  1. Just been catching up on the Manchester gig and and having a chuckle to myself.:roftl:

I realised that when we all meet, I will be expecting a crowd of people who all look like Mika.

When I always see a person's avatar with a photo of Mika, Mika then becomes, Mirtilla or Bexxy or Robertina etc.

This is gonna be weird meeting the real people, when you don't all look like Mika!! :biggrin2:

  2. ladies, yesterday night you all were in my thoughts. Now i must tell you you have all my greatest respect: yesterday i was sewing my shirt for the paris gig and i almost got blinded!:biggrin2: actually it's not a big deal, i only had to sew few draws i made onto my shirt and for me, who's never attached even a button it was a challenge!:biggrin2: and you made the trousers. i need some sewing classes from you:biggrin2:

Mirtilla, my husband doesn't even ask me to sew a button on to his shirts I am that bad! I was able to do cutting and tacking, and unpicking, but that's about all! Oh, and I made lots of cups of tea and food, that made up for my lack of experience in the sewing machine department (er, i think)!

Just shows, with determination, you can work together and achieve anything!

    :biggrin2:

  3. Thats great to know - any further down and he will get done for indecent exposure!!!!! :wink2::roftl:

Talking of indecent exposure, I am being called to bed, so had better go!

Will speak to you before you head off on holiday!

    Night night x

  4. McPenniman could grow on me any time, my friend.... any time. :wink2::naughty:

    *dodges Kath's bad mood*

Tartan and Martin rhyme perfectly!! And I just thought he wore a kilt cos they were in Scotland! You know... Luke was a koala in Sydney, but that doesn't mean he's Australian. I thought it was all just about adopting things from the country they were in at the time.

My bit of tartan is McPenniman!:thumb_yello:

Tartan and Martin do rhyme, we pronounce it more like tartin, than tartaaaaan. :naughty: So you rhyme away Rainbow! :wink2:

  5.

I do always put my family first, but this is an exeption and you have to make them sometimes. If i didn't, then i would never go to any gigs. :biggrin2:

Fair enough Sara, (this is the first time you've actually said anything like that).

All anybody has to go on is what you've posted before, (remember, your brothers comments!).

You did point out that I don't know you, your right, which is why I was encouraging you to spend your anniversary with your husband, over a bunch of strangers! :biggrin2:

No need to be offended or shocked, just pointing out what I thought was an obvious thing for you to think about.:wink2: I am not an agressor, (if you knew me), I am very much the opposite! :thumb_yello:

  6. Ha ha ha!!! Well, thank you for your opinion :naughty:

Yes, i would have probably gone on the Saturday but i thought my hubby would have wanted to make a wekend of it with me, but, he doesn't wanna go so............

He may change his mind, who knows.....

Yes, hubby is 'real life', and so are the gigs and the MFCers that i'm meeting. The Friday night will be about Mika, because it will about the Mika Fan Club having a party and a laugh:thumb_yello: :biggrin2:

My relationship with my hubby is marvel, thanks, it's just a shame he doesn't wanna go to Glasgow.

I'm not changing my plans just because he doesn't wanna come.

Like i say, he may change his mind, if not, then it's freedom for me innit! LOL!!:naughty::roftl:

You say he doesn't want to make a weekend of it with you, is it any wonder, you are not having a romantic weekend for 2. You are meeting up with 20 something other people to rave about Mika! Not the typical wedding anniversary now is it!

I'm not meaning to cause offence here, but with me, my family come first, always. You can still have a great time with us on the Saturday.

Step back for a minute and put yourself in his shoes, that's how I TRY to live my life, doesn't always work, but, if he put himself in your shoes, he'd have a pretty good case for you not going, as you have all the other gigs and people to meet too!

Anyway, that's all I should say, but you should really think about it Sara, this fan club could have fizzled out in a few months, he'll still be around......

  7. D'ya know what, i told my brother last night that i'm going to Glasgow on my own and he thinks i'm mad.

Ian told him about me going to meet you lot on the Friday and my brother thought i should stay at home and go on the Saturday because i'd be leaving him on our Wedding Anniversary.

The way i see it, is that i've got two tickets and i'm going on the Friday to make a weekend of it. If he doesn't wanna come, that's his fault.:naughty::roftl: :roftl:

    Sara, seriously.

You are going to see Mika 7 times in the space of 2 or 3 weeks.

I have no idea what your relationship is like with your husband, but it is your wedding anniversary. For me, there would not be a choice to make.

Going to see Mika is great an all, but your husband is REAL life, and he should come first. It would be different if he wanted to come, but he doesn't so, compromise, that's what it's all about. The Friday night isn't even about Mika, so stay and celebrate with your hubby then come and join the rest of us on Saturday night. It's the right thing to do! :biggrin2:

  8. i could do with a bigger size badge the smaller ones dont show up that much :biggrin2:

*im just getting Hyper about the next tour just by reading all of the us reports*

Fear not, we will be noticed! What with the tartan scarfs, the flashing hearts, the MFC badges and the hats, we won't be missed for sure! :roftl:

  9. Yeah - Easyjet. They are the cheapest i reckon. They book about 3 or 4 months ahead, that's all. I will wait til July and try again. :thumb_yello:

I think you should fly Bab. You'll be well cream crackered if you drive and you don't wanna end up fallin' asleep and bein' a party pooper DO YOU!!!!! LOL!!:roftl:

Check out flights with BMI baby too! I have had some very cheap flights with them.

Me & GITB had return flights from Edinburgh to Heathrow in January, they were only £56 each! Shop around. Also, Ryan Air, Flyglobes span, there are others so check them out!

  10. OH!!!!
