    Sound Of An Orchestra!

    Mika has written a new song that will be released worldwide in January! The track was written as the theme song for a new Italian hit TV show called ‘La Compagnia del Cigno,’ directed by friend and previous collaborator Ivan Cotroneo. The show will air on Italian TV only but the track will be available for streaming and download internationally on 4th January 2019… Presave it on your Spotify now! More news coming soon…

    Mika will take to the stage in front of an 80,000 audience at Paris’ iconic Stade de France tonight, to close the rugby finals. His show is a completely new, specially curated performance for this event only, not to be missed!
    Fans can tune in to watch online at the below sites/ social media, who will be covering the event live and in full!

    Last night, Mika stole the show at an amazing outdoor concert in central Milan for Radio Italia Live! His short set also featured special guests Chiara on track ‘Stardust’ and Fedez on ‘Beautiful Disaster.’ The show was streamed live on Radio Italia, Radio Italia TV, Real Time, Canale 9 and TRX Radio, meaning audiences across Italy and around the world could share the magic. We’ll share a link to watch the show again soon.

    The rumors are true, Mika will indeed be a season coach again this year on The Voice: La Plus Belle Voix in France! He is joined in the famous red chairs by Soprano, Julien Clerc and old friend and fellow voice coach Jenifer. It’s set to be a great season, don’t forget to tune in!

    Mika has joined the cast of speakers at this year’s Firenze Wired Next Fest!
    He will join other influential and inspiring speakers at the 2018 festival on Sunday 30th September. His conference will be at 17.00, the event is free to attend but fans shout register here . For further info please see www.wired.it.

    Yesterday evening, Mika took to the stage in Florence, Italy, as part of this year’s Wired Next Festival. He talked and performed for a selected audience of fans and press – tickets were free but by registration via Wired (plus 6 lucky winners from competitions across Mika’s sites!)
    The event was live streamed on Wired Italia Facebook page and fans tuned in from all over the world. Here are some event photos, in case you missed it.
    Speaking about the experience, Mika said ‘Che bello ieri a Wired Next Fest a Firenze. Sono tanto contento di avere parlato e anche cantato insieme a voi, mi ha dato tanta energia!’ (loose translation – A lovely time at Wired Next Fest in Florence. I’m so happy to have talked and even sang with you, it gave me so much energy!)

The show follows seven teenagers studying at The Conservatory in Milan who write and interpret music, which then feature in each episode of the program. The show airs from Monday 7th January on Italian television, but Mika’s track is available worldwide today – head here to get it!

    Last night, the talented Don Cheadle performed a musical sketch around Mika on Saturday Night Live, NBC’s long-running and multi award winning late night comedy show. The piece was based around a bar fight that goes awry when the wrong ‘fight song’ is mistakenly put on the jukebox and the bar instead is overcome by the need to dance to Mika’s track ‘Lollipop’!
    Totally hilarious and a complete surprise to be featured, Mika was thrilled, saying ‘I cried laughing watching this.’

    Mika x Pilot

    To celebrate 100 years of leading the way in creative penmanship, Pilot has launched a special centenary campaign in collaboration with Mika! The brand wanted to showcase their dedication to passion and innovation and who better to front it than someone known for the same qualities in his own career. The ‘Mika Limited Edition’ collection pens are inspired by Mika’s incredible career to date and showcase creativity and imagination with intricate designs and vibrant colour. Made with his sister Yasmine, Mika’s collaboration with Pilot is a true expressions of his unique creativity and positive force.
    The range includes a total of 24 pens, covering the iconic G-2, V5 and FriXion Ball lines. Each colour has a unique design and they are available in a variety of sets of singularly across Europe.
    In Mika’s own words, “It’s a pleasure to celebrate Pilot’s 100th anniversary together with you and to create a special project for this birthday. Pilot has been part of my life, I grew up with these pens, I grew up stealing my father’s V5, stealing my mother’s (V7) and learning how to write properly with these pens and also learning how to draw. So using these same pens that we now have in our design studio today, we’ve created another world and our versions of Pilot pens for this birthday.     A fantastic new rework of Mika’s huge hit single ‘Celebrate’ (feat. Pharrell Williams) is out today!
    The very talented Ryan Riback has rediscovered the track and worked his magic on it. You might have heard it in the new Pilot pens commercial, they have chosen to use it across their 100 years of Pilot global TV campaign!
    Speaking about the track, Ryan says:
    ‘When I got the call to work on a record by Mika and Pharrell I immediately jumped at the opportunity! “Celebrate” was already an amazing record but it was fun to take that record and put my own twist on it. Given the lyrics and vocal melody are so uplifting, I decided to keep it happy and fun, and just add some fresh sounds :)’

Known for his colourful and inventive style both on stage and off, it was the perfect match and Mika is proud to have continued his relationship with the brand into 2018 for a second year.
    The Collection range of 108 comes in a range vibrant colours, each with a wide variety of customisation options, and Mika will showcase these throughout the year in a series of chic and fun photo and video campaigns. 
    Speaking about the collaboration, the brand say “MIKA and the PEUGEOT 108 make a perfect pair, both being utterly urban, imaginative, and elegant. The new advertising campaign underlines the partner-in-crime relationship and creativity between MIKA and his 108, and the way they complement and influence each other and playfully transform the world around them.”
    At the start of the collaboration, Mika said, “It is an honour to be associated with such an iconic French brand – PEUGEOT. I have grown up with it my entire life and have always loved their aesthetic and design. The new campaign is a fun collision of my world and that of the 108 ! We had a great time creating it and you can feel it watching the ad.”

    Last night, BBC Radio 2 aired a very special show dedicated to the musical career or legendary writer and entertainment personality Andrew Lloyd-Webber, to celebrate his 70th birthday. Jo While presented the 2-hour show with contributions from a host of talent including Nerina Pallot, Mica Paris, The Vamps and many more, with covers of huge songs from The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Evita and more.

    To celebrate the 20 year career of incredible Japanese artist Sheena Ringo, a special tribute album will be released on 23 May 2018! The concept of the record is to ‘go beyond’ – beyond generations, beyond music genres and beyond all borders. An outstanding lineup of collaborators and featured artists are already involved on the album, including AI, Yosui Inoue, Hikaru Utada & Nariaki Obukuro, Kaela Kimura, Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku, Takao Tajima(ORIGINAL LOVE), Sakura Fujiwara, Takako Matsu, Daichi Miura, RHYMESTER, LiSA, Rekishi, the ウラシマʼS(Special Band formed for this tribute by the members from SPITZ/Mr.Children/ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION/Ameno Parade)… and now MIKA! There will also be a special short novel by million selling writer Tesuya Honda for the CD booklet.
