    Thanks, Tunde! It was so lovely to meet you and ALL the new faces that were there that Monday night -- seems like a lifetime ago now, doesn't it? But The Distillers and its staff were just great, and it was exceedingly generous of Mika and his team to cover most of our food and drink for the evening. And the food was so good! I do have some photos and videos that I got from others as well as my own that I'll share here -- I'll post the videos on YouTube as well when I get the chance.     I had the chance to walk around Hammersmith yesterday and found the Distillers. It’s literally a few minutes around the corner and down the street from the venue, easy to find. looking forward to seeing you there!

    Fanny shared this hilarious "Billy Brown" from tonight in Wolverhampton. Apparently the gorgeous wing piano couldn't fit through the door of the venue, so Mika had to play "air piano". Such a goofball!

    Well, the deadline was just a few hours ago. I turned over the list of entries and now it's out of my hands. All they told me was that the winners would be notified "later", so I'm guessing sometime this weekend, but I really can't say for sure. It will take some time to draw the winners and then get the notifications out.

    I'm afraid I don't have any special insight that will help either of you. As Silver said above, it's difficult to predict the ideal time to get to the queue. It depends on the size of the venue, the day of the week, the weather, whether it's sold out, so many factors... Unfortunately (in my opinion) some fans have taken to queuing from an extremely early hour in order to be sure they get near front row. I don't think (again in my opinion) that's absolutely necessary, but feel compelled because of this to queue earlier than I normally might. I would say that to get near the front you will probably have to be in the queue NO LATER than very early in the afternoon. Not sure what time doors are set to open, but that means you'll be queuing a lot of hours, which may not be ideal. As far as the numbering system goes, that is really not something that Mika Fan Club does officially. Usually what happens is that if whoever gets to the queue first decides to start numbering people as they arrive, they take charge of that. I'm not opposed to the idea of the numbering system, because it allows you to take a lunch break or run to the loo without losing your place in the queue. I think it's very civilized, as long as people don't abuse it. The unfortunate thing is that often security at a venue doesn't respect the numbers and lets fans in randomly, which tends to create some panic and chaos. I *wish* I could say that everyone would behave respectfully, but we all know that doesn't always happen. In a perfect world, everything would be fair and orderly, but this is definitely NOT a perfect world. So... bottom line is get there early if you want to be near the front. Check our Instagram account, as we generally have someone sharing photos of the queue from early on, so you can get a sense of how many people are already there. If people are doing the numbers thing, then get a number and hope for the best. I guarantee you will have an amazing time at the gig no matter what!

    Yes, it really was such a long time ago now, and he has played in London/UK a few times recently. I would love to hear some of the new songs -- as long as he's speaking English in between the songs so I can follow along, I think it would be fine!

    Yes, I just came here to post this! Strikes update The planned strike action affecting Tube services on Monday 8 April and Saturday 4 May has been cancelled. Tube services are expected to run as normal on both days. Strikes are planned by the ASLEF union on national rail services between Thursday 4 and Tuesday 9 April. Levels of disruption will vary on each of these days, with no services in some cases. For more information, visit the National Rail website.

    And while we're giving updates, here's the latest I received on the Tube/Rail strikes -- I just keep hoping that they'll cancel the action for this month Dear Mrs Koma, Strike action is planned by ASLEF union members on Monday 8 April. If these strikes go ahead, there will be severe disruption across the London Underground network, with little or no service expected. Any services that do run, will not run after 19:00. No other TfL services are on strike, but they will be busier than normal and queuing systems may also be in place. On Tuesday 9 April, London Underground services may start later than normal. We expect that a good service will be running by mid-morning. Customers travelling on these days are advised to plan ahead, consider alternative routes including walking and cycling, check before they travel and allow more time for their journey. For more information on this Tube strike and a future planned strike on Saturday 4 May, visit our strikes webpage.     Chloe, if you're worried, I'd say definitely check on them -- call the ticketing agent. Did you buy through Ticketmaster or the venue? I bought through Ticketmaster and got e-tickets, so I don't know what else to say about actual tickets. Good luck!

    Just received this update from Ticketmaster: Mika: Apocalypse Calypso Tour - Eventim Apollo, London Hi there, There's been a slight change to your event... It's not a huge change, but the venue have been in touch to let us know that the doors for the show on 9 April 2024 will now be opening at 18:30, rather than 19:00. Everything else is staying exactly the same and your tickets are still valid - you don't need to do anything other than show up on the night.
