I have to say .....

 

The verses are very catchy , i love it .... Untill it gets upto the chorus ... then i quite honestly cringe i feel the chorus cancels out the rest of the song ... for me anyway the chorus is too repetitive and whaling ... i hope the recorded version sounds a little different ....

I think it's the chorus that I find a bit hard to like at the moment. Too high and 'whiney'....as you say, maybe the studio recording will be better, or it could end up being over-produced and sound worse:blink:

I haven't given up hope that it will grow on me just yet...

I've listened a couple of times, and I'm still in two minds. The first listen was a poor recording, but the second listen was better quality. This certainly didn't have the same effect as HMDYLM had when I first heard it - you know the goosebumps (aka ants tits - thanks for that one Caz!!) etc.

I't on my Ipod now, so maybe a few more listens and it will grow on me....?

Do we know it is definitely him? I know that on Thursday night, we weren't quite 100% sure??

Anyway, if it is David, I wish him all the best. He has some big shoes to fill, but I will form my own opinions after Tuesday!

I can actually finally listen to this concert tonight as have finally got a radio link to work... all the other's I either couldn't navigate cos' they were in french or the radio would just keep buffering and not do anything

 

 

I am now slightly happy that I can listen to Meeks tonight...

but looking at tonights set list, it looks like the Amsterdam show will be the

same or very similar to the ones in Glasgow and London!!
