    Yes Aurelien's got one of my tickets and we're also bringing Long. We met him in the queue at Hammersmith the day the gig was cancelled in 2007 and he still hasn't seen Mika! He is a LOT of fun and very excited about these gigs so it's going to be great. :biggrin2:

     

    Aurelien's coming? I'm gonna meet the famous Relax piano player? Cool! I think Siv told me about Long at that time, that he was such a cool guy :)

    I've never been to such a nice looking venue for a Mika gig.

    And it dawned on me that maybe my usual jeans attire is too dressed down. :blink: But I might be on a bus/van or train for 8 hours. :boxed:

     

    Is anyone wearing jeans or will you be dressing up a little more than that?

     

    The venue is nice and fancy but you don't have to dress fancy really. It really depends on who's playing there. I know radiohead played there once and I don't think people were all dressed up for that. Now if you,re going there for an opera singer, than maybe yes you'll want to dress up. I went to see a gig there once and pretty much everybody was wearing jeans. I'm gonna be wearing jeans for sure, not a big fan of dresses and skirts in October... I defo want to wear something gold, I'll look for a gold cami or something like that. At first I wanted to wear my bright yellow skinny jeans but if I wear it with gold it's gonna look icky.

     

    So there, I say dress as you want to!!

     

    if i remember correctly, the stage is quite high. so... why don't we come equiped with a step ladder?

     

    yeah I remember it being a little high as well... well certainly higher than the Poisson Rouge but then again, no stage will ever be as low as the Poisson Rouge's!!

     

    where is claudine sitting? i texted her before but didn't hear back from her

    There seems to be more RSVP's to the NYC show-Awesome.

     

    22 so far!!! PARTY!!

     

    Did anybody get their seats? I got mine for Montreal and I know Vero is working today so I'll know our seats for NYC only tonight I guess... lollipops crossed :D

     

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!! Front row DEAD CENTER for the gig in Montréal!!! Thank you so much Danie for getting these awesome seats, I hope I did well for the NYC gig too!!! Didn't receive anythin yet though, and since it's almost 9pm already I don't think we'll have any news today.

     

    Just got my tickets to Boston, and they are front row (at least I think so after watching a seating chart)!! So I think MFCers have good seats in New York too. Can't wait!!! :biggrin2:

     

    Ooooo congrats on your front row tix!!! Yeah I do think MFC will get THE best seats at every seated venue!!!

     

    Congrats on you seats for Boston :thumb_yello: Nothing more pleasant than being front row without having to queue for it :wink2:

    Yeah....my dream didn't really make me worried. I actually sent an email to Sandbags shortly after we all bought our presales and gave them a "friendly suggestion" that they should always start every row from the centre, rather than the end of the row. :blush-anim-cl:

    Oui le St-Hubert me semble idéal... and I prefer being a row back too than at the end... but Mika moves a lot from side to side on the stage though...

    ha ha ha A LOT of MFCers don't seem to mind the take-off and hate the landing . . . I about freak out during take off AND I watch others around me - and I see them putting their heads back and closing their eyes too . . . so, I KNOW I am NOT the only one! I don't mind the landing at ALL (unless it is raining THAT is scary) I guess cause I feel like :clap: I MADE IT WOO HOO!

     

    oh it's not that it scares me or anything, I'm not scared on planes... the landing just makes me wanna vomit really :naughty:

    Montreal, here I come!

     

    Yeah, I had Christine buy me the ticket the day of - but it was all depending on finding a flight that wouldn't cost as much as a flight to London. :teehee:

     

    Which I found, and booked today. :biggrin2:

     

    I would love a crash course in French. So far, my one fall back sentence is "mon Français est un pamplemousse". :pinkbow:

     

    My French is a grapefruit.... :roftl:

     

    Better than ST's Je suis un cochon!
