They are releasing quite many singles of LiCM. Happy Ending is one of my favourites I wish there will be again some new stuff on B-sides and not only remixes *still waiting my Big Girl singles to arrive*

Maybe after that they will give Mika some time to rest and write new songs!

I found a Mika site called http://www.mika.fr and there is really good looking and precise discography. Who of you has made it?

Love Today on siirtynyt VH-1:n ohjemistoon, ja näytti paljon paremmalta kuin aikanaan youtubesta Relax pyörii Voicella päivittäin mutta siinä ei silleen kyllä oo mitään "katsomista", kuuntelen mieluummin pelkän biisin

Big Girl -singlet, kaikki kolme eri painosta ovat tulossa postissa. Erityisen mielenkiinnolla odotan sitä Gossipin kanssa tehtyä yhteisvetoa. Hauskan oloinen bändi tuo Gossip, ainakin kuulemani kahden biisin perusteella

Tosi hieno reissu Mariannella! Mukava lukea keikkaraportteja, vaikka vihreä kateudesta olenkin

Satulle, tuo sanoitusvihko on aika ankea mustavalkoinen tekstiliuska, siinä on japanilaisilla kirjaimilla ja myös meikäläisittäin kirjoitettuna. Äkkiä katsottuna ne on ihan oikein - mutta muutama kohta on muistaakseni eri tavalla mitä netissä olevissa lyriikoissa, ne on varmaankin kirjoitettu korvakuulolta.

Joskushan sanoitukset vielä viime hetkellä muuttuu ja biisissä sanotaan eriä mitä painetussa paperissa. Tai artisti itse laulaa sitten livenä vielä ihan muuta mitä on biiseihinsä kirjoittanut

Onko tullu mitään uutisia siitä heinäkuun alusta, että oliko Mika sairaana vai ei niiden Tanskan perumisten aikaan?

I searched a lot where to buy Mika singles and HMV has them in reasonable price. But because of the quite expensive P&P (2 £ each, you lucky have free delivery in UK ) I got them from ebay. There is a seller called Recordshack and they sold 7" + 12"+ CDM together in 9,95£ at Buy it now price. I got earlier my Love Today CDM and 7" also there. So now I'm waiting my order to arrive

^ joku on jo ottanut kuvan niistä, kokeile etsiä LiCM Japanese Release -threadia semmosia pikkuruisia, joita japanilaiset liimailee kännyköihin jne. Mukana tuli muuten myös biisien sanat vihkosena, ihan hyvä sillä en oo kyllä saanu varsinkaan Love Todaysta mitään selvää aiemmin.

I'm so sad because of the poor video of Relax. They really made it in hurry, didn't they? Singles are made because they promote the sales of the original album. Relax is already popular song in downloads... so why not re-release it as a single and make a video if people want it so much. I just can't remember any other case when record labels have done like this

Mulla on langat ostettuna ja malli päässä eli ne LOVE TODAY lapaset on tulossa... heti kun ehdin.. eli ehkä lokakuussa Mutta sillonhan se lapasia tarviikin kun tulee talvi.

Oon kuunnellu mun japsiversiolevyä, siinä on se uusi biisi Your Sympathy. Ehkä vähä parempi mitä Erase, ne on peräkkäin ja ne on ihan eri tyylisiä kuin muu levy, vähän semmosia yleismaailmallisia hittejä, ei juuri erotu Radio Novan perusslovareista. Harmi sinänsä kun Mikalla on taito tehdä omaperäisiäkin hittejä. Muuten tykkään biisijärjestyksestä enempi kun Relax ja Ring ring on peräkkäin ja ne Raffan tarinat tulee myöhemmin.

Typerä kysymys ja hävettää edes esittää tämä, mutta mikä Mikan oikea nimi sitten on? Miten on mahdollista, että lähes kaikki nettisivut (ainakin mitä olen lukenut Mikasta) väittävät tämän olevan Michael?

Tuosta nimiasiasta on puhuttu varmaan tuhansia viestejä ja lopputulos lienee, että kukaan ei tiedä mitä Mikalla lukee passissa.

Kappaleiden tekijätiedoissa lukee MIKA tai Michael Holbrook Penniman. Se puhuisi sen puolesta, että virallinen nimi olisi Michael eikä monessa paikassa mainittu Mica. Toisaalta jos Michael on halunnut lyhentää nimensä Micaksi, joko huvikseen tai ottaakseen taitelijanimen, se lausutaan väärin monessa päin maailmaa, siitä tulee helposti Mishka ja Maika. Joten jos sen kirjoittaa Mika niin se myös äännetään oikein...

Ei auta kuin jatkaa pähkäilyä. Ei kukaan sattuis olemaan lentokentällä töissä ja vois vilkaista henkilöpaperit?

En ole nyt lukenut viimeisimpiä uutisia, mutta HIENO JUTTU OIKEASTI jos Mika ottaa vähän (sairaus)lomaa ja parantelee ja lepäilee itsensä kunnolla kuntoon. Oli sitten syynä Mikan managerit tai Mikan oma into tehdä lupaamansa keikat, ei niihin kannata lähteä puolikuntoisena. Lavalla heiluminen käy urheilusta, joten kunnon tauko on paikallaan

Täällä on ollu "pikku"keskustelut aiheesta "Miksi Mika peruu joitain keikkoja". Mitään virallista tiedotetta ei kai vieläkään ole tullut, mutta lehdissä ja festarien sivuilla on ollut irtonaista infoa, mm. syynä korvatulehdus, keuhkokuume, äänen lähteminen ja päällekäin buukkaus. Ei me tiedetä. Ja siks osaa jengistä kiukuttaa. Sairastumisen todellisuutta on vähän ihmetelty, sillä suuret festarikeikat Irlannissa ja Skotlannissa sekä yks privakeikka kyllä onnistui, mutta Tanskan festarit eivät. Ja mua harmittaa siksi että en tiedä vieläkään miksi just SE KEIKKA MINNE MÄ MENIN peruttiin

I understand fans getting pissed off because they've made arrangements to see him and he cancelled his appearance. It's a huge inconvenience and it's obviously disappointing. But it seems that what people are most disappointed about is that Mika is just a musician trying to make a living instead of this demi-god that everyone has built him up to be.

 

Gigs get cancelled all the time. That's something ticketbuyers need to keep in mind when they make risky decisions like buying expensive tickets they can't afford or booking non-refundable flights.

Yes, gigs get cancelled, but there is usually some kind of official announcement why it's happening. Like few months ago, Mika cancelled some gigs in UK(?) and ticket buyers were clearly informed. (Even I heard it though I wasn't going )

Like you said, buying expensive tickets and not seeing him is disappointing. But that's not all. In Scandinavia (+ Finland) travelling to gigs isn't easy! We must take many flights, wait for hours... My trip from my home town to Nibe took 18 hours, three planes and a rental car! Money can't buy a fast and easy way to the gigs if they (and your home) aren't in capital cities

Because the WOW in Sweden is cancelled too, I don't know how to get into his concert. I can't plan my trips in a couple of days, not only because of looking for bargain flights but also because or work, family etc. That's why I usually plan a holiday WITH a gig. Nibe was cancelled, but still I had my 5-day Danish roadtrip and The Ark concert.

What I really wanted was to see and hear Mika playing live. I don't have to meet him because the main thing about him for me is his music. I believe there is thousands of Mika fans who adore his music, not him personally

Now I have to wait at least his next record and tour. That's why I'm sad and angry and I want to know what is the official reason for the cancelling and I think I'm not the only (lonely) one

Something is rotten in the state of Denmark. It's the fact that Mika is never going to get a break-through here.. But that's OK, we're disposable anyways

He cancelled 2x Denmark, 1x Sweden and he is not coming to Finland. I travelled to Nibe, me and other Finns of MFC had planned a trip to WOW. If there is a list for disposable fans, I want a number...

Mistä se keuhkokuumejuttu alunperin lähti liikkeelle? En ole päässyt lukemaan ihan kaikkea. Korvatulehdus on onneksi paljon nopeamin parantuva tauti. Sitä en silti ymmärrä että miksi Mika teki sen Readingin keikan sen jälkeen kun Niben peruutus oli tehty. Esiintykö se siellä jo vähän kipeänä

 

Anyway, he shouldn't have been there, wether he could sing or not :

 

- if he was able to sing, then why cancel Nibe and Roskilde with such lies

 

- if he couldn't sing, what was the point of being there, and not in his bed, curing from his whatever

I'm still in Denmark and trying to follow this situation with my handheld computer, isn't too easy Why on earth THEY made him do Oxegen appearance? Mika is widely known about his exciting and powerful live performances. In festivals there is large audience including lots of people who has never seen Mika before. He won't get any new fans and record buyers doing gigs when he is ill and tired. Many people will never know that he can do better

Keuhkokuume on kyllä paha ja sen pitää antaa parantua kunnolla! Ettei se Readingin piilokeikka olis ollu liikaa jos muutenkin on ollu korvatulehdusta jne. Mikalla on niin kova kysyntä joka paikassa ja varmasti haluais tehdä kaikki luvatut jutut että saattaa oma lepo unohtua

Toivottavasti Mikan tukiorganisaatio pitäis fanit ajan tasalla, mystiset perumiset ilman kerrottua syytä harmittää kovasti kuten tuo Nibe, ei sanottu mitään

Eilen ajettiin Roskilden festivaalialueen läpi ja siellä on tajuton tulva, vesi peitti leirintäalueita ja autot oli nokkaa myöten veden alla! Toivottavasti kukaan ei huku..

I just returned from Nibe. I went to see the Ark because I had the ticket already. The Ark were brilliant but I had waited for 2 months to see Mika

The audience was quite small so I got a perfect place and I got great pics. Maybe you who were there too saw me. I didn't know about the mud thing and I had silly looking plastic bags around my sneakers.

Ark käytiin katsomassa ja kyllä Ola teki kaikkensa että pieni yleisö innostuisi Sai kävellä suoraan eteen ja kuvista tuli hienoja. Kohde vaan vähä väärä

Ark oli kuitenkin parempi kuin hyvä lohdutuspalkinto. Ihme hommaa Mikalta nämä mystiset perumiset. Jos on sairaana niin tietty pitää levätä ja tiukka aikataulu pistää muutenkin koville. Tuo Ruotsi ihmetyttää, onkohan se buukattu silloin kun Mika oli vielä pieni tähti ja nyt aikataulut on ylitäynnä
