  1. 250? thanks for the information!

I'd love to go but it's weird, I mean we have a client card for years, and we have a jbc online account and I receive their newletter also already for 2 years ...? But ok, I hope some MFC'ers will be able to go though! :)

That's weird, you'd think that you would get an invitation for sure then :dunno:

Well, I'd like to say good luck fellow Belgians, but since we don't even know how to enter I think we'll need a lot more than just luck :fisch:

  2. Zanger MIKA ontwerpt voor JBC

    mikavoorjbc.png

De ‘MIKA for JBC’ collectie ligt vanaf mei in alle JBC-winkels. (JJ)

    ------------

So, Mika designed a collection for JBC. There will be a collection for women, men and 'young girls'. They haven't specified if this is a collection for children or teenage girls. What we can expect: preppy style, british accents and fun slogans. The collection will be in stores from May.

I never set foot in a JBC store, maybe I'll give it a go now :mf_rosetinted:

  3. Love this show so far! The second season just ended over here so I won't be following this thread. Don't want to get any spoilers. Btw, maybe it's handy to use the

    My favorite character is

    Daryl!!:D

    That is all :teehee:

  4. And I just bought my weeding dress yesterday ! And oh my god, I love it :wub2: I wanted it to be fluffy but with no train, and a style like a ballerina. And I found her :wub2:

If you want to see some pics, here I am with her :wub2: I am sooo happy !

Glad you found your dream dress, Deb! It's stunning :wub2:

  5. Finally watched some entries today. Personally I quite liked Cyprus and I kinda love Malta too. It's a very a cute song but it sounds awfully familiar. I love Greece as well, not joking here. I really love ska music so obviously I'm liking that influence. The lyrics are something else though... :fisch:

Random: Finland left me a bit puzzled :aah:

  6. Ha I like his hair. I think my niece had that colour once. Now it is some shade of orange/red/purple. Seems to change on a weekly basis. :naughty:

He reminds me of Ross Gellar. And someone else I can't put my finger on.

Ha! When I first saw the picture he reminded me of a cross between David Schwimmer and Colin Farrell :teehee:

  7. I wouldn't mind either way. From what I've read on MFC over the last few months, even years, he isn't popular in the UK to begin with. Like Marilyn says, how could it get even worse then?

Other than that I totally agree with DerMoment1608 about the fact that countries should complain less and focus their attention more on sending entries that are actually decent and will appeal to the masses. Rybak, Loreen, Lena (even if not my taste...) are great examples of this. I'm looking forward to ESC. With or (most likely) without Mika.

  8. No clear winner here... stuck in the middle idd :fisch:

You Scored as "Stuck In The Middle"

You are thoughtful and daydreaming. A little bit melancholic. You always fight for what you care, you take care of yourself easily and your friends and family always feel safe with you. You love discovering new things by yourself, you are extremely curious, but you never against somebody teaching you new things.

  11. Hier sie, nog een sociaal werker! :wink2:

Het was een super concert he, in Brussel! Van mij mag hij al zijn concerten in het koninklijk circus doen :naughty:

In ieder geval: Welkom, Daniëlle! En veel plezier! Als je nog vragen hebt, stel ze gerust :thumb_yello:

  12. Best concert ever ever ever!

    Really enjoyed every single second!

We arrived at 3pm or something at the venue and someone told they were keeping a list and everything, so it was really well organised, thanks to the early fans and the security! Unfortunately some people who arrived late tried to get in the line before the ones with the numbers, so only the first 50 were let in with a little head start! But in the end we managed to get in the second row at the right of the stage, having a good view!

Mika looked gorgeous, didn't he? I love the opening track, there was a total silence in the venue and that was amazing!

The sound was good, the stage looked impressing with the view on the inside back of the building!

Favourites of the evening were: Happy Ending, Stardust (really loved the acoustic version! I had tears in my eyes!), Underwater (which was beautiful with all those bellenblazen/bubbles), Popular (totally loved the song live!), Grace Kelly and Love You When I'm Drunk!

Really amazing concert, loved every single second! I was so so happy to be standing in the second row, so close to the man himself! He's adorable when he is trying to speak some Dutch (which he can do better than some people that live in Flanders themselves).

Looking forward to the next Mika-gig already!

For those who can read Dutch, I've wrote a long post on my blog: http://froy.wordpress.com/2012/11/03/mika-the-origin-of-love-promotour/

Haha! Ik vond je vlaams report echt geweldig! Echt super en grappig om te lezen, vooral het deeltje van de DJ klonk wel bekend :naughty:

    Me too!

    Here I go again!

This is my report from my very First Mika-gig. And I can tell you. It was just amazing!

    ...

Loved reading your report! I'm glad you've had a great time at your first Mika gig :thumb_yello:

  13. Another try then.

We wandered through the centre of Brussels for quite a while, trying to find the venue and when we arrived the queue was already huge. We ended up in the back of the standing area, but we still had a good view.

I loved the gig, the crowd was very enthusiastic and I really like the red balloons during The Origin Of Love. Had a fantastic day with Laurel, Shady and Weealx :wub2:

    Some pics:

Thank you for the pictures and videos!

I'm so glad you all got in in the end! Shady told me you guys still needed a ticket. Luckily it all worked out! :thumb_yello:

The queueu was huge, huh? A guy on twitter said it was 3 blocks long :teehee:
