  1. his chest was not so hairy in london, was it? :wink2:

hi oldlings....what a blue mood i can see around the forums....and i feel a bit neglected myself.

i think we should all overcome this feeling of disillusion, and be on our feet again...but i find it pretty difficult.

    oh well

where is our mika to cheer us up?:wub2:

hi robi :biggrin2: it'll be better tomorrow, it's friday :punk:

  2. Hi Pooh and Silver. Hope everyone is doing well today. I just woke up from the nastiest headache. It's sort of gone now so I'm wondering if I should go to work. Those headache's just drain me though. Or, I could just sit here the rest of the afternoon. :naughty:

hi charlie :thumb_yello: i'd stay here if i were you :wink2:

It was a shubunkin - we called him Big Daddy so as you can imagine we still have a lot of his offspring, which is some consolation.

it's so sad when we lose a pet :flowers2:

  3. Next door's *"@@"ing cat has killed the biggest fish from my fishpond! Found it at the side of the pond this morning. I know it's silly getting upset over a fish, but it was 10 years old and would take food from your hand.:tears:

omg silver that's awful  what kind of fish was it?

  4. hi vicky :thumb_yello: how are you?

i was wondering about clare too, glad she's ok :original:

maybe we'll get some news today, i'll keep checking but i have to write a letter as part of my course so i can't be here much till later. (i'm not good at letter writing )

  5. Hi Pooh - got to hospital at 9.20am and were not seen till 11am!! :boxed:

Had to go and check they had her notes - then the lady said she was

sorry but the appointments for that doctor were running about 45 mins

late!! They took the back-slab off and the doctor pressed and

moved Eilidh's wrist, she yelped in pain, and then nearly fainted!! He has

decided to keep it in plaster for 6 weeks, and see how it heals - but if

there are any complications then they will have to pin it. I then had

to get her to the orthodontist whao said they would try and fit her in,

rather than have to go back down for 4pm - did that, took her for new

jeans, and trainers for Hazel, into McD's for late lunch - then back up the

road for 3.45pm!! A long, and quite tiring day!! But it was sunny all day

so it was lovely to be out in it!!! :thumb_yello:

    oooh.....long busy day

  6. Hiya Oldlings!

I feel so out of the loop -- I've been so wrapped up in other things,

I never have time to read back and see what you're all up to... :(

Anyhow, just wanted to stop in and say hello to all the lovely

    people here! :original:

Yes, still waiting for you-know-what... it's like to kill me soon, I think...

Good thing I'm blonde, you can't see all the grey hairs this has given me!

But the wrinkles? That's another story! :naughty:

    dcdeb

    hi deb :biggrin2:

  7. Hello Pooh, I missed you by a whisker last night, but I had to go, I still had to get home, much like now actually (same place as well, ha ha!).

    hi charlie :thumb_yello:

Hi Pooh, how's the job front going? Or should I not ask?

Hi Charlotte, saw the great deal you got on your sheets! :thumb_yello: Did you wash them first? (just curious, I used to wash everything before I wore them)

hi candboys :thumb_yello: lol it's safe to ask, i had a rant yesterday. i'm still searching and waiting to hear from people

  8. It was AMP's party, actually. :naughty: Did groceries yesterday ... lists are essential! (if you don't want to have to run back for the stuff you forgot the first time!):wink2:

Hiya Pooh, how are you? Doing fine here...sun's out and the cardinals are singing sweetly outside... :thumb_yello:

  9. I am also not holding my breath any longer.......

Well, I have to go to bed. Have to sing (woohaahaha, my girls often ask me to quit singing :roftl: ) Happy Birthday tomorrow!

    Good Night everyone:punk:

    xxxAMP

(ps: does anyone know why we don't hear of Blue at the Oldings lately?)

goodnight AMP, hope the party goes well :thumb_yello:

Hi guys, I'm just on my way back from a late London run, so can't stay long.

Wendi, would Kath be able to call or text you? If not leave me your number and I'll be happy too. I kept Jemma and Vicky updated, just about to text Ruth.

    hi rose :thumb_yello:

  10. Its really selfish - but I wanted to be here when it was posted - which

was why I kept today clear!! :boxed:

I will be at the hospital for hours - so phone will be off, and its a

45 minute journey home to my computer

Then I am back to Perth for Eilidh's orthodontist appointment -

again in Perth - so I will be out the house, and away fom the computer for most of the day! :boxed:

You are welcome! The one nice thing about the time zone difference for you is that your chances of seeing it posted are really great! I mean, if he has it up by noon, it will be 5pm your time. :thumb_yello:

    hi charlie :thumb_yello:

wendi, charlie's right you still could be here when it happens :flowers2:

If it was up to me I would invite you to the party:wub2:

    lol thanks AMP

  11. I guess that is true. But I thought of a lot of things to do, unwrapping the gifts, decorating your own cake with all sorts of different things, blindfoulding and then guessing who is opposite you, kind of childrens bowlinggame, making their own placemats etc.

I could guess it a little, but what does cheesed off mean?

ooh....... sounds like kids parties are more fun too :punk:
