Pooh, it doesn't ring true to me. Ebay rarely get back to you by phone even if you have a problem. Do you know about the green security window? (You know, where you type www.ebay.etc)?

Was there an httpS in the address bar? You do have to be security concious with ebay.

shari i didn't notice an s in the address bar because i didn't look. the phone call is an automated message saying "this is ebay calling, if you are expecting this call press ...." it says this three times then cuts you off. unless it says press 1 then it cuts you off as soon as you press it.

my brother has set his account up this way and had no trouble

No promise of a phonecall for me pooh. I don't think they will, they just e-mail you with a code to authorise your registration. Phoning you just doesn't sound right to me.

shari i didn't have an option for email just a phone call in either 20 seconds or 2 minutes

My middle child - the one who lays on the sofa all day with the remote in his hand - has gone to Stratford upon Avon today for an interview all day tomorrow. I don't think he has found out anything about the company or the job

i went to an open day at the job center last week, i didn't know what it was for, but it turned out to be for a job with HSBC, i could have ended up going for a job that i knew nothing about would have looked very silly lol. I hope he is successful

i am normally the same kath but i have read the books and listened to stephen fry reading them so may times i know them nearly word for word
