Absolutely love the film!!!!

Mika as a clown makes perfect sense to me.

So, after 4 days i finally feel ready to do a report..

 

(Do I really?)

Everyone already told you practically everything about the show, so i'm just telling you how i felt...

 

So when it started and i saw Mika moonwalkin on the ceiling i just thought: “Heeey this is the most fab

video i have seen on YT, soooooo real...except i didn't have to press play...

 

And i kept having the feeling i was watching one of Sariflor's videos, except for the squeeking LOL, or one of Karin's or whoever...

 

Until Mika runs to my side of the stage and i see him 1m away from my eyes...

 

Heeeeey, Mika breaths...

 

Heeeeeey, Mika sweats...

 

Yo, Meeks may i jump on your lap as i'm already here??? LOL

 

I realised then it was real...

 

Mika exists indeed...

 

I couldn't take my eyes out of him say for the first 4 songs...

 

But then my husband says Yo, woman, none of your friends is moving check their pulses, to see their alive, and btw check yours, too, you all look like corpses staring at Mika, poor guy!

 

Ok, a good half an hour after getting all dizzy, and fangurly and paralysed after i realised Mika exists for real and it's not just a pic i use for captions, I started enjoying the gig...

 

So that's when i woke up and really started enjoying the show and jumping and dancing...

Martin and David were 2m away from me most of the time and they're like clowns doing all sorts of nonsense while they play...

 

I was peeing myself from jimmy's nonsense on stage...

 

Cherisse is sooooooooooo cute bashing on those drums...she's massive, i wish i had her strenght and beat and rhythm...

 

Imma won't stop, if i took my eyes out of her to look for Mika, she was right at the opposite side of the stage...

 

I got a massive neckpain the other day...

 

And so it kept going, me looking like a tipsy monkey dancing some of the times, others looking like a dead body staring at him when he approached my side of the stage...Duuuuuhhh, Wonka...

 

He looked at me a few times...Or maybe to yuls who was right beside me, and he knows her well, but i'd like to think it was for me and its my party so i'll do as i want to...lol

 

He smiled when i was dancing, i thought hey it's ok i'm doing it right...

 

But when i would freeze staring he looked as if to say

 

Heeeeeeey wot's da matter da matter, you moron???

 

I was so completely dazzled only after the show i realized he didn't sing my fav OFB...

 

No prob, i didn't even notice Mika...lmfao

 

I didn't notice wot he was wearing, i couldn't tell which song was sang or not, i was feeling like Paris Hilton on the hair saloon...

 

I guess i still am...dazzled...

 

Not feeling like PH in an hair saloon, of course...

 

Hope it gets better until the lisbon gig so i can be able to have a decent chat with peeps, coz i feel like a total retarded right now...

 

Wot a first Mika show...effects last much longer than booze, ffs...and it's cheaper and it won't hurt your liver so much...

 

And Yo Donuts, i feel so decadeeeeeeeeeeeeent right now...LOLZ

Have to say that i did looked at you number of times and u seemed to be frozen really while Mr. Wonka was rocking it and dancing.

I remember the first time i saw Mika live 2 years ago, and i was exactly the same, completely frozen and wasn't able to move at all... just stared at him..

He gave our group a whole lot of eye contact that eve, it was really embarrassing. At times i was thinking "alright Mika, you happy i know but stop staring at us and let me take pics, ok? thx" :roftl:

 

I felt myself ugly and very uncomfortable, and also an outsider because all other BGs and LGs and boys were French and all instructions were in French so I couldn't understand a word. But French fans were really kind and they helped me lot and translated, so a huge thank you to them

 

 

And I heard the new show is amazing Can't wait to see it. I didn't actually enjoy being a BG but it was of course so interesting to see his mother and sister working, they do so much behind the scenes, and they were both really lovely. Loved seeing how Mama P enjoyed listening Happy Ending, she must be so proud of him And Maria (? who works with BGs etc) was so nice and helpful too

I can really relate to the first part in this qoute, i felt very much an outsider in Barcelona as well, as i was the only English speaking person there, and did not unerstand a word in Spanish.. luckily the girl who works there was very sweet and patient with me with translating everything.

How amazing is to be backstage and watch everyone works, Yasmine was running around all the time , and Mama P spent a lot of her time with the BG and lollipop girls.

By the way, i am very very happy that you and your friend were on stage, we were very proud of you from the front row, cheering along.

Madrid was just amazing It was my first time in that city and i must say i now adore it! I had some problems to get there but i finally managed to turn up at half past five approx. Too late to be front row! But at least I was there, and I would be able to enjoy the show and all the songs I hadn't seen the previous day in Barcelona, as there I was BG.

Wonka and Mr.W too, what a great couple! I liked your hairslide Wonka! Basicamenteyo, we've talked more by phone that there Hathor, it was nice to meet u, u're a great Mika fan too! Marian, was a short meeting with u too, but hope we see us in another gig! Well, it was great to met you all in the queue, chat and fangurl together!! Yul$, it was nice to met u again, you're crazy but you sing pretty well!

Queen, BlackQueen, Mici: after Barcelona, being again together in Madrid was greeeeeat!!!! And doing tourism the day after the gig was the best! I had lots of fun with u three!

The gig: I was fourth row but i could enjoy the show as well. It was the second gig of the new tour, so Mika was more relaxed and the show was better if possible than that of Barcelona. In Madrid the audience was hyper and Mika too, so it was amazing. Mika spoke in Spanish the whole show, he said we wasn't going to speak in English “I might speak Spanish as a five year old but i don't mind” he said :roft:

And it was funny too that he mixed genders when he said “cantanta” instead of “cantante” (vocals) or “bajisto” instead of “bajista” (bass player). And Rain was... i haven't words to explain it... amazing. The set for WAG is spectacular. And people went mad with every song, and crazy with Grace Kelly and Rain. The audience in Madrid new almost all the songs lyrics, they were great. Lollipop was a party

Thank you for this wonderful report, i think the gig in Barcelona and this gig made me realise how music bring people together, and i simply happy to have met you.

Walking the streets of madrid and doing sightseeings together (and doing the step...step...step...right foot..left foot...) was super lovely and i really hope to meet you again soon.

Sorry i did not contacted you last Friday, i got to Barcelona later then expected and did not do a lot of sightseeings in the end.

Hope your trip was good, are you back home already?

Morning everybody! I just woke up from a well deserved long sleep after my Mikadventure (and I'm still tired!!). I've uploaded a few vids already (of course, I couldn't make so many in Barcelona, as I was part of it:aah:

First and foremost I want to thank everybody that made the whole experience possible: my sisters Queenie and Mici, Yulia & friend and pufpuf (it was more than great to meet you, nutties:naughty:), Sariflor,Mr Sariflor and her mum(it was short, woman, but really worth it!!! ¡¡Tenemos que vernos más, porfa, porfa, porfa), John (I love that guy, I want to be in the JFC!!!), Anna, Marie and everybody backstage, and olf course, the Boy. Forgive me if I left somebody out, I am still far too overwhelmed by the whole thing.

 

I have to say this has been probably the most surreal days of my life, starting with me and Ana looking for a pharmacy for her fever, followed by utter despair due to the closing of the airport (now I know I can handle any situation for what I managed to do). We went from one place to another, making every phone call we thought would help us (we were lucky to be in our country after all) and having a good cry in despair.

 

After getting our gold-priced train tickets, everything slowly started to turn right: John came out looking for BGs and Lollypop girls, so we offered ourselves (I have to say I was there mainly because I didn't want to be left aside alone in the crowd, for I thought I was too big to be a lolly and too small to be a BG) and surprisingly we were in!!! The corset was far too big on me, but I am so grateful I was chosen. Everybody backstage is so nice and caring, they make you feel at home (even after being told off by Mamma P ).

 

We managed to see most of the show from a very good spot and enjoyed to the last drop. I was so full of energy after the ****ty morning me, Ana and Mici had had that I simply had to let it all out.

 

The BG experience was interesting: I loved to see how it all worked and how everybody had their particular part in the show. The only complaint I have is the masks we had to wear: you hardly see anything at all, and as I told someone (maybe Yasmine? As I said, I couldn't see!!): how can I dance or march if I don't see where I put my feet???? I was the happiest person that night to share it all with sis Ana and sis Mici: girls, I love you is not enough:wub2:

 

Mika lost his voice after the show, so he couldn't speak in the meet & greet, but he was smiling all the time, listening to what everybody had to say and posing for a group pic (I won't say it, gals, you had way too much of it already:roftl:).

 

The show. Well, I think it's a visual marvel. I am so proud of the boy! The songs worked perfectly as usual, but this time the visuals are brilliant! I hadn't seen any vids or pics of the previous shows because I wanted to be surprised, and I was alright! Mika's entrance is astonishing, and so is the whole set, with Ian McGillan and all (one of my favourite actors in the show of one of my favourite musicians!!!). The band is utterly perfect, I think it took him a while but now he has found the musicians he deserves, I felt it was actually "MIka & Band", if you see what I mean. He was very nervous in this gig, I'm sure partly because he knew most MFCers couldn't make it and also because it was the first gig of the tour, but everything turned out fine (of course, we were in it too!!).

 

So, all I can say is a huge THANK YOU

I agree with everything you wrote here about Mika's show, and it was such a fun time to spend it with you and Queenie.

Love you girls soooooooooo much!!!!!!

I also forgot to say to Allegra, it was an utter pleasure to be with you and meet you again after a long time. you are fantastic.

Also, Sariflor, i was extremly shocked and suprised you remembered me after sooooo long! It was so nice to see you again and meet your family.

Just landed back to my country, one hour in delay, will upload my photos and vids later today. Still got a 3 hour travel to my city.... Eeeeeeek

It was sooooo keeewl to get my butt at the venue and see a bunch of MFcrs and jump on them as if they were my oldtime childhood friends...

Me and Liliana were the only portuguese there, that i know of...

We drove for 6 hours but it was sooooo worthy...

Da Queens are so awsome, Mici is sooo cute, Pouf pouf looks like a doll, Hathor is my lovely Madrid at night guide, I had basicamenteyo on my left for the whole gig, she is as crazy as me, Yuls on my right, she speaks Portuguese and even crazier than me...

I have pics with the girls, so if they allow me i'll post some...

Met lots of other MFcrs who don't post much and even peeps from Mika Spain!

Spoke to John and I'm founding Da JohnFanClub pretty soon, that man is a genius!

Willy!!!!! you are my hero, really and i say on behalf of the Queens and me that it was an utter pleasure to meet you finally.

btw, those who were BGs/LGs... was the white rabbit in the wedding dress a fan as well, or was it someone from mika's family/crew?

in this gig the bride with rabbit head was a fan, but i have heard them also saying that one of Mika´s sisters is doing that in other gigs.

This gig was such a different gig then the one in Barcelona, mainly because Mika was more at ease and completly out of his mind!!!!!!

He was clearly enjoying himself yesterday, messing up few songs lyrics and nearly falling on stage few times.. he was full of energy and all the stress he seemed to be under in Barcelona was released in this gig.

We were a small group of mfcers there tht included Me, The Black Queen, Hator, Basicamenteyo, and the the representetive of Wonka land- Mr. & Mrs. Wonka..We were all in front a bit to the left and we were having a lovely time together.

The gig was an explotion of energy from start to finish, it was a nice thing to be able to see the gig so close after nearly 2 years of no Mika gigs at all.. so it was also an emotional moment for me.

I was not at my best health as i suffered from a very very bad pain in my legs and i want to thank the lovely Willy Wonka for being so sweet to me yesterday.

After the gig was finished, we wanted to say hello and thank you to Mika but it was impossible, as by the time we got out from the venue there were at least 100 people or more even waiting for him...

This was probably the best gig i have ever been in, it is full of stories, colors and emotions..this was probably my last Mika gig for the forseeable future, and it was well worth the trip and everything envolved.

It was also a hard & bitter sweet gig as there were people who had to be here with us and because the bloody volcano ash they were not able to be.

Where should i begin to start describing this day....this was probably the most surreal day of my life, it has started with me, The Black Queen & Queenie in complete and utter panic state of mind as we heard the airport in barcelona is closed and no flights , so we ere racing against the clock to find tickets back to madrid going to bus to train station and nearly having a complete meltdown...in this point the gig was the least important thing in our mind... once we booked train tickets everything slowely got back to normal, but the craziness of this day was only begun.

We arrived to the venue at 2pm more or less, and around 4pm John came out with assistance to pic lollipop girls and BG, being me i was in a state of being the most negetive person in the world with saying "no way i am going on stage, all i need right now is to fall down infrot of 8000 people and Mika" which made TBQ & Queenie really close to kill me....then i thought ok, WTH lets do this....so we were chosen to be big girl along with Pufpuf & Yulia...and then the negetive state of mind of Mici has kinda disappeared until the reharsels started...

One thing i learned from this experience is never take things too seriously, and its only right foot left foot and thats it!!!!:roftl:

After trying on the costums, we started getting ready and were let out to watch the show up until the time to go on, before love today.... just for the record, the masks are the most horrid thing in the world....its really hard to see anything, let alone breath in them, and after you take them off its like someone throw a bucket full of water on you... the worst paart as in lollipop where we had to dance with thm and mika pushed me aside to take the bride on the high stage.....thanks Mika!!!!!

after everything was finished we started to get back to our normal clothing and thanked Mama p, and everyone for this experience... Mama P is simply the most adorable and sweet person...but so is everyone we met that day.

We went outside of our dressing room and were waiting for Mr. Mika to come out.. when he came John said he wont be speaking so we greated him and took a group picture with him.

I do have to say that Mika was very stressed from begining of the gig to the end, and being backstage you can also see how nervous he was...it was unbelivable.. and it sems like the gig in Madrid yesterday was like the release of all those nerves as he completely lost it, but we will right more about it on the Madrid thread.

Freddie, Ingie, Monie and all the rest who were not able to be there, you were with us all the way, maybe not in person but in spirit and we partied extra for you and we love you all very very very much!!!!!!!!

Thanks, i will send anupdate when possible tomorrow, though I do have to say that my feel of panic has exchanged with worry towards those who attend the gig and need to travel like me. I really hope that in 2 days something will change... sigh!

Well I am about to have a massive panic fit.... Why? Because in 4 hours I am boarding flight to Barcelona and I have no idea what to think... This will be very very depressing for me if the gig will cancled and all the plans will ruin thanks to this volcano ash thing... I really don't know what to think... I tend not to read or listen to the news as they mostly missleading & cause more panic, so I'll guess I'll see the developments when I'll get to Barcelona. This is one scenrio I have never thought will happen, our world and nature is very unpredicable and only time will tell what will happen next.

I really really crossing my fingers that everything will be alright by Saturday....

Well i am off to the airport if few hours, i will keep checking this thread from there (airport wi fi rules!) for any developments...

Maybe u already know that some Tokio Hotel fans in Spain have gone a week and 10 days before the concert to have the best place in the concert,, and the last night in Barcelona there where more than 300 people sleeping there..

 

So.. I know that u are not so crazy ^^’ but I wanted to know if there are some mika fans who sleep there a night or go really early in the morning. Will u do it for Barcelona concert??

I need to pack as well, first need to decide what to take though which is the hardest part.

It's so difficult to decide, isn't it?! I want to wear my high heel lucky shoes But, if I'm trying to be on stage I need at least one pair of very safe flat shoes (I don't want to take any risks!) and I can't fit them into my handbag

I am taking my sport shoes for long walks and nice flats for going out...now that was the easy part, i have a big closet an its full with clothes..tomorrow i will have the task of making the final choice. LOL

I started packing last Sunday....then decided I needed a bigger suitcase:roftl:

I decided to take a bigger one as well, but after having the great success of fitting everything perfectly in my small suitcase i decided to go small..

I can't decide which bag I should take with me. I can't decide if I should carry it with me (small) or if I should leave it waiting somewhere (larger)...

I can't decide which clothes to take...i made everything perfect in my list but now to find the right clothing is a problem...especially if i want to be all fashionestta..
