Mika modelled for Paul Smith before he hit with 'Grace Kelly' but tonight, he lollops around like a big kid, not quite in full ownership of his long limbs. During 'Love Today' he jumps on top of the drumkit then leaps off, almost breaking something.

Thats sort of wrong!!! I admire the way he moves...so gracious, which is not frequent for a tall person!

He has confessed to being part of 'the Greatest Hits generation', a musical cherry-picker who can't see the point of anything that hasn't already been successful.

Completely disagree. reading his interviews I've got an impression that the guys musical horizon (together with knowledge of literature, and modern, and not only, art and design is quite extensive...)

Taking place at Weston-super-Mare beach on July 22, also freshly announced are Maroon 5 and McFly.

I don't think the reviewer quite knows what to make of Mika...hence the disjointed review. Mika is not run of the mill. Mika isn't psudo soul undulating Whitney Houston wannabe nor is he a woman bearing all her assets with a passable voice a la Britney Spears. Nor is he an ex jumping jack guy band slim talent a la Justin Timberlake. He's unique, someone with actual musical background and training, someone with actual honest-to-God talent. What is a reviewer to do with THAT?

And who knows what to make of Mika?

I think the fact that he is impossible to put into a classification file, is why ppl like him and keep being fascinated by him....

And, as I've mentioned in posts before, I dont think the review is negative or agressive...

Just want the musical critics to be professional (if such thing is possible ) and do some minor research before writing...

Generally, dont want to say that all the reviews have to be with a + sign, but the criticism has to be constructive, not some empty barking...

I so very much agree with you, Freddie-HE DOES LOOK WORN OUT and pale and eyes "fallen in" behind all this make up....wanted to mention it in the concert thread, but thought it would be kinda not nice to mention someones looks....but since the issue is raised...

we stood close to the stage in sh.bush....and as a female using loads of makeup:blush-anim-cl: I think I can distinguish what is behind it...
