  1. I had a Mika dream last night. It started with my mum calling him to arrange for him to spend the day with me (I think it was supposed to be my birthday or something). My mum ran out of credit and told him to call me. He called and said "Hi! My name is Mika Kelly and I will be spending the day with you tomorrow. You are allowed to bring 30 internal friends (this basically meant no MFCers. I don't know why I knew that but...)..." Then said something else, but my sister pushed something over, and I didn't hear. I asked him what he said because my sister pushed something over and I couldn't hear, he said 'Hrm.' Then there was this really awkward silence. I said something else, and he saidhe had to go and find out, so stay on the line. After 5 minutes I forgot and put the phone in my pocket. A minute later I remembered, pulled out the phone and asked if I had just left him on the line. "Yes!" He replied, but he didn't sound too bothered. Another awkward silence. "Well, see you tomorrow." He eventually said.

    "I'm really excited."

    "Oh yeah?"

It then skipped to the next day. I (unfortunately) don't remember much from the start.

He began playing Any Other World on a tiny piano in my stairs. My mum was filming him, and I was watching. When he finished, we all clapped. Then we were in a car park up by the little shops near where I live, and It was just me and him. He started playing Rain, but I stopped him.

"Could you play me a new new song instead, if I promise I don't film it? Or you could play me Century Man." He looked slightly confused. "You know, the one you played in New York when it chucked it down and not everyone could see you play so you organised another..." he laughed, remembering, and started playing and writing it out. There's only one line I remember which was something like 'Don't judge by the candy outside, there's more to me than that'. Which was weird, if not funny. It was a really upbeat song and I loved it.

He then got up, and said 'i have to show you this really weird thing at my house." He grabbed my hand and started running, leaving the piano on the pavement. But I didn't want to go, and was trying to avoid it.

    Then I woke up.

    Odd :naughty:

  2. Did anyone see on the news today a couple of people had wrote in to say how 'quickly schools give in'? :roftl: The whole of London is bought to a standstill, yet theyu still expect us to trudge to school ('cause there are no buses or trains) in snow that's almost knee-deep? Pah! Idiots! :roftl:

  3. :biggrin2: I have never seen snow like this! I've been in and out of my house all day! Belle, our dog, has never seen snow (not with us anyway) and it took us ages to get her in! She loved it :naughty: We attempted to make a huge snowman, but we couln't lift it.

We were meant to have a hospital appointment in a hospital pretty much in central London. Got up at 5, no trains, no buses so it was a huge no (if we had gone we'd probably still be there now, wondering how on earth we were going to get home without dying). We eventually got through, at 8:30, our appointment time, and was told even if we had got there, they would be able to do the test cause there wasn't anyone to do it :roftl:

My school and my brother and sister's school was closed today and will be tomorrow.

Snow is gorgeous - especially with a thick blanket like we had today :wub2:

  4. "Dinasour" (or as edited, "Mommeh there's a Dinasour") : The Chorus

    Dinasours,it’s instinct taking over me

And with dinasours comes the best boy I can be

Letters may be wrong, spelling’s off the wall

But I’m so carnivoral , sniffing air up here where I’m so tall

And I scream mooommeeeh,it's my inner dinasour

And I hug mooommeh, just can't sleep at this hour

And then comes mooommeeeh and it all fades away

Cause just with moooomeeeh black nights will become gray

:roftl: That is amazing. I regret the thing about eating my hat - if he sings this, I will die a very happy lady :lmao:

  5. He's almost 30! *faints* hahaha

I can wait 'til September, i'm sure it'll worth it

At least the new album is out this year... not the next one

I don't know you but i'm getting excited

He's not almost 30, cause that would mean I'm almost 20, and I don't really want to be 20 yet. So no, he's not :naughty:

    Finally some solid news!:naughty:

I'd hardly call it 'solid' :naughty:

sorry everyone but it isn´t that long time since we got the PDP dvd...

so cant we just enjoy the PDP and dont worry about when the next CD comes out... :wink2:

I hate to say it by PDP wasn't really anything that new. It had two songs, one being a cover, that we'd all heard agesss ago, and an interview that we hadn't seen before...

Ah well.... it's gonna take a while to make a masterpiece like Rain sound the least bit appealing, take your time dear, take your time :mf_rosetinted:

That just had to be quoted :roftl:

Anyway, though at first I was like 'OMG September? This annot be serious!!! Grr!' I've thought about and that makes sense. He said about the acoustic tour before the album, which would make it a summer tour. He enjoys tying things up with string, throwing them at us and then everytime we close pulling it further away, if you catch my drift. As was mentioned before, we'd get a single a couple of months beforehand (it had better be a new song that none of us have heard before for his sake...) plus once you've finished the songs and stuff, which he's supposedly in the final parts of doing it takes months for it to be edited and all that crap, and he likes dragging things out, so September's about right.

Plus, there are bands and artists who release albums every year, and I can't help but think that they're giving expectations. If one year they just run out of ideas, fans get annoyed when there an extra wait so if Mika makes his wait longer, he's better off in the long run. I think that anyway.

And, M4L, you need your eyes tested :bleh:

  6. I forgot to post this when I first saw it, and have kept saying I would. But now I can't find the paper, but I remember the article well.

It was in the News of the World the weekend before last, in the music gossip section, in a little square in the corner.

Basically, it said something along the lines of

'Good news if your a Mika fan, like me. Mika's finally back in the studio, in LA, working on the 2nd album! We can expect it on the shelves in September.'

I think it was a little bit longer than that, but that was the important stuff. I remember thinking 'He's been in the studio for weeks!' and then 'September?!'

But it's the very first, unproven rough date. Even if it is later than I expected :thumb_yello:

  7. A little booklet, like Live In Cartoon Motion?

Cause I might have sneaked a looked at it before Christmas... :blush-anim-cl: And it doesn't have one. I knew I was getting it - I accidently saw it on my own eBay accout (my mum got her's deleted and has been using mine, stupidly...) and it said rare promo. TBH, it looks like they've made the cover themselves. The disc looks right but... :boxed:

So, yeah, help would be appreciated :thumb_yello:
