  1. Hey is anyone here from Vancouver? I've never been out of Australia in my life... but in just over a week I'm leaving for Vancouver for an International Choral Festival. I'm so excited!!!

Does anyone know what the weather is like there? I cannot handle cold at all!!! :roftl:

It's summer there at the moment though, isn't it!!

    SOOOOO EXCITED!!!

Sorry to intrude on your thread...

You're not intruding! This is the Canadian thread. We take everyone.:biggrin2:

  2.

He demonstrates every day that he can be anything we like. Like 'Say what you want, I'll be it for you:

Nice, hot, giggly, thoughtful, modest, topless, serious, spontaneous, gay, not gay, post-gay, a singer, a painter, a teaser, a storyteller, a stripper, a little boy, an agony aunt, your Winnie the Pooh.'

    (current state of identities: :mf_rosetinted::blush-anim-cl::argue:)

Your Winnie the Pooh comment makes me think of the Tao of Pooh, which I read about a year ago. Here's a direct quote from the book:

When you discard arrogance, complexity, and a few, other things that get in the way, sooner or later you will discover that simple, childlike, and mysterious secret known to those of the Uncarved Block: Life is Fun.

In the book, Benjamin Hoff says that Winnie the Pooh is P'u, the Uncarved Block. Personally, I think some of this rings true for Mika as well.

It's not that construction worker who's Winnie the Pooh; It's Mika! :biggrin2:

    He's our Uncarved Block.:wink2:

  3. My Mika Wall is looking pretty pathetic at the moment. I can't find any magazines with him in them, and I have to wait til July to get OUT, because it won't be coming in until then.

When it looks a little less sad then I'll take a picture of it.

  4. i knew you would be vegitarian just to make me look stupid and insenitive! my best friend is a vegitarian too...

No, no, don't worry! You didn't offend me or anything like that. You can mention meat all you want. Stuff like that doesn't bother me.:biggrin2:

There's nothing worse than someone laying a guilt-trip on you because you eat a certain food.

  5. I did the first part of my Math exam today, and I'm doing the second part on Monday. After that, I'll be finished with Math for the rest of my life. Yays!:biggrin2:

I have two exams on Thursday. English and World Religions. I'm glad they're so early on in the exam schedule, because I hate having to sit around and "study" for 5 days.
