  1. my room! it's orange and it really is mika-fied. i will take a picture later ( its not quite finished) but i live in an attick and theres this staircase in the middle so i've painted the sloping wall with the LiCM type pattern (sort of customized in my own style). And i have a lollipop wall. since i wasa kid everyone has been buyhing me huge lollipops that i stick on my wall like trophies. the largest one is about two feet across. Then there's my style. it isn't mika-like, but is similar (and my OWN!) I usually wear purple skinnies and a tail - varied. orange usually, but sometimes my multicoloured tiger tail. i have many. i like to sew animal ears and brightly coloured things to my clothes - anyone who met me at brixton will know what i'm talking about! so thats my mika-style things? I think....

  2. When'll you give us our Pavlova back then?

When it's made in China and has to be called back for unsafe amounts of (insert smart sounding bad thing here)?

    :D:D:D:D

lolliepop_girl! you live in my home town! woot! another kiwi!

  3. i think it must have been really really bad or Mika would not have cancelled the last two days of such a brilliant UK tour.

He just overdid it, he has just been on the road for almost two months, rushing from country to country, giving all, exhausting himself and his voice, doing what he loves best, being on stage and connecting with us, after each show he came out into the cold and wet to see and meet the waiting fans and to chat...poor Mika..

He probably thought he could hold out , but then the throat got the better of him and now he is desperately in need to save himself and his throat..

I do so hope there will be no permanent damage to his vocal chords, he now hopefully can rest it properly and listen to the specialists and take their recommendations on board.

Of course we are sad not being able to see him today and /or tomorrow, but I don't think there will be anybody who will not understand...I for one am only thinking of Mika here and the rest of the band, that they recover fully....

and for me then there is now another date to look forward to , and it is already paid for!!! .. and .. it might be warmer for us in the queues too !!!!

    L O N G L I V E M I K A !!! G E T W E L L S O O N !!!

yeah, and look on the bright side....warmer weather means a higher chgance that he'll take his top off...and keep it off!

  5. Guys

We are really sorry but MIKA has had to postpone his show tonight at Hammersmith Apollo as well as tomorrow's at Brixton Academy. Please see the following statement from MIKA which explains the reasons why:

"It is with much regret that I have been forced to postpone my two remaining shows on my UK tour on 3 and 4 December at Hammersmith Apollo and Brixton Academy respectively. Over the past few days I have been fighting off a virus that has affected the majority of my band and crew. I thought after last night's performance I could do the shows but this morning it was obvious I could not proceed. After consulting a specialist, I have been advised to rest my voice for a minimum of 48 hours. If I did not do this I would risk long term damage to my vocal chords. I can only apologise to everyone who has bought a ticket and the inconvenience and disappointment this postponement has caused. We are looking at rescheduling these dates early in the New Year; as soon as we have I will let you all know. Thank you all for your continued support and understanding."

    MIKA

Following the announcement that tonights and tomorrow's gigs at Hammersmith and Brixton respectively have had to be cancelled due to MIKA's ill-health we can now reveal the rescheduled dates.

The Hammersmith Apollo show will now take place on February 25th, and the Brixton Academy show will now take place on February 26th.

All ticket holders for the postponed show can swap tickets for their respective shows, or get a full refund.

Once again, many apologies for the inconvenience that this has caused.

poor mika! at least he explained himself...and FULL REFUND. MORE THEN AMY WINEHOUSE HAD TO OFFER!
