  1. I've been trying to decide if I should see it.

I saw him live in 1997 and it is such an amazing memory that i don't want a "lesser" performance to taint that. That's the reason I didn't buy tickets for the new tour...

    I'm so torn.

Waiting until I start work at HMV next week before I buy the album! Lol!

  2. Hey guys,

I know a few of us have moaned on twitter but I wanted to make a thread to see how much support (if that is the right word) there is to encourage MS to stock ladies T-shirts in larger sizes.

The "large" ladies T-shirts are a size 12-14 (UK). I'm a size 16-18ish and I don't consider myself to be huge! I'm sure there are lots of "Big Girls" on here that will encounter the same problem.

I know we can order the men's shirts but it would be nice to be able to order a more fitted cut, I hate wearing shapless T-shirts because it just makes me look bigger!

So basically... if you're a "Big Girl" would feels that they should have the option to buy a ladies shirt please add your name!

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet but I'd like to get an idea of how many people this effects.

  3. Finally got my confirmation email yesterday, was starting to get really worried! Even tho they assured me several times thro email that I definatley had tickets! Lol, they were so patient with me!

I'm REALLY excited about this gig! God help my new colleges at HMV because it's all I'm oing to be talking about!

  4. Ohhhh are you doing both the London ones now? :biggrin2:

I'll have a look into Travelodges etc but we can decide on something when everyone knows what they're doing. :thumb_yello:

It's highly likely, I mean if I'm already there... Hehehe but not in the position to buy a ticket for at least a few weeks so can't say for certain yet. But if it turns out I can't I'll still cover my contribution to the room if I can't be replaced.

  5. OMGGGGGGGGG. NOOOOOOOO.

    *sets alarm for tomorrow*

How ridiculous. I guess that's even MORE time I'm missing. WHOOPS.

EDIT: Oh and if anyone needs to share on the second night (not the first, I'm going back to Essex) then I'm up for that. Makes it so much easier to get my train home at stupid o'clock in the morning. (AKA 7.35)

I'm not certain yet but I'm likely to need a room for the second night, I'm with Laurel for the first night at Battersea TL. I can provide transport home for anyone north of London (but below Lancaster) on the 2nd.

Mika will now play a sensational second show at the Hammersmith Apollo on Monday March 1st.

  7. Having been to a couple of events at the RAH I'm guessing a £50 standing ticket would buy you a spot right at the very top (in nose bleed city) where the arches are in this photo...

To give you more of any idea of how high it is up there...

    RAH1.jpg

Also guessing that the £85 Arena floor standing will be at the front - like at this Muse gig...

I know it's for a wonderful cause but £625 for a Loggia box seat - WOW  They do offer a good view (have sat there myself) but £625 *gulp*

Good luck to all you guys that have applied, but unfortunately £170 for 2 'decent' tickets is a 'no' for me.

Thanks for the info, that's really great. Looks amazing and I'm sure it will be a night to remember. Paolo Nutini and Mika in one night? So upset I can't go but even if I only got a £50 ticket I've got to add travel and accomdation to that, plus I'm in London again just a week after for LND. Oh well.
