Okay, had to post on here before gonig to bed, even though I am a little (read: absolutely!) drunk!

 

Have just been to an awards dinner which 3 of my stores were finalists in. Althougth none of them won (man, how many times have I had to correct my typing already!) we hd a great night. The wine was ****, but at 10pm they opened the bar and started doing cocktails ( a mixture of vodka, lemon juice, rose petals, and god knows what else!) After about 15 of these (no joke!) our table was in quite a good mood!

 

We had a Beatles tribute band (okay) a Rolling Stones tribute band (okay) and then a DJ (awesome!!!!) Why?? Cause I asked hime if he was going to play Mika (he only had an hour set and this was halfway through it) and he said maybe. Next thing I knew he grabbed my hand, and the franchisee I was dancing with (poor thing!) and dragged us up on stage. Next second LT came on and I was jumping around like a mad woman! Did my best Mika impersonation (with stupid random guys standing behind me trying to dance with me ) and did pretty well for someone bwearing ridiculously high shoes and a ridiculousy tight dress: Mika- you try and do better! Dripping with sweat and out of breath by the end of it but it will keep me happy until a tour is announced (tomorrow please ) The people who were with me from my stores already knew my obssession, now they have it confirmed (even with photos of me doing the 'love, love" action!)

 

Drunken story over, although I don't know how I am going to sleep as someone was adding red bull into all of my cocktails (think I have drunken about 3 cans ) and Bailey starts pre-primary tomorrow so I have to be looking all motherly at 830am (not gonna happen!)

hahaha sounds like some of the nites ive had at work functions, in fact sounds exactly like the only fun bit from my work xmas party last yr (when the dj played mika for me , also did"love love me "actions)

we need to get drunk together i think

nah not so silly, once i moved to wagga, and now albury i realise any of the dance schools i went to when i was little were NOTHING, the training i was gettin at 16 i shoulda been getting from 5, oh well im not bitter

well in yr 10 i got told i "didnt have the right look" to try out for chicago (riverina theatre company in wagga was doing a version of it) i stopped caring, and now i seem to spend more time laughing at myself mucking up then trying to get the dance right

oh a girl just got in and they are playing "happy ending"

oh not that i know of yet, ive been dancing since i was 5 and ive done a lot of competitions and met a STACK of ppl ( ive also moved like 4 times) and i am just certain that ill see at least one person i know. one of my teachers was the "australian rock n roll lift champion" and some girls who i danced with in high school were australian aerobic champions, ( i was never any of these things) but the chances of recognising someone seem high

I love these songs lol, I feel like dancing stupidly (but my brother is home ), in a different way to Mika, a more Luna-esque style.

From my knowledge, the referrals on here are not a bad thing. I have one, and I got it after a friend of mine joined for a few weeks, and put my name down as being the one who referred her to the sight.

 

 

When you sign up, you have the option to name someone who directed or referred you to the sight, and that person gets a referral because of it

 

 

Or at least thats how I think it works

for me a referral is when you have a job and they ask you for referrals to see if you were a good worker and stuuff

or when you have gone to a doctor and they refer you to a specialist

i think its when you do somehting wrong and they kind of give you the "dark mark" i heard that if you have more than 3 you get expelled or soemthing

oh, well it really is weird they call it a referral

i dont even know what a "referral" is ??????
