oh well my next question was "whats the most difficult order u get"

so im only up to page 73 but me and my boi just came from maccas and it always ends in an argument when he embarasses me by ordering a "mc awesome" a large sunday with caramel on the bottom and chocolate on the top with m and m's and a flake, a they stuff it up and he argues bout the price and i leave the store.

on the way home he said "theres much worse customers than me, what about someone asking for a big mac made out of chicken patties ,so then we got into this big discussion bout how that would be horrible, what would the poor girls put it through as ( 1 bic mac and 1 mc chicken, 2 mc chickens) etc and coz i made the mistake of saying itd taste awesome he vowed to order it next time, then i come on here and read that other ppl order it.

the following are all the reasons why today sucked!

1. i cant get my bedroom to be any cooler than 31.5 degrees at the moment , i can handle it as high as 28 degrees all nite but that few extra degrees makes it yukky. so bad nites sleep for me

2. i used to always look forward to fridays coz id get to work with my friend bri who only worked fri, sat, sun so friday would be the first day of the wk id get to work with her...but she moved to sydney at start of yr, and now it sux! and she sux!

3. all the sutpid old bags hate me coz i get more responsibility than them and coz the bosses like me, and everytime i looked up they were whispering bout me

4. i work in a great big bloody shed with coolrooms and an open shop front with some form of aircon(if u could call it that)

5. our cooling was working so hard today it blew a fuse and all but 3 register died and the eftpos died, and i had to do eftpos with the manual ching ching machine

6. when the fuse blew we had to power the shop with a generator, so not everything worked, food had to be taken and put in coolrooms that werent actually cooling in the hope it would stay cold enough, the milk fridge had a "cooling" temp of 17.5 degrees(which really means we will be throwing all the milk out 2moz ) and the back fridge that holds the fancy stuff like herbs shouldnt get over 12 degrees and it was 27 degrees

7. i gotta go and suffer the hate all day tomorrow and sunday blurgh

I have too many things going on at the moment.

 

Trying to get a job, starting a new semester at school, trying to pass a test so I can get into a particular class so I can transfer to the school of my dreams after this semester, going to a Mika concert, trying to convince someone's parents that she should come with me to the Mika concert, a trip to London in March, trying to save money for the trip in March, applying for housing at the college that I don't even know if I can attend yet, taking care of the little brother, who's teenage life is apparently falling apart right now, trying to keep my own relationship going at this point, even though if I get to go to the college I want, it will mean a long distance relationship that he doesn't want, worrying that I'll miss my classes tomorrow because of a job orientation and if I miss the first day of class, I'll be kicked out and then I REALLY can't go to the college I want, AND my skin won't stop breaking out.

 

*whew*

 

And now a friend just called crying about her boyfriend, so I have to go. Thank you for the listening ear, I hope you have a better time sleeping tonight. Goodnight.

long distance relationships can work,ppl usually say they dont work coz they seen it on tv, me and my boi had 1200 kms between us for 12 months and we are still together

The reason we were doing it now, is because another Aussie asked via the comments about it, so it was brought up by them, not us.

 

Also, as for the comments, he was probably expecting such a thing eventually. Its not nearly as bad as the hate Mika fangroups out there, just a bunch of aussies expressing their disappointment. We have every right to be disgruntled when we want to be, and the fact is, it does seem like Australia is low on his list of priorities.

Most of us were just saying we were disappointed, or that we don't approve of being blown off for a new album. It means we are his fans, and we wanted to see him, we paid to see him at a mere festival and we were let down. (That and I also bitched at how full his page is, and honestly, it has gotten to the stage where I don't bother checking unless I have some reason, because its too full, so takes too long to load, if it doesnt crash internet explorer)

 

Also, it is highly suspected that Mika doesn't run his myspace, but that someone in his franchise does. So Mika may not even read the comments,heck, the person running the page may not even read the comments. What does it matter in the end, if they do. So they see we were dissapointed, all they had to do was log on here during any of the cancellations that have occured and see the same thing.

 

 

But Mika, if he even reads the comments, will not judge an entire country by what we said, and I doubt very much his attitude to Australia will change. He may not even judge us, because, by cancelling, he has to expect fans who were willing to pay so much for that mere 15 minute slot to be disappointed. Supporting him does not mean we give up our right to criticise him when we feel disappointed in him.

Oh man, wish i got paid for work experience! We dont get it even if it is over summer Im doing nursing at uni and we get stuck doing most of the hard and gross stuff and dont get paid a cent!

sometime u need the unpaid work experience to get ya foot in the door when it comes time to look for work, i know thats the only way to get a beauty therapy job in this town

oh yeh i mean every yr it gets worse, its really just an obsession to watch it ad bag the crap outta it, and then watch uk bb on you tube and put **** on aussie bb when they copy the uk

Hey I didn't know I should be blaming the writer's strike either. Apart from the fact that Heroes isn't on Channel 10, I would have been saying the same thing cos Channel 10 seem to have a talent for stuffing their viewers around. I do think they have the best shows, but they jerk us around and it annoys me. I remember all the times that BB ran overtime into Supernatural time - that used to p!ss me off. And then they seriously mucked around the time of Torchwood.... I've actually stopped watching a lot of shows I used to love, cos I just can't be bothered with Channel 10.

there are days where they advertise something after the show has already been on, or they advertise something then put something completely different on, usually the simpsons, i always say "oh channel ten is hitting shuffle again" mind u i still mostly only watch channel ten....big brother was my first obsession!!

the show im annoyed at for being canned has nothing to do with the writers strike........veronica mars, my bro got me the first season on dvd for xmas i gotta force myself to turn it off every nite, i forgot how good it was, i get so cranky when he tells me they canned it after season 3. Apparently the writer even suggested they have the next season based in the future when veronica is working for the fbi..that woulda been soooooo cool. Why do they can all the good shows!

oh SD i also miss house didnt realise the writers thing was the reason it wasnt on i just thought it was channel ten being...channel ten

Wow, I took all that time reading the rest of the thread and still no-one posted. You're not here!! Well, I just want to share that I feel like sh*te atm, cos I said goodbye tonight to friends who are moving to Sydney and I'm going to miss them soooo much. My face is all swollen from crying so much (not a good look). The thing that makes me so sad is that no matter how much I try to stay in touch, there is stuff I'm going to miss out on from their lives and no matter the fact that you still get to see them sometimes, people move on and people change. I HATE THAT!!!! It hurts a lot atm. Anyway..... need to run up to the shops (some of Australia has later shopping than others, but some of it's only for grocery stores).....

i hear what your saying, ive moved 3 times in the last 7 yrs and my bf is in the army so ill move again every couple of yrs, and one girl id became friends with here has just moved to sydney and i told her something similar to what you said , when i moved to albury i was excited bout being back near my friends from wagga, but even tho i had only been gone a yr, everything had changed. I was telling her this so she doesnt freak out and want to move straight back to wodonga everytime she talks to her friends from here (coz shes very sad at the moment being in syd all alone)

Wow- shops in Perth aren't allowed to even open on a Sunday, unless they are in the CBD. It's so dumb that places like Ikea can't even trade then, and the only time the shops are open late is on thurs till 9pm.

oh how i wish i lived there, as ive worked in retail since i was 14 i cant think of anything better than if all the shops closed on a sunday and it was declared "family day" so ppl could have a life at the same time as everyone else

So other shops aren't open on Sundays? Weird. I live between Rockingham and Mandurah ... almost exactly (Secret Harbour, btw), so their the only shops I go to really. It's kind of annoying though, all my friends work at the shops (whilst I am job-less) so it takes away my "one day a week none of my friends are working, so we can do things together" day. Oh well, the trusty internet will be my friend

In 2003 I was going to HMV in the city to buy a Kylie vinyl from there and on the way, there was an Angus & Robertson bookstore and some instore was going on outside it, turned out it was Stephen Fry!
