  1. Hi..Yeah, it's great here! Love it. I've been here almost 10 years now and I can't think of a better place....except maybe, um...LONDON!! It's on my places to see list.

Hi Charlotte and Mercurygirl! I'm glad you like my essay, it took me 47 minutes! Actually I got those particular wings yesterday, and I love the fluffyness! I do have about 5 pairs! I have purple ones that are almost as big as me and my tutor at college said they are a safety hazard!

Also Charlotte, it is cool that you live in California! That is one of those places I would love to go if I had time!

I do hope I can post more often xxx

  2. My parents did it as a date night. They would drop my friends and me off at the arena and then, they would go out to eat. Two hours later, they would pick us up. Gee, I've been going to concerts my whole life. Hmmm, guess one never truely grows up.

Of course, when my parents didn't feel like date night, it was Mom that took me and she would go to the concert herself. LOL

Well, I think I'm going to head for bed. Hope you have a great night. Take care.

That's pretty awesome! My dad would do that, my mom wouldn't...

Ooh! He does?! I'll have to see about getting that...I love Christmas music, it always makes me so happy!:biggrin2:

  3. Awe, I remember how that felt about parents needing to take you. I was a pretty lucky kid; however, I didn't know it at the time. When I was a teenager, I lived in Mississippi where nothing happened at all. The closest city was Memphis (70 miles) and my parents had to take me there for every concert and thank goodness they did. I didn't appreciate it as much at the time..but, I remember they took me too a KISS concert. LOL!! I don't know too many parents who would take their kid to that and let them in front row. LOL!

Yes, Josh is amazing. Did you know he has a new Christmas CD out? I love it.

aww...i can imagine how that will feel...

    josh groban is amazing...:biggrin2:

I rarely go to concerts since I'd have to go 2+ hours to get anywhere, and my parents aren't willing to do that all the time...

  4. No way! That's soooo not fair. Well, I bet you'll see him next time he comes here. I really do hope it will be soon because I'm fearing the Post Concert Depression next month. LOL! Josh Groban isn't even playing...I don't know who can fill in when they aren't playing. LOL

i was living in wisconsin at those dates, and we drove out here on the day he went to chicago....so i always missed him:thumbdown: ...
  5. Awe, that would be so cool!! This will be my first time seeing him. I didn't know who he was when he did all those CA dates a few months back. I'm always a little too late. LOL!!

That would be great for all of us to meet up. Um, am I the only Olding in the California thread? All of you are soooo young. Well, I act like a teenager, so I guess it really doesn't matter. LOL:biggrin2:

you are sooooo lucky!!! I wish i could fly there and go see him!!! I soooo completely would if i could!!!!!!

    HAVE FUN!!!!

    me too...*grumbles*

i have unfortunately not seen him yet...i will though...

I can't wait until he comes back to CA...we all have to meet up at the concert!:thumb_yello:

  6. LOL!! Yeah, I decided that I couldn't wait..I'm going to Glasgow. It was driving me crazy! :biggrin2: In less than one month, I'll be seeing Mika. Now watch, he'll come here in December. LOL!! That would be my luck. But, I'll go again and again. :biggrin2:

ooohhhoohohohohoohhoo you have nooo idea how much i agree with you. He has to come here RIGHT THIS SECOND!!!! Gggrrr!!

Hey guys have you heard of the staph infection thing spreading? I hope i dont get it!!!! My school just sent us emails about it, and they disinfected everything (bathrooms, lockers, classrooms etc.)

Dont share any drinks or food with people. and no physical contact when you have open sores or any open wounds that arent healing. o and wash your hands!!! (but seriously, who doesnt?)

    but we'll be fine ;)

    wats up guys?

  7. :biggrin2::naughty::biggrin2::naughty::biggrin2: Yep, me too..... Only to Glasgow to see him for the first time. And, I decided I'll look for a new job only after the Glasgow gig. Too funny!

Everytime I hear him sing "How much do you love me, how much do you care?"

I just wanna shout: "This much" with my arms wide open.

    Or

"So much, that I booked a flight to London so I can fly out just to see you perform again. And on top of that - negotiated with a new company that just hired me that they accept my already booked vacation to London as part of the deal with my salary!"

This is how much. I'm nuts and I love it! :mf_lustslow:

  8. Awe, I love that moment too. He looks so flattered by that scream. Love it!

    :mf_lustslow: LOVE THE NEW SONG!!!!!!!:mf_lustslow:

Couldn't listen to it at work today and saw the post and was ready to get home to see it. Great song. Love it when someone in the audience screams and he has a little bit of a smile. Would love to have it on my ipod.

    Love Love:wub2: :wub2:

    Meyer Twins

  9. Hey Deb,

I just looked too. It's so depressing...the US doesn't know what it's missing. Although, I am spreading the MIKA across other boards. LOL!!

I'm always so happy when I read this thread with the UK figures... it

motivates me to go look on the US charts...

And then I get depressed :(

No MIKA at all in the Billboard Hot 100 Singles, no LiCM on the Billboard

    Top 200 Albums...

    *sigh*

    Oh well.

    dcdeb

  10. Hey Everyone. I can't get enough of the new song. Who hooo. This tickled me...Now, we'll have MIKARAOKE at the shows. :biggrin2:

I'm thinkin to corrupt the lights engineer and give him the lric to show in the wall behind MIKA:naughty: *surprise surprise all the public will sing it..:biggrin2:!*
  11. Only the best taste in music. Hmm..that even includes Josh..huh? Yeah, Glasgow will be my first Mika concert...I can't beleive that I'm going to be doing it. It feels like a dream right now. LOL

I know, I know. We have great taste in music don't we. :wink2::naughty:

You are soooo lucky to be going to Glasgow. *sigh*

  12. A couple of my favorite Christian bands are Newsong and Third Day. Also, one of my favorite Christian movies is Joshua. If you've never seen it, you have to. It's wonderful. Third Day even makes an appearance in it.

Hope everyone is doing well today. :biggrin2:

  13. Good Morning,

How is your trip going? I bet you just can't wait to head to London, huh? I so wish I could stay longer and do a few concerts. But, Thanksgiving in Vegas when I get back and then heading off to Tahiti..all within a few days of each other. This will be so insane but I'm looking forward to it. I'm so glad I decided to do Scotland because once I'm in Tahiti (doing nothing), I'll be able to look back at the Scotland trip. I'm so excited. I'm sure I'll still be on my afterglow. :blush-anim-cl:

U WILL HAVE SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!
