Hi to you and your sister,
It's hot, Hot, HOT here in DC. (When you're hot, your hot;
when you're not you're not, eh?)
Finally took my brother's walking tour of monuments last week.
FUN & informative! When you visit again, try to catch it!
My niece (living in TEXAS) got a dog & is moving from an apartment to a house soon. She and her dog "TEX" are visiting DC for 'bout a month while her husband is stationed some gawd-forsaken place . . .
We helped her celebrate their one year anniversary by having some of her wedding cake with ice cream &
oh, "TEX" lost his "boy balls" the same day BreakfastTheCat lost his!
How was your NYC adventure after you passed through DC?
Have any plans to come my way again?

OK KETI. My power was off 'cause of huge snow storm where I live, but I'm back in business now, so will do.

Well,
*knowing the dif between EAST & WEST is important;
*if you choose wisely, your hotel will supply complimentary
afternoon wine/coffee in the morning;
& on the day of his performance, the Wall Street Journal
featured an article about MIKA,
*taxi drivers, with few exceptions, drive like lunatics, BUT
ALL folks on street asked for directions, with no exceptions,
could not be more friendly & helpful;
*the restaurant at the MET is surprisingly good, but pricey
& the MET really wants you to LEAVE quickly when the
performance is over;
*it's a pretty long, but interesting, walk from 70 Park Avenue
to the Lincoln Center
& one can find facial glitter in a drug store easily . . .
