  1. Hi there beautiful people,

Just like everybody else I watched all the youtube movies of this concert. I made a collection of it and thanks to bienie22, biekjuh, lindemfc, demiheid, sansjol and myself you will find all songs I collected in this file. It's not the best quality, just an impression of that concert.

    Enjoy it! :thumb_yello:

  2. Finally got some time to write my story of the concert. It was really great. I loved the new songs and I really loved the the old songs in the new versions. Very unique.:thumb_yello:

Some people totally on the left side couldn't see Mika, so they stood in stead of sit down. He said he was sorry, but luckily enough he walked around the stage some times, altough there was not very much space left. It was so small, that the band was almost sitting on the the first rows lap. Most of the people sat during the first few songs, but after a little time nobody wouldn't sit down anymore and had to stand up and dance. Accoustic concert doesn't mean it's al soft and slow. IT ROCKS :punk:. It rocked so good and everybody jumped so high that the whole floor was really moving. It was hard for me to stand still and make steady pictures. Not just the audience, but also the band was really wild on stage. The lovely Cherise is hitting the drums so hard, a wonder that her drums stay up. The bass player was gliding on his chair on stage:pbjt:, running to the pianolike thingy and back and then to the garbage bins. Martin is rocking a lot, but the moving is mostly his fingers. And then the singer in suit (I think his name is Alexander, just like me)....... well he claps :clap:on the beat you know. A quiet shy guy, but a good educated singer. And of course I don't have to tell you Mika is moving, jumping on stage and on his piano seat all the time. It's a good band, that's what it is: :band:

After the show we went outside the artist entrance (and exit :-) ). He must come out some time. After 1 hour waiting in the cold, without a jacket (because the weather was good all day, but a little above 10 degrees Celsius in the evening) there the band was. Mika came out last and saw a line of people of about 100 meters, while at the time the rest of the band jumped into the cars. Mika took all the time to sign everybody's stuff and receiving all the presents he got. In the meantime the rest of the band came out of the cars again and chatting with with everybody, and taking pictures. After more than 30 minutes the band left and it was time for us to go home. For some reason Martin came back at the concertgebouw. When we got our car he was walking the pavement. I offered him a ride, but he said it was okay and he would take a midnight walk. A very nice guy by the way and a good gitarist.:thumb_yello:

Well I did take a lot of pictures and here the are. These are all the pictures from the MFC diner, THE concert and afterwards at the exit when the band came out. I didn't make a selection. Some are beautiful, some are moved (I told you about the jumping :biggrin2:). Just do what you wanna do with it: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OADSRDLJ

  4. For those who doesn't know, Paul is doing a free concert in Québec City, Canada for the city's 400th birthday!

And Claudine, sunshine931 and I are going :punk: It'll be epic! I can't wait! I never saw him live!!!!

Will do a report on monday! :thumb_yello:

Well tell us all about it!!!

There was someone who made a joke and said the concert was aired. A guy taped it from the radio, had to stay awake till 3:30 am, one mp3 of 342 MB, 2,5 hour was put on the dutch beatles fanclub site. I downloaded it and than listening..........................

    :band:

    It was Paul McCartney.

    It was a radio broadcast.

    It was good quality.

    It wasn't the Quebec concert.

    Tracklist:

    1. Long and winding road

    2. Got to get you into my life

    3. Fixing a hole

    4. Helter skelter :punk:

    .....

    Too many people/bathroom window.

    .....

Got to get you into my life

    ...

    Freedom

    ...

    My love (last song)

It's a nice compilation (1989,2002,2005,2007), but certainly not Quebec.

Hope to find the real concert on the internet. So if anybody finds a link, please let me know.

  5. Thanks, we'll buy paint tonight and alexander can get busy.......as i'm with you guys tonight:thumb_yello:

Yes, I will be blue tonight...... :(

    And orange and green.....

    :biggrin2:

Hi there lovely oldlings. Just came here for a few minutes :bye:

  6. Hi I'm new here, so let's introduce myself briefly: :wink2:

Alexander Wijmans from the Netherlands, 35 years old, married to Monique :chkn: (Miek@MFC), have a son Micha, work in IT (AIX@Sogeti)

I'm a beatles fan since I was 12 years old, but it actually started in 1977 when I was 4 years old. I saw that beautiful song 'Mull of Kintyre' :scot: on tv when it hit the number 1 position in the charts. Next week I wanted to see the charts again to see the clip again. After a weeks the clip wasn't shown anymore. I really didn't understand why. Now I know clips can't allways stay at the number one position. But when I was 4 I thought different about that.

When somebody asks me what my fab beatles song :band: is I say Mull of Kintyre or Twist and shout because it started with those songs at the age of 4 and/or 12. But actually I really don't have 1 favorite song, there are so many. It depends from day to day.

I hope to be in the blue meanie  list in a short while.

    All the best,

  7. so finally someone is here!!! ...oh wait...nope not really here...people should stop being here when thery're really not  Stop making a girl happy with nothing:naughty:

Hi my love, :snog: I'm here too sometimes. At least I'm logged in. And reading sometimes.

    poster 3 euro!

Look at me. I'm writing so many messages, getting allmost 20!

  8. one week ago we were all in hamjam, time flies the way everyone is still buzzing from it

It still keeps me busy. I was looking for mp3's, but can't find anything. I want to hear it again and again. youtube isn't very good sound quality, nice to see though.

Instead of Hamsterjam I listen to a radiobroadcasted concert of Dublin 7-7-07. :punk: You can find it at:

    or

Only 9 songs, but it's good quality live recording. :dance_man:

    Enjoy.

  9. Bed-rest :sleep_1::sneaky2:

My shoulder is a star now!!!! :blush-anim-cl:

Thanks Alexander - that is pain and pleasure on my face!!!! :roftl:

Hope work is not too bad!!

Work is boring, reading about 150 emails. I was away for a week, others took over some of my work, and now I have even more work..... Now I have to correct all their mistakes. I don't mind. Just work 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. At the end of the day I just go home. Tomorrow is antorher day :thumb_yello: Just stays relax :fisch:

  10. We waited behind, in the torrential rain - and Kath and I stayed because we were waiting for our lift home - then we were all called inside a tent

at the back of the place - and he did a quick (almost an hour) meet

    and greet!!! :blush-anim-cl:

Hi Wendi, you are so lucky meeting him again! Miek and I were to tired to be any longer in the busy crowd.
