Well done! I love the layout of the site...very nicely put together with the picture pop up and the multi language...it's absolutely brilliant.

This thread is hilarious. I love how much random stuff I am finding looking through this site. The Mikanictionary reminds me of the made up language in clockwork orange. We're all just a bunch of droogs for Mika. I'm gonna have to make a mini-book for myself! *continues to read while laughing her little butt off* Ha who am I kidding...it's not that little.

That would be funny....Mika was furious at a lollipop girl as she appeared to be stealing the spotlight. He snatched the oversized lollipop right from the child's hand and proceeded to beat her with the 10 lb. candy. haha....it's so funny. Keep the shiny image up Mika....you'll get some original stories about you that's for sure. But of course, if it's about Mika...it has to be overwhelmingly entertaining right!?

All you mainland folk *shakes fist* Counting down to see Mika...haha I envy you...wait..that's a deadly sin isn't it...hmmmm but so is lust and that comes to mind when I think of Mika as well. I'm going to have to start banking money now so in 10 years when Mika comes somewhere close by I can make the road trip to see him! haha As a Newfoundlander I accept that no artist will come here. It's not worth it for them in a business sense but the island is beautiful! No matter where you go on the island it'll remind you of a place in Canada. Our physical geography is odd like that. Sooooooooooo any other east east coasters here?

I'm loving the cooking conversations...I can cook...eggs and...soup. You guys are adorable. I can cook like a fiend but you give me something to bake and I'm useless. I can;t follow a recipe to save my life...and even that cake mix that comes in a box I mess up. I have a feeling I'm going to love this place. Hopefully I can pull myself away sooner or later to make some supper though! *tries to stand up but can't get fingers away from key...board...*

I was talking about your banner that you have attached. I think it's the most adorable set of Mika pictures I've seen...although there aren't many pictures that aren't brilliant! I haven't done too much obsessing over finding pictures of him yet though...I'm holding that off because it makes me feel like I'm 13 again...haha and then I get all depressed because I'll never take any pictures of him live....*crosses fingers* I have to think positive...I think I can I think I can. Oh no...I'm rambling. Ashton is my name actually, I just use Ashtea as every screen name imaginable I got into the habit once I left high school years ago because I didn't particularly like my home town..actually I hated it. I'm going out on a limb here...I was gonna bring hummus before I realized pictures of hummus look disgusting! So instead I brought some green tea ice cream (it's soy) *attempts to add image, becoming somewhat self-conscious because she's slightly inept*

I love that uneasy feeling right before the interview...did I arrive early enough...too late? And then once the interview starts it's just chat chat chat chat chat. I love people... The job interview was fantastic...I love making the interviewer laugh....it's essential! It's an events coordinator position...I heart making things! It's hard to focus on work when I have billy brown blaring in the background. I'm already starting to get comfortable. Some Newfoundlanders get irritated when people go "do you know such and such from Newfoundland" because they shouldn't be expected to know them (cuz the island isn't all that small even though it only has 500,000 people in total). But the fact of the matter is...they probably do, or at least have some connection. Kinda like six degrees of kevin bacon..but there are only 2 degrees usually! DO you know what I'm talking about....sometimes I ramble..thinking I make complete sense..because I'm awesome. And then when I edit I realize I'm actually sound like i'm intoxicated. :oP Anyway....hello again! Hey guys. This forum is great. I am part of mikasounds forum but right now I'm using a bad computer and the forum is so difficult to load! This is the second time I have ever joined a fanclub forum. I love this man's music. So much that I need to find people to talk to about it! The only other man to bewitch my mind as quickly and completely was Hawksley Workman (who I think would sound fantastic singing with Mika). I only heard of Mika a few months ago because I usually don't watch tv or listen to anything but am radio but I heard Grace Kelly at work one day and I was just like....who is this, it's fantastic. Come on, who says they can be violet skies in a song!? I live in the most misunderstood province in Canada, Newfoundland, and I can't even get the cd or dvd where I live (although I have friends hunting it down..hopefully). So I have accepted the possibility of never seeing Mika live...but who knows. I am finally seeing Hawksley for the first time after a decade of fandom! I have patience! So..that's a little bit about myself. Hope to have lots of fun conversations! p.s. I heart Mika's dancing. It makes me smile when tall lanky boys bust a move! Ash
