    So I bought Twilight. I'ma read it when I'm on holiday in California. Everyone at work is obsessed with it...I guess I shall see...:fisch:

     

    Oh good! I hope you get sucked in, too!

     

    It's still selling like CRAZY at the bookstore where I work. We sold about 300 copies in the first half hour it was released! (Granted, that was at midnight for the BD release party, but still...we sold a lot.) Parents were taking pictures of their children buying the book. :naughty:

    I doubt Aussies would realise they were still around either...

    I hope they come back... they're one of 3 concerts I'd go to without a doubt...

     

    One being Mika... one being U2... and them...

     

    Oooh yeah, Mika and U2. Two amazing concerts!!! Paul McCartney was pretty amazing, too.

     

     

    Very cool that Zac was interviewed on the radio! Awww, I'm still debating whether or not to buy tickets to their fall tour. They're not coming to my state, so I'd have to travel. Hmmm...

    Robertina, rejoice : a genius is coming to my place this pm (August 1st) to help me share my coverage of at least 2/3 of the July 26th press conference ! Fortunately not everybody is as illiterate as I am.

    I don't really know how my mother will manage to get in touch with Mika to ask him if she can tell you all about the adorable thing he did ; and even if she does I feel that he is so private and modest that he might well ask her to keep mum about it. Definitely his privilege : she wouldn't dream of unveiling something if he is anxious for it not to be known.

    Oh Mana, I wish you could at least be a Hanson.net reporter for the Calgary show! They choose fans at every show to interview them beforehand! But...I think you have to be a member. Rats. You'd be light years better than most of the reports. :bleh:

     

    Oooh, but go on The Walk before the gig, and take pics, and tell us about that!!! Please say you're going to write up a report for the show!!! You'll have chance to talk to them for sure if you go on The Walk. :thumb_yello:

    The videos are AMAAZING!!! Thank you for posting! That was an incredible performance of "Big Girl" in my opinion. I was grinning from ear to ear through the whole thing. (Oh, to have actually BEEN there!) :wub2:

    I'm working a release party for the book- so i get a free book! yay! And i might get to see a bit before midnight- i'm sooo excited!

     

    Oh God. If anyone shouts out the ending or what happens to Bella, or who she ends up with at the midnight party, I'll kill them. :cool:

    Actually - are you or Lissa Hanson fan club members? There's something about a fan club presale code...:fisch:

     

    This venue is itty, I don't think it even holds 1,000 people. And it's general admission! So. Excited!

     

    Hey Mana!!! Yes, I am a Fan Club Member. :wink2: CONGRATS!!! Hanson's finally doing a show near you! Did you hear about the Hanson Tour Bus?

    Basically, Hanson's rented two buses for fans to use to follow them around on tour for a week. Price includes a seat on one of the buses, hotel fare, a merch package, tickets to four shows they're doing that week, a meet & greet pass (of course you'll end up seeing them a lot more than during a meet & greet when you travel around with them for a week!), AND a MEMBER'S ONLY CONCERT!!

     

    OH MY GOD, I want to do it. But it's the EXACT week I was planning to visit my best friend in Ireland.

     

    Hanson's AMAZING, though. What other artist/band does this for their fans? (Then again, Hanson's had the same hardcore fans for over 10 years. They know the years we've spent on concerts, travel, time, emotional highs and lows, etc.) But seriously they're amazing.

     

    Can you imagine if Mika ever did something like that??? :shocked:
