hey guys!

 

so in the UK we have this show where celebrities dance on ice with professional ice skaters. anyway.

 

Someone did a dance to Love Today! In the "making of", Torvill and Dean (professional AND famous ice skaters, and also choreographers of the show) said they wanted to make the dance fun and childish as it went with the song and i was thinking YES PEOPLE UNDERSTAND HIS MUSIC!

 

anyway, the performance wasn't great because the celebrity was nervous about the spin at the end, but the costumes were really colourful and VERY Mika-ish! AND THEY HAD HIS ARTWORK ON THE ICERINK!!!!

 

I was eating my dinner at the time and i didnt touch it until the dance was over lol!!!

I squeed so much when he punched Alex Zane - he used to be wicked on TRL but now he's just a little bit foolish. I squeed at the whole thing in general tbh, but the punch was probably the highlight.

HAHAHAHA yeah this is definitely the best bit.... the whole thing is great, I love it! But the punch....hilarious!!

Well, it's your first gig, and you're excited an all. I hope you're lucky enough to meet him too.

It's easy for old witches like me to moan and pour cold water on things, but stripping it right back, a Mika gig is amazing, and he is usually sweet, courteous and accommodating if you meet him.

And you'll probably rave about it for days!

Then fall into the Mika depression afterwards - oh! I must see him again! When can I see him again!

yeah that won't be fun......... But I guess, the bigger the high, the bigger the low but let's not think about that part

awh you're so sweet..... u know one thing that really stands out for me here (on MFC) is how friendly everyone is..... (I know this is a bit off topic...) I mean I've been a Backstreet Boys fan FOREVER but the other fans, (at concerts and such) I mean they can be real b*tches. Obviously not all of them, but it's a general trend..... Mika fans are the sweetest in the world!!

Ok I'll throw a little twist in here...

 

I'm not actually into this very much but I used to think it was pretty interesting...

 

The throat is where the 5th - or blue - chakra is, and it represents communication and expression. Mika is really careful about what he says and he's also protective of his privacy and therefore doesn't want to say too much. Maybe the neck thing is subconsciously a form of self-protection.

 

Or, maybe his throat is sore. Lol... I touch my throat when it's sore - not that it helps, but it's kind of a natural response.

I have to agree with this interpretation... I've studied psychology and I agree that these gestures generally stem from a desire or need (conscious or subconscious)...like this could be, as said earlier, a form of self-protection or just not wanting to say too much or to give away too much

The gig on the 28th will be my first Mika concert and I'm soo excited! I don't think I'll be able to get there really early to queue but I'm hoping to still get a good spot so I can see everything and get some great pics! I'd really love to meet him but I'm not going to think about it too much cos I don't wana be disappointed...... I'll do what I can but I'm really going just to have a fab time at the concert and hopefully meet some of u guys!!

Ah, I haven't downloaded the laugh one. I've got Ring Ring as my ringtone (oh how clever and witty do I feel?) and my phone went today and I was like 'ooh! someone's playing Mika on their stereo!' (I was in a car park) but then I realised the people occasionally try and get in contact with me, and there was the big handbag search to try and get to the phone before they stopped ringing. My stupidity never ceases to amaze me, hahaha.

I think Mika gigs are generally all right queue wise, when I was there before we were practically surrounded by French people in their thirties and they didn't tend to turn up until about half six/seven.

 

I keep grinning madly without warning, it's starting to unsettle me a bit.

hahahaha...sure I have his laugh as my message alert tone and it just cracks me up every time someone texts me haha
