Yeah you're still quite new, you'll get a hang of things soon enough :wink2:

    im alexandra btw.

Do you think you have found your soul mate?

Hi alexandra, thanks for filling me in about Amy.

Yeah, I believe a person can have lots of soul mates and I've several. How bout you?

  2. I don't believe in soul mates. Sure, I believe that, with all the people in the world, there's got to be at least one person who will fit you completely, but I don't believe in the two halves put together to make a whole thing. I think that there are many people that could fulfill you and many people that you can fall in mad, passionate love with. When some say that they have found their "soul mate," maybe they have found just one of those people out there that makes them complete.

Hi Hannah, I very much believe in individuality. It's a very uncomfortable feeling to not be grounded in yourself. The theory of twin souls/ soul mates is interesting to me though and a person can teach themselves to be aware of the occurance if they stumble on it. All good things to know for future choices!

  3. Hi Melanie

I believe that there are twin souls, yes. As well as soul mates. Twin souls have an added dimension, as I'm sure you are already aware.. of being able to join energy and do some pretty amazing things in their life times. Soul mates are also wonderful when you find them. :)

  4. I have to say, that, I totally lost it here at the fan club and decided that Mika was mine. I'm sorry, but I still think that is kind of funny, since for one, I'm not ususally like that, and for two, well there really is no two, ha ha..

Anyway, even logically I have actually formed words and they have come out of my mouth and my fingers but...

I know that really... I mean what?? That's not how things work in real life so since I have gotten used to the idea that he's not mine.

But I really really wish he was my best friend. If only to look at life with and talk about everything. That's all.

  5. I can see how it could be that way. NYC was my first Mika gig.... so all I can go by is what I know. We sure did freeze! Especially being from Florida! I have never been in cold weather before. But there were no fights while waiting, no arguments. Everyone was happy and excited and just made it a GREAT day. I get the fact that those who weren't there cannot understand what the day was like for us. It was amazing! We sang....ordered pizza *and had it delivered to the streets of the venue* Played Chubby Bunny and games... Everyone was united. I know all queues are not like this - because different people...different attitudes.... but it could be this way for everyone. Ultimately it was not a competition for us, but a day of bonding with fellow MFCers. Perhaps that is too corny for some of yall to comprehend. Then again this is America.

I don't even know anymore. I thought mika was going to be such a good change for america.

  6. She wasn't denying that he won the award.

Honestly, I have no idea what she was saying. It could have been anything from "he didn't deserve to win 'breakthrough artist'" to "he's not a 'breakthrough artist' because he's already managed to become a well-established artist" to "he's not a breakthrough artist because he had a lot of marketing and I think only indie artists can really be 'breakthrough'."

In any case, again, why do WE have to match insult for insult--or even worse, 10 insults for one?

Norwalk, you are very sweet. :blush-anim-cl:

    --Jack

Oh good lord. He one an award, don't take it away from him now. Maybe the rules have changed.

Mika has his troops so blame him!

  7. Actually I think this is kind of a good point.

I've seen this on the MFC before--no one is allowed to say anything bad about Mika, but the people who are possibly suspected of insulting him--whether they have or NOT--are immediately attacked and insulted over and over.

None of us know Lily Allen, what she's really like, what she even meant with that comment, and what was on her mind.

We can agree maybe that it wasn't a nice thing to say, but is there any need to barrage her with insults in return? What has she done to us? Even if she said something mean, how does that justify being twice as mean about her?

The same thing happens with Patrick Wolf, or other people who don't even have a thing to do with Mika but are just not popular here... I find it quite sad.

    --Jack

Lily did say that he wasn't a breakthrough artist and he did win an award in that catagory so we can call her a liar liar pants on fire.
