    Mika's new "kick-ass" single

    Okay, okay, I'm home. As stated on twitter, I'm not allowed to mention anything about the movie until it's released, though I don't think anyone cares. :teehee:

     

    Mika's song is the last one in the end credits. It starts off with the chorus that goes something like "We are young. We are strong. We're not looking for somewhere to belong." and then there's a piano bit before the verse. The verses sound like a mixture between the little rap in "Rain" mixed with the pre-chorus of "Touches You". It has that same kind of whisper singing. He does a lot of interesting things with his voice in the song, which I really liked. I don't care for the synth that much...just sounds like some "everyday" song...not the Mika sound we know and love. But as mentioned on twitter as well, it's still stuck in my head and I will for sure buy it :wink2:

    After the Finale went back to dressing room and changed back into our clothes which was rubbish as i loved wearing the BG costume:naughty: Mrs P asked if we could help take the 'heads' down to the storage trunks so they could be put on to the lorry. Once we had done this we waited for a short while and then John came to take us to meet MIKA:mf_lustslow: We went into a room to see him and get our photograph taken as a group, john told us all to give him our cameras and he took all the pictures which i tought was a nice touch. i was satnding right next to MIka and i just looked up at him and said Wow! i knew you were tall but not that tall, after i said it i felt like a bit of a muppet:aah: But then Mika said to me oh! you smell nice what is it it smells like strawberry, i said to him that it was my chewing gum!! ( i felt like a schoolkid caught chewing gum in class) He then asked if he could have some and Anjy got it out my bag for me and gave it to him. Then he randomly siad something about things that taste this good can cause brain damage:boxed: I just sort of laughed in a stupid fangurly sort of way... he took a piece and handed it back and Anjy said he could keep it , he said are you sure and she said yes no problem to which he replied aw thanks, it was such a crazy moment:wub2: after a few more conversations with the other girls (which i'm sure they will tell you about themselves), it was time to leave, i was walking on cloud 9. Just as me and Anjy were walking away he shouted to us thanks for the gum! Ever the polite young man:wub2:

    So that concludes my report , but i just have to add that i did not believe my first Mika gig would be as amazing as this, i can hons=estly say it has been one of the best nights of my life:wub2:

    Made me smiiile. What a lovely/funny Mika moment for you guys. :biggrin2:

    Today I was listening to touches you very closely and heard like a choir's "AWWWWHHHH" in the background, :lmfao: I have never heard this before, but it's actually soooo funny . :lmao:

    I forgot how... famous...popular...a celebrity he is until I watched him get mobbed by school girls :lmfao:

     

    Maybe it's because he wouldn't get mobbed if he came to my school. :huh:

    Same here!!! :lol3: Living in he U.S. and Canada, we don't see all the hype as much as other places...

     

    Loved this vlog. Couldn't help but smile throughout the whole thing. Bet I looked like a freak to the other students in the computer lab. :teehee:

    Yup, I remember you. You guys showed me and some other MFCers the picture you took with him after you saw him at his bus. :)

     

    I'm the girl who was wearing this black-ish dress with grey leggings and black boots. If you go through the album I posted, there's a picture with me and Mika. Maybe you'll recognize me from that one. :wink2:
