Good... another day spent doing nothing around the house Perfect summer behaviour. What about you?
Went to Sorrento swimming and didn't get any further sunburn so that's a good day:wink2: I love holidays!
-
I just do one coat a day on my legs. My arms are already several shades lighter than my legs naturally and don't need the extra, except maybe on my t-shirt tan line
and hey everyone.
Hey, how's it going?

Hello everyone!
I joined yesterday evening...just got back from a lecture (I study Information Science and Librarianship...and have a special interest in HCI ) so I finally have some time to introduce myself.
I'm Czech (dove into the CZ&SK thread first thing yesterday ), I live in Prague, I'm 21 and I'm a music and film maniac. I also love reading and watching good TV shows (not so sure Grey's Anatomy is a good TV nowadays, though). I'm into art as well and I love vintage stuff.
Music maniac=I listen to a lot of stuff from alternative to poppy pop, I also like me some jazz or classical music from time to time.
Now to Mika. Well, I've known him ever since he released Grace Kelly, obviously. I even bought the album at that time and kinda liked it but didn't become a fan at that point. That happened very recetly, in December I got an e-mail from Mika's site and decided, hey it's Christmas soon, maybe I could get the PDP DVD and see what this guy's about. I don't think I'd seen anything cuter in my life (OK, if I don't count puppies and kittens and David Furnish ). I was also surprised how creative this guy is and that he seems to be a really interesting artist (which, unfortunatelly most of the music press dismisses ).
Thank God, I got some money for Christmas, so I bought the first DVD last week as well (I know, but I just couldn't help myself )
I'm not entirely sure how I found about you lot...either Mika mentioned you in one of his blogs or I just googled you or saw something on YouTube...God only knows.
Anyway, here I am, and boy, reading the FAQ yesterday totally cracked me up. My followers on Twitter had no idea why I suddenly started writing about chickens...
Hello and
You'll love it here but I should warn you that most of us are more than a little but joining was the best thing I ever did because there are so many awesome people on here.....and I'm sure that is going to haunt us for the rest of our days

Wow, You are getting Shizzy!!!
Time for bed. Night y'all
EDIT: I just read the tags:
Nighty night

I've only heard some of her newer stuff, I need to update my Cyndi Collection.
Madonna whore
Yes, based on the ;das: education you have I'm sure you could guess without much effort.
;shocked:You have that episode!! I have seen bits of it on VH1.
She's So Unusual.. I think she has a better voice than Madoona. *waits for DC to push me in front of a Madoona tour bus.*
Wait - That isn't happening anytime soon *zhhz*
I had a live performance of hers on vhs when I was younger. I need to find it again. She sings Iko Iko on it. Do you remember it?
That can be arranged if you like .....Shine, At Last, Bring Ya To The Brink etc.....
I thought you'd like Madonna Whore!
Take a bow....you have contributed to my education
I have that episode from start to finish as well as the full interview (not Australian) where Ace was off his face and couldn't stop laughing
I like Madonna but Cyndi has her beat six ways from Sunday
Absolutely *sings* "my grandma and your grandma were sitting by the fire".
I really love Sally's Pigeons....it makes me cry!
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=Bqel8CNJ-Oc
Jon Bon JelaMolly Countdown was da shizz !!
Monkey Magic was da shizz !!
Cyndi Lauper iz da shizz !!
I'mma gettin' shizzy here !!!
Go HK!
-
I love them too!! Countdown was brilliant. Countdown revolution, not so brilliant, but it was popular when I was a pre-teen so it was the cool tv show to watch for me then, (that and Monkey Magic) and also Jon Bon Jela was on it alot ft. Melzy recordingk.
But old Countdowns with Molly - totally rock!
And wow! Cyndi really knows how to hold a note.
I love that about her.
Countdown revolution was mine too but definitely not as good as the originals with Molly....surprisingly enough I have the countdown episode hosted by Kiss on video!!!!
That she does and it annoys me that most people think she can't sing because of the way she sang on songs like She Bop etc They don't believe that she actually has a really good voice as well!
-
*clicks and adds to favourites* She's one I haven't seen yet. I was going to go early last year. Hmmm. That was with Bec and Twatty I think, but we didn't go. Next time she comes we'll go together.
Oh, you can guess what the re-written lyrics are and you'd be about right.
And OkD is lightweight.
*goes to watch vids*
The concert I went to was at Hamer Hall at the Arts Centre. Have you heard the Shine album? True brilliance and took JB 6 months to get the damn thing:wink2:

I think I could make an educated guess
Yes, yes she is

Thanks Tan ! Clancy is my daughter ... & not really her name ... DC called her that & it has stuck ... suits me tho' ... privacy etc. etc.
Cradle Cap ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cradle_cap
The paw paw ointment fixed it up nicely !
I'm sorry HK, I feel really bad now ....good idea about the privacy though!
Thanks for the explanation
-
Me either.
Who knows.
I do too!! She was my fav growing up. Cyndi vs Madoona. I chose Cyndi.
Click on more: "Number 1 was Venus by Bananarama and was shown in full at the end of the show."
I remember changing the lyrics to that song
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=8IDnhPEG40A
Siobhan Fahey!!!
Ohh ^that's an extended version.
This is standard.
I would insert a lightning bolt but it would get me too
I preferred Cyndi too! I went to see her a few years ago and she's still got it:punk: This is from the concert tour I went too!
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=pJ3ujrG3dMs
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=qKarywdG3dY
I loved Bananarama ....is scared about the re-written lyrics for Venus
We've already discussed the fact that Siobhan rocks....although that pic of herfrom Shakespeares Sister scared OKD

Hella Yes!!!
tpbm has pet fishies?
Nopers!
tbpm watches too much South Park
-
Yes!! I know. It's SH!T. I watched one episode and there's no BOGANISM!!
There's no nothing! No boganism, no personality and definitely no talent
-
Nice to see you are admitting it now.
I'm watching old countdown countdowns. Gavin Wood is a cracker. I'm sure not all of you will remember him, but Rage was playing some old countdowns the other night ft. Elton John, and I was in bed laughing trying to sleep. I have a heap of these on VHS *das* from Rage but to my surprise some are on youtube which saved me loads of time.
Awww, Cyndi.
After 6 weeks on top Madoona falls (off) *zhhz*
I has nothing to be ashamed of
OMFG Wa wa nee....where was Sugar Free?
I luurrrvveeee Cyndi Lauper....she rocks
Who was number 1....I have to know now!!!!
-
I just made the big mistake of watching a bit of the US version of Kath & Kim......now I can see why some US critics were apologising to the Australian people....

Hi Olivia

Hello everyone!
I haven't been in here for ages. I hope you all had a great New Year

*Peeks in Aussie thread. Vacant. Looks at Silver's new recruitment campaign and applies for any job that pays well and allows her to do squat. Sees that the constituents are all out going for treks and tans.*
Hi Suzy!
I didn't think breaking the law was necessary for you to want to be punished.
You say that like it's a bad thing....I've been a very bad girl :das: :das:

We'll make sure we are awake *goes to set alarm clock earlier*
I'm freaking jealous

Petra, you should have come to Australia for a holiday so you wouldn't be jealous .....you would have had plenty of places to stay:wink2:....and we're going to keep on your back about coming here you realise:naughty:

Hey Tan ! My Clancy may have sold two more today ... *cross fingers* & yes, other photographers sold stuff last night & today too ... we are open for a week tho' ...
I used to use paw paw ointment on Clancy's cradle cap & nappy rash !
Good on Clancy! I hope he sells heaps more.
What's cradle cap?
Hope. That's afterwards.. Yes, I talk in my sleep.
Goodnight Dahlingk.
I use Papaw on anything and everything.
I'm quite a violent sleeper
Hello Dahlingk
I am now too!
Tanya! What a silly girl, getting burnt. Hope it's not too painfulThanx Silver! It's not too bad since I've been putting that stuff on it.
In case anyone thinks I'm doing lots of single posts just to get my post count up* I'm not, it's just taking such an age to post replies tonight I don't want to risk MQs* though it can't hurt
I never thought that.....but you've given me a great idea
Right. I think I will take possession of Australia. It's my country now.
I shall think of some new laws to institute (with appropriate punishments for breaking them ).
And I shall be looking for people to serve in my government.
I can't wait to break the new laws so I can be punnished
Another empty day in the Aussie thread.Today I trekked 40 minutes in the 30 degree heat with no shade while carrying 3 huge textbooks and a bag of freshly baked (read: bloody hot) food (because no one else could pick it up before the store closed) and developed some lovely blisters that'll make shoe shopping for my friend's wedding this week a breeze and some tan lines that will clash with the dress nicely. Also, I did zero hours of study. What a wonderful day.
*huggles you*....although, well done on the 40 min trek!!!!

-
"Maybe they are going to start :woot_jump:ing when I give them the mic to sing along :tears:"
"*chews* I can't *bites* believe what *chews* Luke *swallows* said about these unexcited MFCers :boxed:"
Who knows what we would do
-
"This lady there said she wouldn't be excited! :sneaky2:"
"Oh come on..."
"This song is dedicated to Tanya and Bianca! :das:"
-
Not even a tiny little bit?
"I can't believe she said that!"
"I wonder if she will change her mind when I crowdsurf right in front of her nose ."
"And wear my extremly tight jeans on that day!"
ZOMG....I'm actually so excited that I'm bouncing off the walls I'm going to be so bruised and battered before I even get to the concert
-
Tanya!! *pops in and out again*
Can't you at least make small talk before taking such terrible liberties?
Nice shopping trip!
Now that everyone as decided to show their faces, I have to leave....night all
