All the oldlings are recovering from a hectic weekend juggling home life and MIKA life Should be intersting tomorrow morning if the weather keeps up, I had to wait in the lane whilst on of the farmhands cut up a fallen tree, no room to do a turn in the road, so watched mika video on ipod classic, gave mikalings time to prepare dinner, aint life sweet?

well another fine day, though reading all posts not everyone has had a good week end, I am popping on and off all night, but will try to keep up with topics. perhaps it has more to do with the festival organisers, not unknown to have bands names appear on litterature before actually being confirmed.

I understand the frustrations of late notice of cancelled gigs, another way to look at it would be if book to fly with an airline and the flight is cancelled, would you wish to start an official fan club to be notified earlier of cancelled flights. weealx is now being controvercial. HAMSTERJAM accomodation now booked, 'aint no stoppin' me and the mika-lings now

Does it really matter if the fan club is official or not? as we are all unofficial at the moment what difference would it make to everyone if it were to be made official. Would you like Mika less if he or his management said NO to an official fan club, and from what I have read over a few threads there is a feeling that MIKA owes us , well I'm afraid to say he doesn't, and I have frequently read,'what will be our benefits, what will we get?' although I understand the frustrations there is also the legal side of the arguement to consider, you only have to look at what has happened in the past to solo artistes and bands and the legal wranglings about fan clubs. Yes I made a fleeting remark about doing a private gig when the oldlings reach 100 in strength, remember he is a young man trying to make his way in life and at the moment that happens to be his music, which we all have in common and enjoy. So in short expect a lot and get disapointed, expect nothing and be surprised Whatever happens I will still attend whatever gigs I can and buy cd's that I like. Release the pressure on MIKA and let his management team guide him the best they can, for the right reasons.

I am sensitive when implications of disputes arise, without going into much detail, taking my mika-lings to their various hobbies it was inevitable that I would know 90% females, and occassionaly insecurities would show their ugly head, but I deal with awkward situations well and carry on with life happy and secure within myself. no offence taken.

What I was trying to say was that because I enjoy MIKAs' music doesn't imply I am on this site to find females, nor does it imply I am gay, I didn't realise that chatting to people on this thread could cause problems, the only time I am likely to meet oldlings would be at gigs, and enjoy the gig my life is happy and busy. Hope no one is offended by my comments.
