  2. Ok im at the airport now so i'll wrige my report:

I had to wake up at 4 am to fly to Chicago from Miami. I arrived at the venue around 11 am and there were already like 8 people. I got to meet some mfc friends like Christine and the Meyer twins, also other frinds fron twitter. waiting wasnt that bad as time went by quickly but it was freezing cold! They let us in the thetre some minutes past 6:30. I got an amazing spot at front row at the centre. The Dolls were really good!I was so excited i started to cry desesperately once Mika walked onstage and during blue eyes i fetched him a peruvian hat and he wore it as he sang Billy Brown! He even winked at me from the pian after puting it on! I couldnt beleive it! There was a lot of eye contact, far more than what my poor heart can stand lol. Then my friend @msMIKAPTVlover from twitter had made this poster that said "we ship Mika and Curtis they are our OTP" she was at second row so she gave it to me to show it to Mika. I holded it up when he was flirting with curtis and at first Tim saw it and started laughing, so i made a heart with my hands over Mika and Curtis flirting and he was like "yeah in know!" then Mika noticed what Tim was looking at and he came to me to take it! He didnt had any idea of what an OTP as and he thought it was something dirty hehe. So he came to us and kneeled down to talk and we tried to explain it to him but he didnt got it! Then i shouted " we know theres love" and he was like " shame on you!" and dedicated celebrate to "MURTIS". Then during celebrate i noticed Tim was looking at me so i stuck out my tongue and did other funny faces and he copied them! It was so funny! Oh and he dedicated the origin of Love to someone but i cant remember the name! The concert was fully amazing Mika was sooooo happy and full of energy! He blew my mind! Then after the gig we waited at the artists entrance fir him, there as a lot of people waiting so everyone thought he wasnt coming out but he did! He gave everyone an autograph and even signed a guys boxers :naughty: Then when it was my turn i told him i came all the way from Peru to see him and he told me he loved the hat ! I gave him other presents and he loved them, i asked for a picture but he wasnt allowed and he said " sorry i cant do it not even for my peruvian fan":teehee: he told me i was the first peruvian to fly to one of his concerts! He signed my disc i was so happy and after he was gone i started crying so so much :teehee: christine came to make sure i was ok and that they were happiness tears :blush-anim-cl: it was for sure the best day of my life wont ever forget it!

What a night! Thanks for your report, it sounds perfect :wub2:

From all the US vids,I think I already know which is my fav moment of the show :wub2: Stardust acoustic is simply magical, everyone from the audience should waves their bright lighter during this song :wub2:

    AGREE!

  3. I think a fan gave him this hat, correct me if I'm wrong :wink2:

    Webster Hall, NY 15-10-2012

    269925_10151124040903040_2100798714_n.jpg

Yes! She went to the show on Monday - i got to go to both. :wub2: You should come next time he comes to NY! Or maybe I'll go to Spain .. hmm :)

Woow Kira I'm so happy you could attend this gig :wink2: did your sister also come to the gig?

He threw his old hat into the audience? I bet there are a lot of very happy fans right now! Unless someone gave it back to him. :teehee:

Nope he didn't take it back! I know - that's got to be a nice hat! good riddance

  4. I think a fan gave him this hat, correct me if I'm wrong :wink2:

    Webster Hall, NY 15-10-2012

Yes! The guy who threw it on stage was standing right behind me for the second show. Mika threw his old hat into the audience, so I bet we'll be seeing this one a lot more!

  5. did you take it?

edit: i just found where it's from. the guy from the choir posted it on his twitter. :wink2:

could someone please transcript what mika says in the first 2 minutes of this video, before he introduces his band? i hardly understand a word. :aah:

    ohh yeahhh!

    and this is close:

i have a record that comes out tomorrow. you know - you know i really don't have that much more to say but - () i think one day of the year everybody in new york city should be forced to wear polka dots. i'm not sure if that would make everyone happy or really ****ing angry. uh - i was going to say something really important . i'm serious. i was going to say -i have nothing to say aboutt my record because when you walk around from place to place doing interview after interview it becomes, well 2 things, firstly you start to believe the **** that's coming out of your mouth. (:naughty:) which can be dangerous. and then you feel like a very talented slut after you're done. there is nowhere that i'm going with this statement. ()

  6. Night #2 at Webster Hall NYC...........

Somehow more perfect than night #1?

This might have been due to queueing which - we had learned - didn't have to start til around 11am. Today was so, so low key. A little cold but no anxiety about invisible tickets! I got to chat to some of the polka dot choir who were back around 3:30 to soundcheck. They were pretty pumped up and were obviously amazing for the second night -but more on that later. Blurry photo pre-show (Ryan has a better one!)

    20121016_181447_zps713f5446.jpg

Around 5 they switched the direction of the line around but there was no problem. We saw the band walk in but Mika and family must have snuck in, because we never saw them! A little after 7 we walked in the front doors and, smooth as can be, got to the stage.

If it's possible the barrier was CLOSER tonight. I set some of my stuff on the stage before the show started- because I could! The crowd was pretty excited but not as pumped up when the openers came on. Their set was fun again but the sound was a little messed up so it was hard to hear... But they seem to have an unlimited supply of kazoos!

Tip to the Chicago/later tour audience: once "Waterfalls" by TLC starts playing, Mika is nigh .... yep, the band walked on and started Relax and out bounces the gorgeous master. Even though the crowd wasn't as loud, Mika was INSANE, he was WILD - SO MUCH ENERGY. Yep, he told us that he was in a ridiculously good mood and you could tell.

Honestly. I thought Monday night we had tons of energy and eye contact. That was nothing. Mana and I actually checked behind us to see if there was a hot blonde guy!! He wouldn't leave us alone! It was FANTASTIC. Popular was so fun tonight - you could hear him better and he was more comfortable. Underwater live is OUT OF THIS WORLD, and Love You When I'm Drunk had everyone going WILD. That song is super fun live. Also, I'm falling in love with the acoustic Stardust (I'm pretty sure it was in my dream last night). The set was the same as Monday but I can't complain. It was phenomenal.

Polka dot choir was caught up in the energy as well and much more comfortable tonight. Their dance moves/antics/Mika-led pilates really added a lot to the show. I'll stop blabbing. Here's what it was like:

Thank you to Deb and Team Mika for the short but sweet M&G after! How lovely! And thanks to the official MFC photographer Ryan - can't wait to see the pictures :naughty:

I'm just going to say it - Webster Hall on October 16th, 2012 was perfect. Thank you Mika. :wub2:

Let me go PMD now :naughty:

  7. Hi everyone! PMD is finally setting in after an absolutely surreal two days. Here's a proper report for Monday ...

I got up and arrive at the venue around 8:30. No one in sight! Set up all my books and prepared to study for midterms (who was I kidding...) MFC crew showed up soon after and queueing began. It was pretty uneventful for the most part. We waved at Mama P and Yasmine who helped unload the choir outfits - I got to hold the door for them! Thomas came out to meet Mika around 4. He came down the sidewalk and asked how we were on his way into the venue.. :wub2: It started raining in the evening (we wrote a song :naughty:) and around 6 they moved everyone into the bar area of Webster Hall to get us out of the rain. It was a clusterf___ for pretty much every reason but luckily MFC befriended the bouncer lady who made sure the order was preserved. Presale tickets were not a problem and soon we were inside the venue!

The stage was ridiculously close. I was on the left side in front of the four microphones set up (for the polka dot choir!). The photographers were chatty and told us they were annoyed about how small their pit area was! Ha! I wasn't complaining. (By the way, definitely check out the pictures on the NBC website - our friend did an amazing job!!).

Opening act was fun, one DJ and a very talented violinist. Both girls were energetic and the music was easy to dance to. At this point you could tell how excited the crowd was - even before they started playing people were screaming and cheering! The buzz was great. Also, really fun when they threw toy instruments into the crowd. Thanks for the kazoo! During the act, we could see the dressing room which was above the stage on the right side. Mika and someone else kept peeking out until they realized the audience could all see. We were all getting excited ....

Right after the band started playing Relax, Mika jumped on stage!!!!

    He's HERE!!!

Ok here's where the report kind of devolves into me just barfing out what I remember....

The crowd was going CRAZY, Mika was FULL of energy - tons of eye contact, so much energy... KILLING IT! Relax was first, then Blue Eyes and Billy Brown. The shattered piano was right in front of us, and it was honestly used more as a prop than anything else. He played it during Blue Eyes and BB, but spent a lot more time dancing on top of it.

Curtis did piano, sax, clarinet and guitar... the band was really fun. Mika's still killing the band during Love Today, but Max's bit was really fun. At one point someone threw a bedazzled bowler hat on stage and Mika really lit up. He was also very chatty - talking about the new tour, how he was slutting it up doing promo in Europe, how much he loves the venue...

THE POLKA DOT CHOIR was fantastic! We had chatted with a few of the singers as they walked in earlier - but there they were, in those hideous polka dot robes! Mika really played with them, they all danced around during Celebrate (which was amazing) and sat on the stage for GK. They were all really energetic and added a lot. If anyone gets the chance, try and check out some of their tweets because it's obvious what a great time they had. Great idea team Mika!

For the encore it was Lollipop and WAG which is quickly becoming a classic of the show. Someone said that, the crowd just went bezerk when he played WAG. I LOVE IT.

Fantastic amazing perfect show. We hung around the merch stand (didn't get a picture but I can take a picture of my shirt :teehee: ) and then hung around in the drizzle outside. The security people were shuffling us around on the sidewalk but finally Mika strolled out and greeted us. He was in a hurry (CNN in the morning!) but stopped and signed for a bit. My copy of Origin of Love is graced with a scribble.

Our friend had him sign a copy of something by Aristotle. He was laughing, and wrote "by Aristotle... and me!" then signed. Love it!

Night one was amazing. I took one pic from tonight ...

    Thank you Mika! :mikalove:

  8. Hello MFC!

Yeah i thought last night's show couldn't get any better.

    It.

    Did.

Tonight was phemoneal. . mika actually came out and said "I am in a great mood" - basically, you're in for it tonight. AND IT WAS AMAZING. So much eye contact, jumping, dancing ... and the polka dot choir/band were right there too

I'm delirious and have a midterm in 7 hours so that's all for now, but i'll try and collect everyting in a proper report soon!!

GOOD NIGHT and dream of Mika everyone :wub2::wub2:

  9. Hey mfc! On my phone so this report will be brief! Operation Mika at Webster hall was a great success! Queue was uneventful, they moved everyone inside about half an hour before doors because it was raining. Thanks to deb's magical powers the non existent presale tickets weren't an issue. MFC front row, venue was cozy! Three feet between us and the stage-awesome! Opening act was cute and fun, two girls, 1 dje while the other rocked out on violin. Mika came on about ten minutes early (miracles do happen!) And played a great mix of old and new. Great crowd energy. Underwater was phenom even though he flubbed the lyrics, i LOVED celebrate even though it's one of my least favorites from the album. The crowd energy was great even though many people didn't know the new stuff. oops i wrote even though so many times.....excuse me! polka dot fan choir was also really fun and clearly having a great time. Someone already posted the pic of Mikas on stage pilates...whew!!

Forgot to take a merch stand pic but 3 cute shirts, hoodie, poster, tote, CD etc. we waited out in the rain and Mika signed for a bit but had to rush off "for cnn." Riiiight. He was clearly happy and the show was beautiful. I will write a proper report when all this is over. Can't wait to do it all again tomorrow night!

Ps, great to meet all the new + old mfcers. :wub2:

    Goodnight !

  10. Really bummed the NYC shows are 18+. Wonder if there is anyway I could get in since I would be with my mom and brother!? Maybe I will take the chance????? Anyways I get to go to the Chicago show and both L.A. shows so - still gonna be a blast. This is my first time seeing Mika. I doubt he can live up to all of my mother's hype :naughty: we will see. :aah:

Hey Alysia! From what I can tell the venue is pretty strict about age, but BUT that doesn't mean you can't try. Maybe you can just say that you don't have an ID and the rest of us can vouch for you :naughty:

  11. I'm not freaking out, but only because I just saw Mika few weeks ago -- how long has it been for you, Kira?

I get in Sunday afternoon, unless something changes. I'd be interested in getting together for a meal the night before. :)

And I don't know about queuing my a$$ off but... well, we'll see... :naughty:

Yay! It's been approximately 14 months - since July 2011! I just can't wait to see him 2 nights in a row ... never done it before. And I have midterms on October 17th BRING IT ON!!

We can communicate about an MFC dinner as the time approaches. Are you staying close to the venue? We could always eat at my dorm's dining hall .... NOT!!! :puke:

    :

  12. Just a little more than a month away! :excite:

IS ANYONE ELSE FREAKING OUT. BECAUSE I AM FREAKING OUT. !!..!

I really don't have a lot to say other than that New York is going to be GORGEOUS in October. I walk by the venue on my way to class (surreal :naughty:) and I've seen people queueing there before. That's going to be us. Yeah Christine. I'm going to queue my @$$ off

When is everyone getting to town? We could do an MFC dinner the night before!
