I actually definitely looked up plane tickets for today, but it didn't work out ... this time!

I don't see Mika's name on there for it!! It shows on the import album but not on the mp3 download.

 

Nothing on US Itunes. No single only purchase on Amazon either.

No, Kick Ass is on US iTunes but it's album only--so you essentially have to spend 12$ to buy a one dollar song.

YES, I am totally having a mass dance party when everyone else has left the theater. That's the only benefit to it being last in the credits!

Yeah same here! It's the glued up kind that they just plaster en-mass in random alleyways.

They had them in NYC too, so Kick-Ass is all over!

I'm actually really excited about this movie release! In my opinion the movie doesn't look like the finest cinematography (or even close to it ...) but a LOT of people that I know have heard about it--far more than have heard about Mika.

So hopefully, hopefully, this will be a big exposure bust for him in the U.S. market. The movie is bloody and crude, which is PERFECT for American audiences, and so hopefully it'll be a smash hit that gets Mika a lot more listening.

You know, it's really exciting to search and discover great music. Whether I find it, or it comes to me by recommendation (and many have come from here from MFCers too). It's such a real high for me and I get all giddy about downloading it and playing it and sharing it with friends and family who end up liking it too.

I don't know, but I'm worried Mika's going to get noticed because it sounds like most music these days, and not for the "Mika sound"

I donno, my theory is, people that hear this "popped-up" version of Mika will be like "hey, I like this!" And if they choose to listen to his other music, already having a positive disposition towards him, they'll be more likely to like it.

....if that makes any sense.

Basically, even if it's not as good as our classic Mika, it will be good to get exposure to people who have different music taste, and therefore a CHANCE at a new Mika fan.
