  1. Thanks to whoever changed the title, guess that's my lesson for today, never translate things too quickly, especially when you've obviously been in Italy for too long and can no longer speak proper English
  2. Ah, my translation skillz are letting me down again Edit: Can a mod maybe change the title? I've had a proper look and it does translate to spokesperson. That's what happens when English words are used in Italian....!
  3. If the last year's to go by he'll be the model for their publicity campaign.
  4. Thanks to eusounds on Twitter for the info! It's been announced on Lozza's facebook page that their new spokesperson is Mika! They're a company who make glasses and sunglasses. Their last spokesperson was singer Marco Mengoni, an X Factor contestant in 2009 and very popular in Italy. So soon we'll be seeing Mika wearing some very nahce glasses in adverts for the company! Their website's here, they still have images of Marco though http://www.lozzaocchiali.it
  5. Hai visto?? Dovevo far girare subito la voce sennĂ² dimenticavo!
  6. Un fan italiano che mi segue su twitter mi ha appena twittato, Mika è il nuovo testimonial della Lozza https://www.facebook.com/lozzaofficial?sk=wall

  8. I've done Milan-Zurich on the train (to see M in August 2010 ), if you buy tickets enough in advance you can get them for 19 euro one-way. The main station in Zurich's the Hauptbahnhof (it literally translates as main station, useful tip for travelling in German speaking areas ). The price in Italy depends on the type of train, the new high speed ones are the Frecciarossa and are expensive. A one-way ticket from Milan-Rome will cost you 91 euro at full price, or if you buy in advance you can get ones for 49 euro. The cheapest trains are the regionale/interregionale, they're the slower trains that cover short/medium distances. For the journey of Milan-Venice, a 3 hour 40 minute journey, a one-way ticket's 17 euro. There are also Intercity and Eurostar trains, sort of inbetween the cheapest and most expensive, and they also do international journeys. The train to Zurich's an Intercity for example.
  9. Here I am! Train travel's a great idea, and the best way if you're thinking of going to visit southern France/Switzerland/Southern Germany as the flights are much more expensive. Train travel in Italy's cheaper than a lot of western European countries (a LOT more than my native UK), but the new high-speed trains (the ones that connect Rome to Milan for example, as well as other cities in the country) are expensive. Do you have any ideas about where you'd like to go?
  10. What do you mean nobody posts here, have you not seen how much I've been spamming recently??
  11. Hi Jaya! I'm the resident non-Italian of the thread, I moved to Italy from Britain just over 3 years ago and they haven't managed to get rid of me yet
  12. E invece mi si vedeva dalla webcam della regia E tanto di anche a te
  13. Mi pare di aver sentito qualcosa in radio l'anno scorso se mi ricordo bene... Comunque non sapevo che ci sarebbe stato in radio oggi, visto che il suo programma con la Laura ri-inizia il 8.
