  1. People, don't forget to send in your pictures, I don't have them all yet (impatient, who, me? ).
  2. I liked it! I have a picture of you, is it OK if I put it in the book? Laurel, you were very brave that night and you are brave again, writing your report. I am sure there are moments you feel less brave, that is all right too. It was a surreal situation, it still is. We are thinking of you .
  3. Did you still wear your yabberwocky mask? That might have explained the staring from his part . He should like your costume. He should like all of our costumes, they were amazing .
  4. Did you get the pictures in high quality? I would love the picture of you in your costume for the Qbook, if that's all right with you. If it is, I'll PM you my email address so you can send it to me. Saskia, did you make any pictures of the people in their costumes? Any one else who wants to contribute to the Q book (I'll post the link here again, just to be sure)? http://www.mikafanclub.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2979244&posted=1#post2979244
  5. Me neither, were you dressed up? Oooh, your beautiful drawing, yes please, I would love to have it in the book! The first time I went to a Mika gig I didn't know about the meet and greet either and went home too. He usually comes out after a gig (tho that is no guarantee that you'll be able to talk to him since there are usually a lot of people waiting but you can always try). Sometimes he doesn't, when he is ill or something but usually he does. I don't know if there will be a meet and greet at festivals, I am going to Pinkpop but I am not counting on a meet and greet.
  6. Yes I can :original:.

  7. Miek and Ingie and I were in Antwerp where he told us he would be heading to Amsterdam after the meet and great . Alexander: did you take pictures Friday? Would you like to contribute to the Q book (work title )?
  8. I am glad you like the idea. I made an official thread about it: http://www.mikafanclub.com/forums/sh...61#post2977461 If anyone who had a handmade costume has drawings of their costume: I am interested in them as well, it would make a nice contribution I think.
  9. Great, thank you . If anyone wants to contribute but hasn't got my email address yet, let me know in this thread (or through a visitors messages, my PM box is often full ) and I'll PM you my address.
  10. Yesterday when I was looking at pics from the Qing and at Mika's tour book I got an idea. Our costumes were great, there are some great pictures of them and it was such a special day that I want to make a Q book a la tour book (in case you are interested as well). Of course I will need your help, since I would like to have photo's in high quality. My idea is to let everyone who wants to participate send me a few of their best pictures and then combine them to a beautiful book (my b/f who is a web designer will advise me about the layout). It can be photo's about people putting their make up on, getting dressed, wearing the clothes, gathering together, Mika signing stuff for them etc. As long as it is mainly about the dress up theme. I don't want to make this book for Mika (tho if it turns out good I might give him a copy) but for ourselves. Of course these days everyone can make their own photo book easily. But I thought a combined album would be nice. What do you think of this idea?
  11. There's a review in the Utrecht part of the AD newspaper about the gig. It is reasonably positive and it says that Mika was delayed since he got lost in Amsterdam, trying to find his favorite furniture shop by his own . Then he couldn't find a cap and but a lady in a cafe helped him to get one. He didn't have enough money for the taxi but I'm sure John took care of that . Did anyone else read reviews in newspapers about the gig?
  12. You can write your stunning report in one minute ? You are framazing !
  13. Whatever you want Laurel. It's amazing that you are back on here, I am happy about it. Sabine: I love the flash mob rehearsal vid, at least here you can see that we are doing it .
  14. Oh Celien, you just made my day! Thank you so much for the pic where he signs my glove, it doesn't matter that the quality isn't that good (and his autograph looks great on your wallet). I relate to what you said about him not responding to you, he didn't respond to me either, I think he was in a hurry. When he signed something for Queenie who was standing behind/in between Miek and me I leaned to the side to give him some space to sign. There was still little space so he was leaning on me quite heavily. I tried to lean to the side even more to give him more space when I thought: ahm...why am I trying to avoid touching him ? If it's no problem for him it isn't for me . I like slash-mob. Let's keep calling it slash-mob . Were you in fancy dress?
  15. That was my luck . How are you darling, on mothers day? Are you being pampered? Ulrike, I love your pictures. Somehow I like the pictures of the queuing even more then the pictures of the gig, perhaps because I've seen the show a few times now and because it was a special Q.
  16. Nobody touches my Mika stuff ! And thanks for being not only Miek's but also my personal (balloon) assistant . On this vid you can see that Mika is circling around the place Ingie and Freddie will come on stage, great. It felt like they represented all of us dressed up people.
  17. You wear matching colours! Lovely picture. Sasje, how awful about your car. I was wondering why Leator wasn't wearing his costume! Even tho it was rainy and cold, I liked this Qing (most of the time ) because of all the (colorful) MFC'ers. Thank you Wicky for your compliment, it is a shame we didn't get to meet.
  18. It is isn't it! I wish we could skip that part. My vids, I didn't make many since I wanted to enjoy the show and I had made many in Antwerp already: WAG (with Jimmy and Imma on fire) I see you: and some random filming in the Q (I was explaining the filming function of my camera to Bienie):
  19. Let's see if we can convince him to make an MFC shoe line . I thought it was great too to see Louboutin standing 2 meters away. He is a charismatic man! Melissa, I love the Qing pictures, I love them even more then the pictures of the gig itself .
  20. I have the Panasonic Lumix TZ7! But it doesn't make good pictures at gigs when it is dark (it makes great films tho). Of misschien ligt het aan de instellingen, ik heb geen idee hoe ik hem goed moet instellen voor dit soort gelegenheden, misschien kun je het me leren (sorry, didn't know how to say this in English). Yes! We must and we will!!! I love the grouppic, tho some people are missing.
  21. Wow, Floor, what a great camera you have! What brand is it? You were standing at exact the opposite side from me. Have you made photo's from the dressed up people as well?
  22. Don't mess with a white rabbit . It was lovely meeting you again . Interesting subject. For me the murdering of the band and himself doesn't have a higher level artistic meaning. It's just Mika playing around. And about being happy when someone says something sad, well, things aren't usually black or white, so for me the (sometimes) sad lyrics on the happy music are just 2 sides of the same coin. During a gig I'm usually quite happy (tho maybe excited is a better word ). Being there yesterday with all the MFC'ers was huge part of the fun yesterday. I think Mika and his band were responsible for 50 % of it, and the MFC for the other 50 .
