  1. hey everyone! wow, its' been a while....how are you all?

That's so exciting about new stuff being released! wow!!!

And we now have a date for the TII dvd...Jan 26th wohoooo :)

I saw that yesterday! I was so excited! But since I've been gone I thought that everyone had announced it and everything already. I've already begun formulating plans for a sleep over with some friends.

Hey Amazon UK is offering a 2 disc special edition while us over here in the US don't get it- Isn't that weird?? Chantelle you have to tell us how it is!!

  2. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/143029/Michael-Jackson-s-debt-is-paid-off

"Now, in an ironic twist, financial experts predict Jackson’s estate could be as much as a billion dollars in profit by the end of next year, with plans to launch as many as six new CDs."

Heck yes! that sounds awesome! I read somewhere that he had loads of material that he never released, in case something happend to him, so his kids would have some sort of insurance. I just didn't think it'd be this soon.

And Chantelle thanks for the news about Jordy's dad.. didn't like him... I hate him for everything he did to MiKe ... so I'm glad he's gone.

and Bitter.Icarus thank you soo much for the pics!

  3. Mmhm. I know what you guys me. Also, I doubt Michael's kids and Janet will be on there, so I don't know what the point will be trying to watch. (I don't know what I'm trying to say).

Gah. I'm tired. I just catch some of FUSE's 5 hour MJ music video marathon. More left to see on Saturday! (Although I'm not entirely positive about the scheduling. On my FUSE, it just keeps repeating.)

Aww I wish I caught that-

None of the CHaneels I have will play Mike's video's!

Centric even had a 1.5 hour block set aside for Mike but they only played Janet's stuff and stuff...

  4. Me neither. He's one of those people that would be around forever to me. Untouchable, unhuman. It's only when it's time for them to go and it's all over the news and whatnot that we sort of remember they were more like us than we thought. Everyone's mortal.

Exactly- When I first heard he was gone, even though I didn't know him at all back then, I was in shock. Because he always seemed immortal. Larger than Life. BUt death conquers all- eek that's kinda morbid

  5. yeah :wub2:

Btw, how did you interpret that? I don't want to give away spoilers for those who haven't seen it, SO LOOK AWAY NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT - Are you still looking?? Why are you still looking?? :dunno: Stop looking!!! Anyway, my interpretation was that "This is it" and the "final curtain call" is all about that. Reappearing at the end of the credits, is in fact a curtain call. Earth Song, Heal the World, the girl, waking up to mass destruction, the earth, the lonely plant and the bulldozer. That's his real message. And, I know there's so many different opinions on how he died, if he died, etc etc, you can all believe what you will - but I feel like he was willing to do just about anything to try and get this message across to the entire world. And MJ is 100% right. Now Is The Time. We have to act and save our planet. I really hope everyone who watches This Is It takes that piece of advice home with them. :)

Yes- that part was awesome- and I loved how he put so much emphasis on that message

I really want to see it again- but I'm broke. I'm going to see if they'll release it at my base theater- then I'll see it again- it's way cheaper there

I still can't seem to fathom the idea that Michael Jackson is dead...

Same here! It doesn't seem like he's gone.

Ive seen clips , in fact I got the album last week ... with the picture booklet and all

    Is it worth the 16.95?

I'm thinking about getting it- but I'm broke so I'd have to save up.

  6. Just saw This Is It. Unbelievable, I could see it again right now! The costumes for Thriller were amazing. Everyone was applauding after every song. At the end of the last song it went completely silent and one woman in the audience said "I love you Michael". It was so cute. But missing was his, "I love you more". It's just so sad that he's gone.

    Yes Thriller was amazing!

THe theater was pretty empty for my showing but I made sure to clap after every song - it was amazing!

    Awwww- that's adorable-

    bitter.icarus - here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zuWIl8mnE0 at 47 seconds isn't that Bogie?

  7. You're going to love it. :teehee:

I completely agree. It's offputting when people just leave as soon as the credits start to roll. What if they had spent all that energy working on a film, only to be left unseen once the shots ended? :sneaky2:

I like to think the little extras put at the end of credits are like rewards for those of us who stick around til the end. :blush-anim-cl:

Me too!!! I love those clips- I always stay there till the very end.

What? Really? I didn't see any Bogart-lookalike! There's another reason to see it again.

Hmm during Smooth Criminal - the guy who was chasing Michael- and to me he looked just like Bogie- It might have een my over reactive imagination but it looked just like him!

  8. I just got back from it-

It wasn't long enough- I could have sat there for another three hours- It was amazing!

It shows what a talented, beautiful, tender-hearted, innocent, loving, caring, funny person he is. He is just so full of love to everyone. He also looked very motivated in everything he did.

I did cry a lot during this movie, especially at the end, I just couldn't stop :-( and I seemed to be the only one. It's just the fact that this will be the last thing we will see of him or something.

It really did- I laughed so much

I almost cried- I rarely rarely ever cry during movies- I think I have only once before. (RENT)

Okay, so I just came back from it. My thoughts? It was amazing. As first I wasn't really too sure what to expect, but every single part was enjoyable. It made me laugh, it made me cry (right now, I'm still tearing!), and most of all, it made me appreciate Michael so much more. I love Thriller and Earth Song, they're outstanding, but really, there wasn't a dull moment. I was worried I'd be a little upset after seeing it. But after the credits rolled, and the bonus scene played, it left me with a complete feeling. If there's one thing I learned from this film, it's that Michael truly loves his fans. Kenny Ortega did a brilliant job with this. It was raw, it was real, and it really was it.

But, yes I'm so glad he left us this.

And me and my brother were the only one's who stayed all the way through and saw the clip at the end- That made me so happy! And who he dedicated it to. I was a little upset at the ending, well, because it was the ending but the final clip made me laugh and I felt so much better-

I was just upset I left my #1's CD at home and couldn't listen to him on the way back.

“I really feel that nature is trying so hard to compensate for man’s mismanagement of the planet. This beautiful planet is sick, like a fever. If we don’t fix it now then it’s at the point of no return. This is our last chance to fix this problem that we have. It’s like a runaway train and the time has come. This is it. People always think: ‘Oh they’ll take care of it, the government; they will do it ‘they’ who? It starts with us. It’s us, or it’ll never be done.”

    Michael Jackson R.I.P

I loved when he said that

Of course, he'll always be an "is".

    aww that made me smile-

I can only refer to him in the present tense

it's a very nice one & the fish that was thirsty too

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the title.

My brother just came back from TIS. He said little kids and other people were dressed up like Michael. That's so cute!

lol- I was trying to get my brother to dress up but we totally forgot because we weren't even sure if we were going.

But yeah, My favourite parts were They Don't Care About Us, Thriller, Billie Jean and parts of Smooth Criminal (because there was a Humphrey Bogart look-a-like and Bogart's my favourite actor-lol)

  9. What the poop? My comment disappeared! But THANK you guys for all the feedback. I'm really psyched to see it tomorrow. My only worry is that I won't have a hard copy to take home and reply over and over. :aah:

Hopefully I'll see it tomorrow too. :aah::aah::aah:

I don't think so. You guys have to remember that Michael was also majorly in debt. A lot of the money is also going towards his estate, and his children. I like to think I'm helping them out as much as I can. Also, if Sony decided not to release the movie, there would be a huge uproar, so why not? When it comes down to it, it's all about business, and making people happy means money most of the time.

Exactly what I was thinking. I think this might actually be more for the fans than for greed. Man, even though he did go, at least he left us this.

  10. I recieved my new car today. WOot I be stylin in my black PT cruizer. XD other than that I'm stressed as heck at work.

    How exciting!

I got a hamster yesterday - which was kindda exciting,

because he's a hamster I'd babysat before and he's an absolute sweetheart named George Lucas.

Right now I'm super excited for Michael Jackson's This Is It and my brother made uberly awesome snickerdoodles- And he can't even cook in the least!

  11. Ok: I'm not a fan. Not a big one. But I couldn't hold it back. I have cried and cried and cried and it's unbelieveable...more for the fact that I have tried my best to hold them when he died..and hadn't shed these many. But I tell you it's breathtaking!

I left the cinema with a strong hope that he is alive! :tears: and he's just making out of this death a whole scenery for THE greatest come back only he could do! :tears:

I just got back from this is it.. wow.

It was so good! One minute I was crying, the next I was laughing and dancing. He said some really cute things

At the end everybody was clapping and me and my friend were sitting there, holding each others hands and I was just thinking: Ok, take a deep breath, I don't wanna sit here and cry when the lights go on! The picture at the end was really beautifull..

Now I really can't wait to see it!

I hope we can still get tickets!

Oh, and they had an advertisement at the cinema for a : Dance like Michael Jackson workshop!

    I'm so gonna do that.

Just hope I can convince one of my friends to come with me.

    Oh! that sounds awesome!

Hey, I know someone who wants to make graphics for me - and I wanted her to make something Michael related- but I don't have any pics- Do you guys have any favourites?

  12. And that will be great. But I've too much expectation, so i don't know but maybe I will think that their album is bad. But Let's see. I think they jnow how much they risk in doing this.

But I can't wait for the new P!ATD. It's probably ina long time but I'm impatient. Oh Glory is so good !

hmm.. I'm not a fan of new P!ATD (well, not obsessive like I once was) to me Panic was always Brendon's voice to Ryan's lyrics. Those were my two favourite things.

    And now they're apart :tears:

Don't get me wrong- I love AFYCSO and Pretty. Odd. but I'm just going to reserve judgement...

So which album did you like better?

  13. I went to the Cinema today and they had huge cardboard This is it-things, so I asked if I could have one when the Movie doesn't play in the Cinema anymore, and they said that they couldn't reserve one for me, but if I came on the day that it goes out of cinema I could have it.. so I hope they wont give it to someone else!!

    Thats so awesome~

I want to see if I can get one! Who did you ask?

I still don't have my tickets! Right now my mom's against me even going- She thinks I"m too obsessed already....

  14. Thanks for the heads up. And I see that learning to walk in heels is a gradual process.. maybe there is hope! :naughty:

Wow, that's amazing. Unfourtunately, I didn't enter in anything. But it's really amazing being able to see Michael literally made up of what made him a huge star, his fans. :blush-anim-cl:

Mmhm. That guys sucks. He came on ET and the Insider and all that and basically just bashed Michael. :sneaky2:Him and his stupid pink glasses.

    :roftl::roftl::roftl::roftl:

There is totally hope for you!

I love heels. To me, the taller the better- but I'm already 5'7" so I just look like a giant at times- lol. :naughty:

Aww Il ike what you said about MIchael being made up by his fans :aah::aah:

  15. Have you heard "Change" of The young Veins ? For people who doesn't: http://www.myspace.com/theyoungveins.

I respect Ryan & Jon, because of what "A Fever..." and "Pretty Odd." make me feel. But a this point, I'm not sure that let PATD for do Cover of George Harrison in a small concert, was a good idea.

    But We'll See.

And I'm so impatient for the new (perspective ?) Album. I know it will be great.

Yeah, I love Change, well, I don't like the end part where they just repeat 'Change'

And while it is very Beatles-esque, you have to remember that it wasn't just the Beatles who had that sound- it's just the sixties. -

Does anyone remember in The Making of Pretty Odd Documentary, where Rob Mathes told Jon that his voice would be perfect for a 60's band?

Yeah that kept coming to mind, and so hopefully we'll hear Jon sing more on this album
