No, it's not only you. For me the song is clear, Beautiful = Mika, Disaster = Fedez
And I dont like that mix at all
Well, at least Italians seem to like it: it's still #1 on iTunes . I think it's not so common for a track that hasn't been released as a single and there isn't even any radio play or a video yet.

But I prefer the acoustic version, Mika at the piano.
Il like the 1st version also; especially at 2.45 when he sings "hurts" with a really beatiful vibrato and I have dreamed hearing that moment live. I hope he will sing it also at the piano one day.

I like this version too, it reminds me of Years & Years sound, especially the beginning. I think that this version of Hurts or Beautiful disaster (Mika's version, even if I haven't heard it yet ) could do very well if well promoted.

It is #1 on Italian iTunes!

I tried to buy it on Google Play but we have to buy the complete album...
Edit: I tried on amazon.fr and it works !
Thank you for the tip: I just bought it also.

I could listen to it this night on Spotify, but this morning it isn't available any more. I can't buy it on French iTunes either because I should buy Fedez's album to get it . You can only buy it as a single on iTunes Italy.
I must say that I like it a lot even if I am not used to listen to rap, but Fedez has a nice voice and italian is such a beautiful language. Mika's parts are so melodic and his voice . I wonder if Mika has composed those parts?

There will be a new edition format of NPIH in France and Italy (at least). Out in France November 6 and in Italy November 13. It will be sold with the live CD of the Montréal symphonic gigs. I am not quite sure if I am please with this kind of promotion. I would have preferred the symphonic CD alone.

looks like Mika didn't make it to the next phase, right?
>.< dang, i should've voted more! At least Beiber didn't get through either
No he didn't . I am afraid that his public is a little bit older now and they aren't voting like crazy in this kind of competitions. I hope he will be there however.

No Place In Heaven : #9
Songbook, Vol. 1 : #5
Life In Cartoon Motion : #53
The Origin of Love : #107

NPIH is #37 on iTunes Norway. I wonder why now because it has never been in the top 100 there.

Well, I have been to Lille as well and there I liked it much more. Indeed, his voice is changing, but that's not the point, I like this. Yesterday I had the impression that he playbacked certain parts and that it was not well done ... I can't describe. I also felt much less energy yesterday than I did sunday in Lille where he was joking a lot and where everything was more interactive and fun. But it can be just my feeling.
When singing Underwater without "ears" his voice was great, he sang really good ... no doubt about is talent at all! But in my eyes the "global performance" of yesterday was much weaker than it usually is ... but that's just a personal opinion.
Ok, fortunately you had a better experience in Lille. Maybe he was tired after the gig in Amsterdam or he had problems with his voice, that's possible. I will see him tomorrow in Luxembourg and hope everything is ok then.

Since the first Mika show I ever saw, 6 years ago in Brussels with Jim Mobile, I am a loyal and huge fan. Within the last 6 years I have visitied +/- 20 gigs and what I really love about it is the energy he spreads every time.
So I ordered my tickets for the show in Forest National via de presales link of MFC. To collect my tickets I had to be at the box office as from 7 PM ... which I find a bit strange: I pre-order tickets and can only collect them last minute ... while people who bought their tickets via Sherpa can simply print them and queue when they want to. Well, however ...
First the good things: I really love the stage decoration, all the playfull elements (good job, Joost Smits! ;-) )
There was a very good mix of older songs and new songs ... although I don't like all of his new songs.
He played my favorite of the new CD: Good Guys ... as well as my all time favorite: Happy Ending.
I don't remember the entire setlist.
During Underwater his "ears" didn't work anymore, so he sang without ... and that was really great!
However, I found his musical performance much weaker than usually ... and I felt less energy than I usually feel.
All comments I read so far are very positive, so maybe I am the only one who felt that ...
What I really loved was the end: He told about a guy, Joost Smits, who helped him to design the stage decoration "while driniking several bottles of wine in his kitchen in London" ... the only thing that guy asked was to play an instrument on a stage, so he gave him his five minutes of fame ... so that guy came on stage and performed Lollipop with him ... I absolutely loved that!
After the show, when leaving the venue, I saw a black-haired woman with a white dress and a photo camera on the stairs to the inner circle ... I thought it was his mom. Did anyone else see her there?
I saw your comment on twitter and was afraid that the gig was a complet disaster for you. Happy to know that you could enjoy some parts of it however.
I think that the gig schedule is quite hard for Mika's voice. He must preserve it to be able to go on touring: he has 23 dates in one month! In other hand, I think his voice is sometimes even better than before: it's more espressive as he has to replace some higher notes by lower ones. Especially in this recording of Ordinary man you can here how powerful and beautiful his voice can be and there aren't any really high notes in it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzd1OfVsb7c.

I've been looking for this article you told.
Sounds good, hope to see hin in the USA, I already got sad because I will just see him once
It was in this one: http://www.estrepublicain.fr/edition-de-nancy-ville/2015/09/11/nancy-mika-en-concert-au-zenith-le-9-octobre
"Là, en septembre, on la démarre officiellement en Europe avec le nouveau show. Ça veut dire que l’on repartira en Asie, aux Etats-Unis, avant de faire l’Amérique du Sud. C’est devenu beaucoup plus qu’une tournée européenne !"

In yesterday's article in L'Est Républicain (already in News and Press thread) Mika says he is also going to tour in Asia, USA and in SOUTH AMERICA!

You can find here (scroll down) http://www.chartsinfrance.net/communaute/index.php?/topic/52802-talk-about-mikas-sales/ NPIH's chartsrun in different countries: it is still in the top 40 in Italy (in the top 20 since the beginning), in France and in Switzerland. They have separated charts in Romandie (Frech-speaking area Switzerland) and in Wallonie (French-speaking area in Belgium) and NPIH is doing very well in both areas (especially in Romandie).
It seems that NPIH maintains it's position especially in Italy, but in terms of sales, France is more important (French people buy more music than Italians, Spanish etc.).
That makes about 55 000 for France and 18 000 for Italy and about 150 000 in the world.

Seems like this is the new single for Quebec. Radios have started playing it.
A very good decision indeed. I think he should also launch it in other French speaking countries. For exemple, in France they have quotas for 40% of Frech speking songs on the radio and they seem to play the same ones all the time.

Thank you Eriko! Some beautiful pictures and you can see some familiar faces in the front row.

Well, I must say that this time I am very happy to live in France and be able to download the song. I like a lot this french-english version. There is also a different sound in those french parts, a kind of clearer sound.

Than you for the tranlation and this time we learned something new. The story about that Indian women was funny.

NHIP is still doing very well in Canada: it is #9 this week (4 positions up)! http://www.billboard.com/charts/canadian-albums Do you Canadians know how to get total sales?
In France a little drop: now #12 with 42 000 albums sold all together in 4 weeks.
It is also doing quite well in Switzerland #10 and in Italy #15. I only hope NPIH could stay in the global charts top 40, otherwise I don't know how to get global sales.

if it should be the sale worldwide, it is not very good . I ask where are the buyings from the fans on fb and twitter? but true words about his company
It isn't that bad though, I don't compare the sales of NPIH to the sales of LICM or not even to those of TBWKTM, but I am only hoping it will do better than TOOL and it seems to be the case . I think that he would be happy with 200000 albums sold by the end of this year.

Thank you so much for the reports and videos, especially for the NPIH one. It is so beautiful live .

Still waiting for a video of NPIH . I have already listened to that snipped of 15 seconds at least 100 times...
-
That's quite something! Does anyone know how many copies are sold overall? Or where to find that info?
50 000 copies were sold the first week, so that makes 81 000 all together.

I have also listened to some of his songs and I like 21 Grammi a lot.
