Votorama, para quem não sabe, é uma página da MTV especializada em enquetes.

Recentemente foi publicada a seguinte pergunta:

Quem é o novo Rei do Pop?

Um ano depois da morte do icônico Michael Jackson, quem é o artista mais cotado para assumir o trono do pop ao lado de Madonna?

Bem, Mika não parece estar bem colocado: de 20 artistas, ele está no 18º lugar. Porém, isso se dá principalmente por causa dos multirões feitos por outras comunidades, como a da GaGa, da Britney e Justin Bieber. E o mais surpreendente de tudo é que, antes de esses multirões serem realizados, ele conseguiu alcançar o 6º lugar da enquete - algo surpreendente para um artista que não toca na Jovem Pan e que PRATICAMENTE NUNCA teve sua imagem mostrada na TV aberta brasileira.

A votação acaba em 13 dias, e é difícil que nosso magrelo consiga o primeiro lugar, mas claro, nada é impossível. E mesmo que ele não ganhe, se conseguirmos deixá-lo na frente de artistas famosos como Jay-Z, Shakira ou da Demi Lovato, já será algo que deixará muita gente que não conhece o MIKA curiosa sobre nosso amado cantor, o que dará uma certa divulgação para ele.

OMG that was just the most fun gig ever! Haven't been back to see other posts so this may be repeating stuff, but anyway here goes with brief report.

 

The setting was the most exquisite setting for a gig that you could imagine. Quite breathtaking with the ruins all lit up, and the stage was just a mass of sunflowers - beautiful.

 

It was all seated, but the second Mika came on everyone stood up, and a few people ran to the stage, swiftly followed by hoardes of us - so my seat got used for about 10 seconds before I was out of it and to the front. Yay, front row - if a bit to the side. Security did try to send us all back but it was a hopeless task as none of us were budging, and then John came along and told them to leave us where we were!

 

Set list - started with Relax, then BG, SITM, Dr John, BB., forget what came next, then KA + Rain, then got distracted by another swarm of security guys trying to move us as a couple of people had managed to get onstage and they were panicking (but we still wouldn't budge!!! And then someone from Mika's organisation told them all to go away and leave us alone, so they slunk off again! Victory!).. Further on there was OMS, HE, Love Today, WAG, GK, Lollipop.

 

Oh and yes there were BG/LGs for the death march and at the end.

 

The funniest bit was of course the seat-cushions being hurled all over the place (well there weren't any balloons!) And the stage ended up just awash with the things, despite Mika's attempts to gather them up by the arnful and hurl them back out! He said (referring to the cushion mayhem) that he was so proud to be half Lebanese!

 

By the end of the show there had been a full-scale stage invasion with dozens of people getting up there, and the secirity guys had just given up completely!

 

I think quite a few of Mika's family were there - I saw his sister who was looking as cold as I was as we seemed to be the only people there not wearing tons of warm clothes!

 

Mika and all the guys looked like they were really really enjoying themselves, and the crowd was great - everyone up and dancing even at the back.

 

I did manage to take a couple of pix, as I took my bag, camera and mobile in. Never even saw a bag deposit place, and no-one stopped people taking pix so don't know what all that stuff that came with the ticket was about!!?!

 

Oh, my pix look fairly rubbish becsuse I am simply too exciteable to control a camera! I'll see what they look like when I get home, although It may not be till after Eden!

 

Anyway it's 2.30am now and I have a long flight back tomorrow so guess I should go to bed!

 

I wouldn't have missed this trip for the world, and I just thank Mika for being the perfect excuse for visiting Lebanon, which is GREAT by the way. I'm not sure any gig will top this one! But then I've never been to the Eden Project before so you never know!

Ae gente boa, Cibele, Lucy, Stella, Mary, Carla, Feiticeiro, Wesley, Mara, enfim todos aqui, estamos mandando e=mails pra SWU, postando no facebook, na comunidade Orkut, e estamos todos empenhados.

Não acho dificil acontecer, bem eu sou otimista:biggrin2: mas o importante é agitar, temos que mostrar a cara dos fans do magrelo no Brasil, com isso divulgamos ele e são maiores as possibilidades.

Pelo que já conheço no MFC todos colaboram, temos muitas amizades aqui e acho que somos uma grande familia, fico sensibilizada sempre com a colaboração de nossas amigas de além mar ajudando as brazucas:thumb_yello: enfim temos que agitar mesmo.

Postamos nos threads que falei de promoção e o da sociedade secreta, unidos podemos fazer uma bela campanha.

Cibele e Lucy, vcs como representantes oficiais, o que acham da idéia de liderar o projeto de sociedade secreta??? sei que todos tem seus afazeres, mas todos aqui podem colaborar da melhor forma.

Acho que esse é o momento de pelo menos começar a fazer algo.

Acho q todo mundo aqui tem sua 'área de influência', não é? e essa é a hora de usar...

Tou azucrinando o thread da sociedade secreta há um timpin, mas a organizadora não me responde... enfim, como a Cibele e a Lucy são nossos representantes ela vá nos responder/ajudar.

E acho q já tá na hora de falar com a Deb também, ter uma forcinha a mais do MFC é indispensável...

na minha opinião a coisa é muito mais complicada do que isso e o John e quem mais organiza os eventos faz isso com antecedência e cuidado, e mesmo assim ás veses as coisas dão errado (vide concerto de Praga) pra ele vir aqui em outubro, só se já tivesse tudo agendado, organizado com patrocinadores, locais de shows e todas essas coisas que eu não entendo nada, e se ele já tivesse algo planejado, seria com toda a América do Sul e não só com o Brasil, então acho meio difícil disso tudo acontecer, sorry pode ser meu pessimismo falando, mas essa é a minha opinião, mas no que vcs decidirem eu ajudo e assino meu nome

Pelo Mikasounds a agenda de Mika vai até final de agosto , os organizadores do Festival SWU disseram que estão negociando e aceitando dicas .Como resposta aos meus emails ao site http://www.swu.com.br eles mandaram a seguinte resposta que vou colar embaixo

Ou seja podemos ter esperança sim.Claro que não sabemos se Mika vai querer descansar ou compor ou gravar ou simplesmente sumir por uns tempos mas temos que demonstrar que queremos ele aqui , que podemos divulgá lo e mesmo que não dê certo desta vez ,já fizemos um trabalho de mostrar aos organizadores o trabalho de Mika.São pessoas influentes no meio da música e poderá surtir efeitos no futuro .

Make a campaign in favor of Mika's coming to Brazil was the brainchild of Mara Cristina(MFC's member - MaraCris) who is a teacher and uses only the twitter @Marakrist to publicize the work of Mika.

 

And what was the "BIG IDEA?

Confirmation of the Festival SWU (stars with you) in October 2010, Itu, São Paulo city, Brazil.

Among the confirmed attendees Linking Park and awaiting confirmation Paul McCartney.

If i wanna fall in love with a girl or a guy, why should anyone else bother me about it? i am free to love who i want to and if my friends don't understand and want to forget me, then they're not very good friends, right? I don't care if my family doesn't understand because they want me to be happy. And if they don't let me be who i am then i'm not gonna be happy. No one knows how the heart works, how falling in love works so they shouldn't judge someone for loving anyone. I mean what makes you fall in love with a certain person? They treat you right and love you for who you are. It doesn't matter what gender they are, as long as they love you and you love them. You will find your soulmate at some time. Então, esses dias tava pensando com meus botões e pensei que a gente podia mandar esses pedidos pras rádios, tvs etc etc, junto com os números do magrelo. Quantas pessoas assistiram a última tour, quanto ($$$$) ele arrecadou etc etc...

afinal, é isso que eles vão querer saber. eles tão cagando e andando pro que ele é... enfim...

Mas não sei onde arranjar esses números... alguém sabe onde pode achar, com quem ou coisa do tipo???

Tonight was fantastic! Man, what a totally different experience from Tokyo.

 

So first of all, this Nagoya venue was a bit different. Instead of a normal barrier, it was actually pretty much just a fence with a bar at the top. As in, just one bar running across with just a couple little support pillars. This was important, because the Tokyo barriers were pretty much a wall that we were getting shoved against. Anyhow.

 

This was really weird, because the Tokyo crowd were the maddest, craziest shove-iest fans I've ever seen in all the gigs I've ever done. And Nagoya? Among the least pushy, calmest fans ever. So bizarre.

 

But anyway. Mika came on stage, and there was an initial wave of pushing and then... nothing! We all had loads of room to dance and move around and all that. I think it was probably a bit challenging for Mika, really, since he's never played Nagoya before and the crowd were really subdued, and even more so when compared with Tokyo. That being said, the first few rows (including us donuts) were ready to party.

 

The first part of the setlist was totally the same as the last two dates. Then Sunshine started to play Rain, and Mika cut him off, saying "no, I'm actually going to sing a different song." He'd been acting sort of playful and funny during the show - something about not being able to breathe. (The air was really wonky, we all felt that.) Anyway when he said he was going to sing a different song me, Sara and Christine started yelling "Kick Ass! Sing Kick Ass!" As we had asked him earlier via Twitter to sing it. Then the locals around us started catching on, and a few other people started yelling for Kick Ass, too. Then Mika looked at us and was like "Okay!"

 

We were losing our minds, thinking OMFG is he SERIOUSLY going to sing this song live, here in little Nagoya, in a small club?! I couldn't believe it. Even when the lyrics started coming out of his mouth, for a moment I couldn't believe that it was actually live.

 

You'll see from my video - he started with this absolutely PHENOMENAL intro that gets everyone fired up. Blue Sky filmed it from about five rows back as well, so you can see everyone just going mental for this song. It's brilliant. What can I say, man. Legendary.

 

Anyway I have more to report, but for now....

Ou seja, convém que seja feita de modo a que cada pessoa só possa assinar uma vez, senão perde-se um pouco o objectivo.

 

Depois, é enviar para as promotoras, quando já tiverem um número considerável de assinaturas. Também podem, para angariar assinaturas, pedir ajuda a rádios, blogs, etc.
