  1. Well, you've still got four years left, so I wouldn't worry too much right now.:wink2: I graduate in June and I haven't decided yet. But it sounds like you're into music, which is a wonderful thing--talk to the radio station you like, maybe you can get a part-time job there. If not, at least you can get some valuable information from them. You could take singing lessons, too, although I never did and I'm considering a career as a singer. If there's a musi program at your school get involved and see how you like performing. Try things out--go and get as much experience as you can and see what you really love doing the most.

As for the exchange--DO IT. Seriously. My boyfriend lives near Munich too and he came to my school for ten months last year...during which time he got a girlfriend, made the best friends he's ever had and discovered what he's really passionate about. Our school is pretty welcoming but I think as a general rule, if you're a German exchange student, you're automatically awesome.:naughty: Your English seems nearly perfect so I don't think you'd have any trouble.

Yeah, I'm definitely into music a lot. I used to be in the school's choir, I actually think I'm going to rejoin next year or sth. Last year there was a big musical project but I was still too young.

That music thing is one of the reasons why I think radio would be great 'cause when I'm interested in something I will remember plenty of facts about it which should be useful I guess:naughty:

Getting information - yeah, right, I should really write a letter/e-mail and ask what education/skills you need to actually become a presenter there.

The exchange -- I'm in charge to try and find an offer, but I really don't know about how to organise this. I still very much hope I can do it. I'm just looking for something shorter, you know, at most half a year.

    Off for now.:bye:

  2. YKYAMF when

-you're shopping and it's total stress because you're offered so many things but you're desperately looking for something more colourful:naughty:

-You understand everything Mika says in English interviews but struggle with any other accent

-your own English is taking on a slightly similar accent...

-you're a bit scared of seeing the Rain video played in public because it makes you cry:boxed:

(and you don't want other people to see you crying)

  3. Well I want to be a radio presenter and even tho alot of people don't have any belief in me that I could possibly do it as I'm very shy, some people do and I'm trying to take the confidence from the positive and gonna try my best and get an A in Media so I can do it! :thumb_yello:

..If that doesn't work out, I'm gonna learn to drive and get a job delivering pizza!! :naughty:

Huh, that sounds similar to me:blink:

Well, I'm still at school and I have four more years to go, so things can still change (I used to want to become a teacher, but nah... school all my life).

I think a radio presenter would be a cool job, getting to interview musicians:teehee: and of course selecting music for the show and talking to people with an actual feedback.

I also can sing well, but I'm totally untrained. The station I fancy has their own band, so maybe I could even join them...

Yeah, I would really like to do that, but I have no real idea how to get there. Studying Media? There's a journalism school in Munich... Dunno, I'd also like to study abroad, London maybe. But then again, that's sooo expensive:boxed:

I'm bored at school, I'd like to take part in some private exchange with America for example. Huh, but I'm running out of time for that. The last two years must be spent at home because of the preparing for the A-Levels, and there's no chance I can do it this year.

That's a disadvantage of the shortening of our school time, people used to have one more year:aah:

    Anybody got help for me?:wink2:

  4. Made alot of sense just becouse thats the way I feel abou tthe vid and I didint even fight with tears. I was like hit in my head.

ANd yes...the creatures...in my head...usually winning the thinking battles..

What you said was basicly what I wanted to say except I cant put feelings into words that well.

I think the shiny things are rain ...and the creatures are like his thoughts hes trying to get away from. He drives to the forest hoping noone will find him there but he cant get away from himself. Hes walking around the forest and the creatures are his thoughts that are somewhere in his mind. He is trying to get away from them but there is more and more. And you know that surround scene? I think its when all the memories and questions hit him,he doesnt know whats happening, hes trying to run away from the thoughts cuz he cant stand them anymore but he cant and at the end of the vid he realises there is no pint in running away and he stops...

Just what I thought! Only I can't really say it in words.

  5. Oh wow! I didn't even know a video was to come out so soon:shocked:

    I love it!:wub2:

Certainly the best vid so far.

This video made me cry. It really transports feelings.

I guess he's a teenager who ran away from home (I LOVE this colourful tent in the middle of the dark forest). Yet the desperation won't leave him alone. The dancers seem like deer to me that his imagination turned to demons representing his problems/fears.

It has a bit of madness to it, which makes it even more intense. It is a great atmosphere, very powerful.

I love the running bit and the dancing around in the wood.

It all kinda makes me feel like I'm on the run or sth myself.

I hate that it's so difficult to put into words what I feel about it.:boxed:

  6. T4P! I'm glad it's Rain - love it. And there's Pokerface!:punk:

    November 23rd???? :aah:

Much too far away - sales of TBWKTM will slump

And why all the remixes when there are so many other songs he could use? How about HMDYLM or Holy Johnny as a B side?

Yeah, I would really prefer to have them as a B-side instead of all the remixes:sneaky2:

  7. Yeah, I want one of these "I <3 MILKA" boxes just to cross out the L and keep it :naughty:

You know your a Mika fan when people randomly stop you in the corridors and say "Hey! your that girl who likes Mika, right?"

PEOPLE YOU'VE NEVER SEE IN YOUR LIFE TOO! :roftl:

    :roftl::roftl: omg that's awesome!

YKYAMF when you want that carpet called "Grace" in Kelly

but they don't have the colour...:roftl::aah:

  8. I had a dream once that I was in my geography lesson. And I could hear someone humming, but when I looked round I couldn't see anyone making a noise :teehee: They all had their heads down... I guess we were in a test or something :naughty:I was soooo boreeeed! And suddenly the door opened, and the teacher just thought it was the wind and closed it. But the humming was getting louder... and It sounded like the Mission Impossible Theme Tune ... then something tugged at my leg so I looked under my desk and there was Mika! Covered in facepaint (the stuff that army guys wear) and he went "Come on Jo" and pulled me under the table. And we just crawled out of my geography lesson together! :roftl: strangest dream ever! haha!

    :roftl: Haha that's great!

I haven't had any "proper" Mika dreams so far, only very messed up ones and daydreams :teehee:

  9. I've been bullied through out my life since I started school when I was 5 or 6, but the last 3-4 years of my life have been the worst. Once I got to my secondary school it all kicked off, the kids had a go at me for anything they possibly could. I even had a teacher call me an he-she, but it went from kids banging sounding like they are hammering through at your door of your house, hitting and pushing you, name calling, throwing water & food at you and mocking for the way of prenousing things as I can't prenous "h" and "r" sounds..

I still occasionally get the sarcastic comments from the kids but I just try and let it go over my head. It took a year and half to stop the bullying altogether and my mum had to go to my school every single day to try and get the school to stop it...

The reason why bullys bully others is because they are sad and probably they've been bullied theirselves or just do it because their mates do it..

I personally think more should be done to stop it, even though it's commonly known for school it also happens behond that at collage, uni, work, etc. There should be a law or something to stop it and if the bullys don't then will be a bad consciquence for them to pay...

Oh yeah, most just join I guess... I think they're a bit afraid of being made fun of themselves when they defend someone else.

Ya know, like "ooh, s/he likes him/her!" That's just plain stupid :sneaky2:

  10. [in the tune of Happy Ending - Mika]

This is the way i cook toast' date='

    Don't you forget it,

No cheese, no spread, no jaam,

    No marmalade.

Wake up in the morning, switch the toaster on,

Can't get to the kitchen without annoying someone,

If you make some breakfast, i want some too,

Mmm, a little bit of toast, and what you're making too,

This is tastiest thing, that i have ever eaten,

    No spread or jam,

    And marmalade's gone FORVER MORE.

    :thumb_yello: Carry it on(;[/quote']

    :lmfao: That's great! :roftl::thumb_yello:
