  1. AARRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH :crybaby: (happy tears) :fangurl:

OMG... OMG... OMG... after more than 12 years of wanted to meet and see him live.... how sweet can a man be? :swoon:

    One word: WOW!

That's far too cool for further words!

Congratz :yay: Very, very happy for you :huglove:

  2. Oh, i love this thread!

May i contribute our first pic with Jimmy? So happy that we met him after the 2nd Paris gig and he was so kind, taking lots of time for a picture, signed our Tour Books (he draw himself laser eyes on the pic, have to make a scan and put it in here too, it's a masterpiece :biggrin2:) and chatted with us.

    YeahJimmySimsPic.jpg

When we told him that we can't take our eyes off the band making fun of Mika during the trumpet solo part of SITM he told us "Let's face it - it's crap!" and that the fun making part was actually his idea - because he really thought it was crap when they first rehearsed it last year :teehee::lmfao: Now this part is one of my favorites during the show, thank you Jimmy! :thumb_yello:

  3. All of em: yep

but nope not atm. i cant at all...

At all? I see, i really know too little of this illness. Would be interested in learning more though. But doesn't have to be in here...

So you defo should apply as M's undie consultant and dresser. Don't need an education for that, there's nobody more qualified than you as far as that is concerned :biggrin2:

  4. Got a letter from the danish national school of theatre today that i can start there again if i want... i just have to go through 2 tests... use to be 3. But i was a student there a few years ago... i just left the school... not cos i wanted to leave but i had to. Remember the exact date i left... sep. 11 - 2001. Remember when i got home and turned on the telly (couldnt do much cos i cold barely walk) breaking news about WTC came... :tears:

BUT the prob. is im not allowed to go to school or take an education ect :tears:

The time i was a student there was great even tough i was the "outsider" but all the acting, singing, dancing :aah:

Ok, so you're happy because theoretically you could start again - but you actually can't because you're not allowed? Is that because of the epilepsy? So you can't do school or an education at all atm?

  5. I saw Happy Ending as a break up song, but Mika said that when he was in Los Angeles he saw so many homeless people, and he wrote the song about them but I don't see the relation to that at all.

"This is the way you left me, I'm not pretending

No hope, no love, no glory, no happy ending

This is the way that we love, like it's forever

Then live the rest of our lives, but not together"

It sounds too personal and about two people rather than a bunch of strangers without homes. Even the verse lyrics suggest that's it's about a relationship gone wrong. "Two o'clock in the morning, something's on my mind. Can't get no rest, keep walking around. If I pretend that nothing ever went wrong I can get to my sleep I can think that we just carried on."

The best part of this song for me is after the second chorus when "Little Bit of Love" starts. Because...isn't that what everyone wants? Hearing it at gigs is incredible, because we're shouting it in unison, as if we're giving Mika and each other exactly what we need. And then BAM...the chorus comes back to kick us in the teeth, really let out the bitterness, anger and depression that's inside of us and you just really bash it out...because everyone's been hurt at some point...whether it be from family, friends or loved ones...it's like everyone understands how everyone feels...and it's one of my favourite performances. And then it all quietens down with the last chorus and I don't know about anyone else, but I get emotionally exhausted at the end :naughty: But it really lets the dust settle. :wub2:

It really is one of my favourite songs, but what I love about it is that I think anyone can relate to it.

Just wanted to let you know, I love what you said about Happy Ending and i totally agree!!! Same feeling about this song here. My favorite "live song" in a Mika concert because with the "little bit of love" part it creates a certain connection between Mika and the crowd. And to hear thousands of people sing it, it gives me shivers every single time!

  6. yay.... im not alone... and w. the king of the NC... wauw! :yay::drool::das:

plz make sure he is not in grey... or just wearing what he did on the pic before :das:

    Body paint is ready... :naughty:

Grey is forbidden in the NC :glasses3: Flowery and size XL stuff too. There must be rules, right?

  7. not without posting a lil pic here... cant resist...

    strasbourg28-1.jpg

Look at that goodie.... everybody is home there. easy to see... Think he forgot undies in that part of the show cos thats just WAUW! Or was wearing some VERY loose grey undies! Cant get my eyes of it... theres so damn much...

can almost hear em sing some things from Kick Ass "we are young, we are free" :roftl:

maybe thats whats makeing Mika smile so much? :naughty: They are "free" and can do whatever they want to... no "security" :roftl:

Ok now...things have changed. Make yourself comfortable here, you'll be staying here for a while! :lmfao:

  8. Now thats the thing where i donno if it counts in. She is not a member but is checking out this place daily and have for more than a year. Donno why she hasnt joined then. She has seen him many times live

Maybe then it doesn't count. Come on, hun. Let's get outta here! :wink2:

  9. Mika would probably make fun of this again if he'd hear me just like last night but this calls for an AWWWW...

True! This also calls for: :fangurl:

@TheBlackQueen: Thanks for being fantastic ...because it's fantastic you shared this with us! It's very personal and unique! :wub2:

Have to do it again, sorry: :fangurl:

Even better to combine both: AWWWWWWWWW :fangurl:

  10. oh well..they say the support act will be a certain mika tomorrow :sneaky2:

don't know how FD fans would stand him :sneaky2:

Ah, ok. Hope they won't be too mean - must be hard supporting an artist that's so popular like FD. Poor Mika...at least he "tried a little Freddie" when i last saw him, guess he's a fan too :naughty:

  11. don't you know there's a live session in dammy tomorrow? :mf_rosetinted:

a rumour says he'll be wearing a Mad Hatter fancy dress.........shhhhhhhhhhhh

Damn, i managed to have some days off for going to gigs from this Mika guy (know him maybe? Yes, he was the one with Grace Kelly), but why do i always have to work when the cool stuff happens?! :mf_rosetinted:
