I hope your friend likes VWeekend if she's as good as that. After listening to both bands live I really must say MGMT are by far the better musicians. They have a soul, VW just played their songs real quick and left. It didn't make any impression on me. But I like listening to them at home.

I hope at least it's a good one. It WAS a great evening, everything was perfect. Something else happened too: I found out afterwards that I've been standing next to a girl that I know from the Internet. We were talking about going to that gig. But we didn't arranged to meet. It was only after that we discovered we were together in the 1st row. Amazing stuff.

I am glad your gig was fun too! Aren't we lucky to live in such cities that most musicians include in their tours?

I don't really know why I like MGMT, cause they are quite different, but I do. Strange. But I can't listen to Lady Dada's Nightmare either. I always push the next button when it comes on my iPod You really should listen to Congratulations a few times - I did it before I fell for it. It's a challenge.

Not because you're ignorant audience! You are interested in new music, that's why. And you can analyze it. I don't have so many friends who are interested in new bands or who care to listen to bands they haven't heard yet. They stick to the ones they know and think new music is all crap, because they only listen to the radio and Bavarian radiostations play only crap. Or veeeeery old 80ies stuff. I am so sick of that. No wonder that everybody is listening to music on the Internet...
