Hahah, I love his style too But back to the song. Do we know if he has even planned it as a part of his new album or if it is just a separate song he wanted to do? I'm referring to it's "musical style". It is about love so do we just assume it is for the album or has he said something about it? I can't remember.

Maybe it´s written for some Ida´s upcoming album that we don´t know anything about so far

is it a big problem with that because I don't know his reaction ... when gig was over I was in back stage, because I was lollipop girl, and Jasmine asked us if we want Mika to sign something for us and I gave her a pic for autograph and my gift in blue paper bag with a note To Mika from Mina. And she went to gave him our gifts and pics to sign. We won't sure is going to be m&g later and because of that I gave her to have Mika. and I don't know his reaction But I hope he like it!!

This case is similar to mine - even when I gave him my drawings personally, he was too busy so he had no time to check them, he saw few of them and he seemed to like them, but I can´t remember what he said and i´m a bit sad about that because it meant a lot to me to see his reaction. But that little bit I´ve seen, it sounded like he loved them. So I hope so. And you really don´t need to worry about your gift, he wouldn´t be normal if he didn´t like that!

Mina I fell in love with it on Balaton. Mika must have loved it so so so much. You´re an real artist.

I really don`t get why so many people can`t see its beauty. BIOTW sounds like true Mika, I think most of us are happy he has this magical sound back. I hope, we`ll have it as an official single soon.

I use computer paper and pencil HB for the guide lines and I always use 4B for the shadow, but I've also used 2B, 5B and 6B this time. And then I use cotton to 'mix' it.

Oh, and this is actually the first time I don't edit the photo to b&w, I did directly from the colored one.

Fans love him, and fans are friendly, but you can't expect someone, not even such a lovable person like Mika, to like being touched by strangers. I mean we are strangers to him, no matter how much we love him. I completely understand that and I hate to see when someone tries to hug him even when it's so obvious that he doesn't want it. Especially in a big crowd.

 

On the other I saw some videos when he is really friendly with his fans. I saw one, I think from Australia, some M&G, when he touches a hand of a girl to comfort, and calm her, because she was so obviously excited to see him that she was shaking. That was really touchy. So he doesn't have the problem with touching. But surely doesn't like pushy people. Who would?

She does not sing by the second basic voice in Happy Ending. Only a back vocal that does not distract to hear Mika. And only does beautiful this song. I am against a duet in His album. Who is not insanely talented in Mika's entourage? He is very legible... In this case her voice is baulking this song. Because she draws a song on herself.. And yes, I do not experience happiness to see their sugary games in peepers on a stage. Spare me. I do not want to see it.

Do you want to catch those who do not like her because are feeling jealous? Well. I am one of...

oh I wouldn´t mind if he recorded a duet. but not with Ida she´s nice, she sings well and everything, but no, not her type of voice, no no no.

Oh and about jealousy. Of course I am and like I said before, watching them on stage don´t make me very happy, just more jealous and I don´t like that feeling. but it doesn´t change the fact I like Ida and her voice, but not in combination with Mika´s.

You ARE perfect you CAN draw perfectly and this DOES look exactly like him.

After a couple of listening this song I think the same as you girls.

Their voices click very good when they sing together, especially when Mika sings a harmony. When they sing on their own it sounds a litlle bit worse to me.

But with a proper producing this song could be interesting for a wider audience cos it sounds like some Robbie Williams heartbreaking ballad.

And why not? It has powerful mellody even though he could improve lyrics.

Yes, of course, those melodies together do fit, but their voices are just like oil and water. They´ll never really merge. Not for my ears.

Well, for your information, she also sings Happy Ending with him on the album.

 

I respect your personal feelings, but considering this is a forum I am allowed to question why. Do you not like her because of her voice or mainly because Mika and her are so close?

 

I think Ida sounds better on this song than Mika does and I also think she is lovely, having briefly spoken to her, not to mention insanely talented.

that´s true, because the song is arranged like that, I think he wrote it for her, or for make a duet with HER. No one else. I´m not happy that Ida sings it with him, because I don´t think they fit together, but I like her voice, she sings really good. I love the song, lyrics, Mika (), Ida, but not the combination

Yes. Exactly. I know what you mean. That's the reason I stopped drawing for a while. I have strated it all again only recently. I got fed up with it. It was a bit like copying, you know? I love my Mika drawing too, I still stare at it with so much love. If you asked me which drawing of mine I'm the proudest of I'd say that one. I just put so much of myself in it too. (does that make sense? haha! )

 

I adore that Rihanna drawing, there was like 100 hours of work in it....but still yeah...it's omehow....dead. And the Angleina one is....badass. You know, it's like...

Angelina: it's done with pencils, talent and passion...

I like photorealistic smooth drawings, but with something extra one. Like my PS I love you drawing, it's photorealistic but I added my ideas in it....the letters weren't on the original photo. I'm trying to train myself to do that more.(Like drawing the Pennimans fairies)

To get creative and not only just copy a photo. I think the important factor is to put something in you in the drawing. Make it yours.

I have some portraits that don't mean a thing to me even though I've worked hard on them. And others mean so much that I could never sell them.

Art to me, is the process when you put something out on paper that was originally inside you. Others not necessarily see it, but you do. You look at that drawing and feel again what you felt while doing it. Do I make any sense? (I'm talking to much )

By the way-have you noticed that in Rihanna drawing even background is THE SAME? it´s sick.

TOO true. I find those photorealistic drawings so plastic, boring and slavish. For example everyone loves my Mika no.5 because it´s closest to he original picture. But I don´t! I can´t decide which one is my favourite, but probably 17 or 18. I like sketches, I like when you can see the likeness without tens hours of work on it. That´s what´s the talent about for me, to catch someone easily but damn exactly! Because that formic-work drawing is like PC art. Ok, it´s hard to do it, but I miss the soul in it.

We share the same opinion obviously and you DON´T talk too much.

And I love reading posts from someone that talented. I only can learn from your words.
