I feel emotionally hungover from all the excitement and worrying from yesterday. Does that make sense? I don't know how else to explain how I'm feeling honestly.

I'll probably go to Chicago! Montreal is like 9 hours away from me by car, bro! Toronto is 6 and Chicago is 6 with traffic. I'd love to go to the Montreal, actually... But that won't be happening unforunately...

I'd have to get a passport to go to Canada now too.. so much extra money! Plus if I went to Chicago we could get deep dish pizza. See, I've thought this through. Bribing my brother to take me and my friend to Chicago by getting pizza after the show. He likes Mika so its not like he doesn't want to go.

I have found that the US venues are not as strict since 21 is the drinking age so the 18+ restriction is not really about alcohol. In Ontario they just can't have underage kids in the venues if there is alcohol freely flowing (usually at an all ages show they will have a separate section with a bar where no under 19s are permitted to go).

 

Anyway I really hope Chicago works out for you.

Yeah, I'm pretty much as close to Toronto as Chicago.

Most venues I've been too just give you a stamp on your hand if you're under 21 and let you go in. After that, they don't even check IDs at the bar. I've seen quite a few girls in the bathroom desperately trying to wash the ink off their hands. :rolls_eyes:

This venue is usually +21, unless stated otherwise. They haven't posted Mika's date yet, but I do see some other All Ages shows on here.

The one in Chicago! Hopefully. I feel like it will happen because its during my spring break. I just have to reschedule my surgery for my wisdom teeth to be removed and get approval from my parents to go.

No. The legal age here is 19 and no one under 19 is allowed in. When I was a teenager there was no way to get into a bar at all if you were under 19 but at least now they do all ages shows. His other 3 gigs here have been all ages but it looks like this one is not.

Darn it. I guess I'll have to go to the Chicago show (that better be all ages or I might cry)
