I hate Mika!
He's always making me love things I can't stand.
I love him so much.
With that out of the way, I was all set to loathe this song. I hated taking French in school. The translation of the lyrics annoyed me. Dance music makes me want to punch speakers because it's so BORING and droning and it just killed me to think of Mika making dance music.
I heard the first few notes and I thought, "This sounds like everything else I've ever heard from all of the boring popular rubbish on the radio." I started to tear up.
Then, the singing got me. His voice kills me no matter what he's doing with it. Just makes me happy. Just makes me want to dance. Just makes me love whatever he's doing despite myself. And I just hate being proven wrong.
I was SO WRONG!
Thirty seconds in, I was grinning ear to ear. Fourty-five seconds in, I had jumped out of my chair and started dancing, cursing Mika for every awesome second because I was NOT going to dance and I was dancing anyway.
He's the pied piper and I am helpless to his tune.
So, I love him for making me grin and laugh and dance on a day when that was the last thing I would have believed I was going to do.
Now, I'm just cranky that I can't have the album yet.

I don't feel betrayed at all because he's singing in French. I just don't like this song very much, or think that it's not up to the usual standard that he produces. I will disagree on what you say about the song becoming a hit in non francophone countries. I can tell you right now that his song wouldn't get anywhere in the UK charts for sure
Also, I find it silly that he's not making any efforts to promote things in any other country it would seem, and that he's catering so much to the French market at the cost of forgetting about others.
oh well that's true it probably won't make it into the UK charts

As a non francophone nor english speaking person,I don't feel betrayed nor flattered ofcourse and I really don't get the outburst with the fact that the song is in french, for me is just another song, I mean, even if its in french and he's British that doesn't mean it can't become a hit in non fracophone countries ... here in my country, radio stations and even night clubs will play french, german, etc, etc songs.
All it needs is to sound good and be catchy, ofcourse lyrics are important but for what this song is, a bonus track, I think it will achieve its objective, to be played over and over again to remind people that mika exists
on the other hand...I thought it was a slower, sexier kind of song, been in french and about some girl and all .... but is about a mom talking to his son

Hola!!!! que de tiempo que abandonado esta nuestro thread, vengo a avivarlo un poco aunque no debería estar aquí xq mañana tengo examen
Bueno les iba a decir que hace poco pasaron a Mika en rockroad en el canal sony spin hace como una semana mi hermana lo vio y me llamo pero para cuando llegue al cuarto ya habia terminado
lo estaban entrevistando, lo que pudo ver mi hermana fue que en tipo que lo entrevistaba le dijo que su hijo de 7 años era fan de el y que el niño se preguntaba que si a el le gustaban lo chicos o las chicas y el respondió que dependía que le gustaban los chicos y las chicas, mi hermana dice que divago un poco, y luego le dijo y para que tu hijo de 7 años quiere saber eso y se hecho a reir y ahi termino.....El sabado me entere por las chicas del fan club de Mexico que lo iban a pasar en el mismo programa yo pense que seria el mismo episodio pero no solo pasaron pedacito de el cantando y pusieron su cancion de fondo pero nada mas, de todas formas lo grabe y lo subire a youtube en cuanto pueda.
ese mismo dia me entere que la semana pasada al parecer lo pasaron en ese programa el jueves viernes sabado y domingo lastima que no me entere antes
aaw q mal q no lo pudieste ver.. yo tampoco pude
bueno la verdad es que tengo tiempo sin ver tele. Las clases me absorben

there is one interview I've been looking for... I saw it like, once... I think it was in December, after Mika hurt his foot, they were talking about that, and they gave him some uhm... some wine, I think? and they taught him some words in another language... yeah. That's all I remember. Does it ring a bell?
Also, I think they were talking about cartoon characters for a while and Mika styled his hair up in a weird way and everyone was like, laughing...

hey sorry q no habia visto tus posts antes
pues, capaz es eso que se agotaron muy rápido, cuando fui a comprar LICM me llevé el último que quedaba y pregunte por TBWKTM y me dijeron q no lo tenian ..pero no he vuelto a pasar y era recordland 
luego fui a otra tienda y pregunte por el otra vez y el tipo ni sabia quien era mika y yo pensé: ":sneaky2: pudrete" y me fui xD
supongo que debería buscarlo mejor
es que también no me he dedicado mucho a eso 
jajajaja que risa! si esas tipas te acosan para q compres algo y no entienden que así más bien t estan alejando, uno entra buscando zapatos y te quieren vender sombreros ¬¬
la ultima vez q fui a un centro comercial pase por 2 tiendas de perfumes y no vi nada tampoco...pero no entre a preguntar ni nada
siiii!! me gustó bastante la primera vez q la escuche no me gustó mucho porq esperaba otra cosa jeje del preview me imaginaba otra cosa =P
