am i the only one who has no idea who "babydaddy" is? who are all those people on the pictures, do you all know them? of course they are songwriters, i get that , but tbh i don't know many songwriters by face (or even name...), unless they are very famous performers as well.

He`s a musician (songwriter, bass player ) of Scissor Sisters. I`m sure you know them! All members of the group use nicknames since they have become famous - Ana Matronic, Jake Shears, Babydaddy, Del Marquis, Paddy Boom ( he left the group, as far as I know). Jake and Babydaddy are the main creative "forces" of the band, they write most songs\lyrics.

Wow, if Mika writes songs with Babydaddy - it`s gonna be something really interesting. I love Scissor Sisters too. I`ve always thought they should collaborate somehow.

I still have no idea how Mika can combine judging The Voice next year with studio work successfully ..... If he can, the album will probably appear not earlier than in 2016....

Here`s a short story to mitigate my "sentence":

when I was a child my parents used to send me to a naughty corner, for real((. They told me "go and stay there for 30 minutes Julia". I obeyed, but to make it easier I used to take a green marker with me.... While staying in the Corner, facing the wall, I was drawing on wallpapers... They were white.... And my green "painting" looked so nice on them))) So, it wasn`t boring for me at all:blush-anim-cl: That`s how I discovered my artistic abilities.

The same CD for me I first saw MIKA on the Norwegian TV show "Skavlan" 9.3.07 - it was sooo funny ang great, so after 10 min. I was "lost" - on the 13.3.07 I could buy LICM in a music shop - I bought 2 pieces, one for daily use, and one to save as a treasure Later I also got the US version of the same CD - just because "Erase" was added there

Oh, so nice)). Same here - Life in Cartoon Motion CD, European edition. I bought it right after GK and LT were released as singles, I couldn`t wait to have the album!!!! I was so happy and - what`s more important - my expectations turned out to be true, unmistakably.

My brother saw the performance and said "Why are his pants so short?" I didn't notice at all...

Sorry to mention that again, but I thought the same... And his jacket too. ( And the blue leather jacket from Italian XFactor as well) .

It`s not the first time Mika writes about his family "gang".

I actually think he enjoys the fact they exist in his life, whether they are near or far, even if some people joke on Mika travelling with his ma)

I also think that writing about family stories - (don`t call it reminiscing!) - reflects how he`s getting older. There are so many little but obvious signs that Mika has become more a-man-over-30 : the way he looks at young Ariana singing with him, or at XFactor contestants.... His eyes are so serious and thoughful , you can clearly catch those moments.

I wonder what exacty he likes about it.... From the very start the fuss about the song was all about the video and a story behind it, there`s nothing special about the song (imo), I`d never thought it can correspond with Mika`s music taste... He`s unpredictable again.

I can`t watch it on FB too.... Maybe, because we`re not "befriended" by Deb ?

Like some of us here, I`m not interested in XFactor much ...

so, the only thing that can attract me is not Mika judging the contestants, but Mika singin` with them ( at a finale evening, I hope). The moment I will surely watch!

I agree. Artwork is something you create by yourself, with your own 2 hands and fantasy, from scratch, without using other`s pieces of creative work.

Drawing - is artwork. Photography is artwork too.

Putting slogans on pics done by other person, as well as making screenshots - is not artwork.

Exactly my thought about MIKA! Quite weird presentation I must say I don't need further details about the judges bodies, they all look great - it's their music skill that counts ...

BTW, Mika`s shoes add at least 5 cm to his height on the promo photograph. And the second pic looks like ..."the judges from hell" , "beware of them". Oops.
