Good Wife sounds great! I saw a tiny winy bit of this concert on periscope, and it looked really good with the set and all that! I just wished he would get rid of that (these) suit(s) and tie(s).

The video is very "Love Today" but I don't think I'm adding much to what you guys already wrote, 'cause I agree with most of it. Sponsors in the clip were annoying. I haven't seen Mika wear anything but Valentino lately and I think he should start being creative. When I saw the snippet in the 50 minutes documentary, I had very bad feelings about it, but after watching the whole thing I think it's not too bad.

Hi. That`s what I think too. Mika dissociated himself from Freddie and a fact he`s a Queen fan so many times , that I hardly believe he decided to make an ode to F. Mercury. Unless someone else convinced him:naughty: (Gimme a proof !)

 

The thing I really don`t get about Last Party - is resemblance to Adele`s Someone Like You, especially a piano prelude. Am I the only one who feels so?

Oh boy, the thing is that if we end up comparing Mika's piano baselines to all of Adele's songs, it will never end I remember people said that Underwater sounded like Turning Tables by Adele also and a little like Someone Like You... But to be very honest I don't see any resemblance in this song

The colors are nice but I just think that the album cover is Origin of Love ripoff with colors. The songs seem promising though. Last Party sounds divine after only a preview. .

Isn't the "event" the fact that it will be played on French radio? I don't know about French terminology but they would never say this in English to indicate that a single is being released. I haven't seen an actual date anywhere or details about where to buy it, which is the normal thing when a single release is announced/advertised.

New single event, doesn't necessarily mean release, it it meant that, it would have said the single was being released. I think initially it was going to be premiered tomorrow, but for some reason it got changed to today, hence why the confusion about that.

The problem now is in France they are going on about releasing it tomorrow, and in the UK, they won't answer questions about what the heck is going on. So business as usual!

Label Barclay tweeted that it's getting released in France tomorrow, which is what is getting me annoyed.

Back in the days of physical releases 2 months was the norm between first play and releasse day. Not so much in this digital age.

Wait a minute... It clearly says in the newsletter: "new single event on Wednesday". First of all, they played it only in the UK radio, so why receiving an e-mail in my message box, that concerns the whole world if it was only played in a specific country?

Second of all, how can they say Wednesday if it is to be released in May? I'm sure there's confusion somewhere... I'll stick to the fact that May is the album and the single on Wednesday it would be absurd to do otherwise...

I was in Montreal, I went to the second concert...I LOVED IT! I didn't meet Mika and a part of me is super sad about that but I understand that I would be a lucky duck to meet him on my first trip. The gigs were lovely and he was amazing and I can't wait to attend another. I think my favourite part though was meeting all the ladies. It was like meeting a bunch of celebrities! You are all so wonderful and were so friendly, thank you so much for extending such a warm friendly hand. Poor Deb almost didn't eat at the party she was so busy being awesome.

Just this whole fan meeting the day before has gotten the poor woman exhausted... And about the meeting... It probably was worse since it was a last minute organization (like every time I guess). I remember when I got out of the concert on the second day, I felt that Deb had this pressure that people were expecting her to do a miracle on that night so we can all meet him. I mean, the woman is not a magician, she's human!

Love you Deb, thanks for everything again, I won't repeat it enough.

I just want to thank my own pretend mom(Guylaine) and Deb for organizing all that because really, it was a dream come true to meet everyone. As some of you have seen, I have enjoyed so much chatting with each of you and I really mean it I just hope to see you all soon, some day when I will travel the world! I was so happy to see people from everywhere and speak different dialects and just... Talk! Anyways, it was a pleasure to see you all.

Alright, alright, alright...

First of all, after a full day, I'm still living in the clouds... The meeting and the concert... I have lived a full dream in one single day

I have to say that it was beyond my expectations. I thought at first that the set list would disappoint me. With my surprise, he played ALL OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES.

Let me give you a very broad auditive perspective of how I heard each song. I say broad because even after a paragraph, it shall not be enough to really describe the feels. THE FEELS.

First Toy Boy, I had a scream of joy. My favorite from the album after Golden.

Then Underwater... It was fantastic... With an orchestra... UGH!

When Boum Boum Boum played, I was so impressed and I... LOVED IT.

The arrangement of the instruments made this song so different in a good way!

When Rain came, I was happy because I was expecting it and I love it. But I wish that the arrangement of this one would have been softer and more opera-like. But it was still good!

Okay about the new song Last Party... I loved the melody... but the lyrics... hmmm... sorry... disappointed.

Karen was nice. Resembled the record version.

BUT OVERRATED WAS FANTASTIC. My eyes were balling out. You could feel all the emotion of this song. MAGICAL.

And then came my favorite song...

When he was presenting it, I thought he was talking about Over My Shoulder. And he said it. And I jumped out of my chair.

Any. Other. World.

Yup I cried. I promised myself that I would need to hear this song at least once live, in my whole life. And it happened. A real dream.

LYWID was good too. The arrangement made this song obviously less jumpy which was a new approach to it.

Finally Heroes. I hated the CD version but I knew this song had potential. Yesterday, I think this song was the most powerful song of the lot. I was so. so. impressed. I couldn't resist but leaving a huge WOW at the end of the performance, it was breathtaking.

After the break, it was Grace Kelly. I liked it. It was different and enjoyable with the instruments and all that. It was the Grace Kelly I expected and I loved.

Then the beautiful Over My Shoulder. It was soft. It was powerful. It was meaningful. I loved it to bits.

Good Guys was AWESOME! The song is catchy and good and it was a great combination for a memorable performance!

And again... After he introduced us to the singer Skylar, he played another one of my all time favorites... MAKE YOU HAPPY! Again I jumped out of my chair. And the performance was epic and the music was epic and it was WOW.

Another one of my favorites, the astounding Happy Ending. That one was hella powerful and I was so emotional after it was done. I wanted it to last forever.

Origin of Love was nice and sweet. I loved the choir in the back.

About Relax, I expected more. It was too soft. A bit more aggressive wouldn't have hurt. But it sounded more of a ballad than underwater was!

At that moment... I started to feel the end approaching. It was not a nice feeling... I really did not want it to end.

Elle Me Dit and Love Today were both pretty much the huge deal because people started to dance all around during these too. At some point, Mika got distracted from all the moving around. But it was a memorable ending, and still after almost 24 hours, I am not over it (and I don't think I ever will...)

Not only the meeting was pure success since I met all of the people I have always wanted to meet, but the concert was the most magical of all times. Mika and MFC... I will never be thankful enough.

Really curious about the setlist. Personally I would want to hear Any Other World, Make You Happy, Happy Ending, I See You and Lady Jane with a full orchestra.

Is it weird to ask people not to spoil the concert during the three days event? I mean, I'd like to come to MFC securely, or Twitter, or Facebook, without anybody revealing any surprises during the show (i.e. setlist, guests if any, etc.)
