  1. Only a quick memo for the ones who are travelling over Napoli: once you arrived in piazza Garibaldi with the bus from Capodichino airport, go to Garibaldi metro line 1, you'll find it outside the station, on the left side of the square. Be careful, go straight to the metro, the square is under construction but it's easy to find the way. Otherwise, just follow the crowd. Two stops and you'll arrive in Toledo, the famous station...you'll understand why. Then, straight on to Piazza Plebiscito. Have a good trip :)

p.s. Just feel free to bring your cameras ect. with you, nobody will try to steal them. Anyway, I'll protect you xD

Sorry for my bad english, I'm travelling right now!

  2. 3 more days to go and here's what I found today when I walked by the venue. It made me smile for excitement :teehee:

Here's the stage, almost complete. Huge!

The stage is beyond the statues and closer to the center of the square, unlike from where it's usually located. That means less space for the crowd

They left a lot of space behind it, they probably need it as a crossing point for artists/staff.

    View from the backstage

As Allegra said, they provided a platform for journalists and authorities, on the left side of the square, close to Palazzo Reale. Here it is

If you stand behind the platform, this is what you would see :mf_rosetinted:

Hopefully no one of us will stand right there.

Also, they provided a big screen at the nearby Trieste e Trento square.

  4. Napoli, ok al concerto della Nutella. Mika al Mattino: «Piazza Plebiscito, arrivo»

    http://www.ilmattino.it/napoli/concerto_napoli_nutella_piazza_plebiscito_mika/notizie/675762.shtml

Parliamo dello show, allora. Come sarà?

    Translation

While in the studio in Paris, Mika talks about the Naples gig. He says:

"I come to Naples, a city of art and culture with due respect and emotion, with responsibility and pride of those who know will perform in 'the salotto buono' ( roughly 'parlor') of the city, formerly granted to popes, rock stars and political leaders and, more recently denied. But I come to Naples with the awareness that famous monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, turned to my child's eyes when I lived them as a frame of a show dear to me. I don't want, we don't want to take anything away from the history and the art of Naples, but we want to add joy, fun, my voice, my songs."

So this is my thought: as expected, Mika is well aware of the historical and emotional dimension of the venue, and its importance as symbol of the european art beauty. Good returns aside, I guess the idea of playing in a place like this, this unique experience, drove him to join the event.

That's all I needed to answer the ones who still argue about the city.

  5. VIDEO

Press conference in Milan, better & longer video

As you may know, Mika debuts at #1 on both singles and albums iTunes Italy charts, even though Songbook Vol.1 it's available just for preorder. Very happy about that, it's been a long time :thumb_yello:
