So, this was mine. I know it's not a 'doodle', but I was reading the paper when I came across the crossword puzzle. I just did it and took a pic. I probably won't get picked, but at least I submitted something.

I'm finding it hard to come up with anything for the Mika Doodle Contest. I have to be in "the mood" plus there is a deadline. This sucks!

I've only submitted one...so far...

Please don't ask me to find it, but I watched an interview he did here in America and I swear he kept dropping into an American accent. I'm not even sure he realized it. I would rewind and watch again to make sure I heard it right.

...spend more than a half an hour at work [when you should be working] photoshopping your Mika Fan Club signature image.

What station is this? Is It on XM? I keep thinking that if I listen to the station that plays music from 2000-2009, I might hear one of his songs, but the music I've heard is so rotten that I just give up and pop in a Mika cd.

From what I can tell, it's out of the Netherlands and they play stuff from ALL OVER THE PLACE. Besides Mika, I have heard songs from Nat King Cole to Guns n Roses, but they don't play the big hits. I have heard Queen songs that are album tracks as opposed to what you would expect. They also play songs I've never heard before or foreign groups once in a while.

The ONLY drawback that I can find is that they play the same 3 commercials. So if you like Flo from Progressive, H & R Block, or Walgreen's, then you'll be fine.

I'm really starting to like this station more and more...

A couple days ago my step-dad sent me this email "I was in the locker room at the gym when i heard this very familiar song called "Celebrate" by some guy named Mika! If i would of been out in the gym i would of been able to see the video! What a pleasent surprise! I am sure that it was 'that Lebanese/Syrian sensation!' "

I've been wondering what happens when school is cancelled for weather? Do they add additional days to the school year? I've never experiences that.

In my kids school system, they schedule 3 days for potential snow days. If they use those days and need more, then they add extra days at the end if the school year.

I grew up in central MN and the rule was, if the School Superintendent could make it to his office, we had school.

I still think that it's funny that I don't get a day off work 'cuz it's too cold...?

I work in an office with 3 men and they tease me incessantly about Mika.

I don't even feel as if I talk about him too much. They just know I've saw him in concert twice in 6 months and I sometimes wear the t-shirt to work.

They tease me about the "new Ariana Grande song featuring Mika".

Look what my 13 y.o. daughter did for me for the New Year! It was such a surprise, she is not a mikafan - she wanted to make something pleasant for me
