I'm travelling in from Winnipeg Canada. This is my first time seeing Mika. My god I hope we meet him!

Well, you're traveling about as far as I am, just from the opposite direction.

We saw him in Chicago last October and he came out about an hour after the show and signed autographs. I hope he does that here as well.

I'm a MN born and raised, but have been living in NE for over 25 years.

Ok I'm going with my Mother and I'm a drag queen so if I go in Drag you will not be able to miss me hahaha! What time are you going to the venue for?

As early as possible! Not sure yet. We are planning on scoping it out and seeing where parking, food, bathrooms are nearby.

now that there's at least 2 MFCers in Omaha he ought to come here since that's more than in MN in Philly i plan on reminding him of this by giving him more corn

When we saw him in Chicago last October, we were actually standing in line with about 5-6 other people from Omaha. What are the chances of that?

i wish i could attend this show as it's one of the few in the middle of the country & i want to encourage him to come back. my sister lives on the the east coast tho, so i'm going to gigs there instead.

I didn't think he would come to Omaha, but I was hoping...

We're going to the MN show because I'm from there and have family to visit and stay with as well. Plus I get to spend Easter with them, THEN go to the show. BONUS!

Same problem in the US, really. His tour here should really be called the "NORTH US Tour" :rolls_eyes: There isn't a gig that less than 14 hours away from me.

I've always had to travel at least 500-800 miles to see him.

I've missed the curly hair. So glad it's back!

Well, it's myself and my daughter [she's on MFC, but hasn't posted yet].

I´m watching this StubHub side, it´s ridiculous to see over 200 tickets for one gig there but people seem to buy them.

Minneapolis sold OUT!

I got mine!

I think the whole thing is just very low risk. There isn't as much overhead with such a small show and he can brag that he sold out 17 dates in North America. Or rather the US, which is what they always say even when it includes Canadian dates.

 

The Toronto show in 2008 was twice the size and it still sold out. I asked Andy why they didn't put him in a bigger venue because the place was packed and crazy. He said it was better to sell out than have the place half empty.

It looks like most of the venues have a capacity of 500-600.

I've been a MIKA fan in the US since before his music was released here, but I'm new to this MFC website.

I have been supporting and promoting MIKA music from the beginning as I have been working music retail since 1987, [Yup, I'm an Olding, AND DAMN PROUD OF IT!] but was only lucky enough to see him live for the first time just last October in Chicago.

Besides music, my other hobbies are drawing and stalking my children's extra-curricular activities.

Hopefully, I will get the hang of the site and make some great acquaintances.

all I can say is...DAMN!

Ah well....a bit too away far for me to go...
