    So, last night my daughter was out to dinner with some of her friends and I was on the couch quietly watching TV when I get a phone call from her. This is a big deal, cuz she only texts people, she hardly EVER uses her phone to CALL someone, so it must be important. Was she in a car accident? Did she forget something like her wallet? No, she was having dinner at Noodles & Co. and the restaurant played Mika "Kids" over the sound system.

    omg >.< that actress Mika Boorem & him share the same birthday so perhaps that confused them :doh:bitch needs to change her name AND her b-day but at least they mentioned him at all :/

     

    and thank you for checking this, Nicolaa. i wondered if television shows like Entertainment Tonight or Extra would mention his b-day. Never thought of checking the paper!

     

    My daughter wanted me to call the paper and complain. I asked her if I should demand a front page retraction and apology, with a huge color picture, then fly Mika in to town to apologies to him personally, and we all have to be present?

    That isn't asking too much, is it?

    I had a dream quite a while ago, but I guess I can post it now...

     

    My daughter and I had gotten tickets to An Intimate Evening With Mika at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis for April 2, 2013. The one thing my daughter said was that we were going to be FIRST in line for this show, no matter what.

     

    So, about a week or so before the show I had this dream...we were first in line outside the theater and when the doors opened up we went straight to the front of the stage. There were hardly any other people there, they were just milling around, and no one was up front? Almost like no one was aware there was a show that night. All of a sudden, Mika come out on stage pushing his white piano across the stage and to a door on the other side. My daughter and I looked at each other not sure what to think. I didn't want to loose our spot, so I told my daughter to save my spot and I would be right back. I followed him through the door to find him in a small bar area, sitting at the piano, and he looked up at me and smiled. I flagged my daughter to come into the bar. And there we were, just her and me, and we had our "Intimate Evening"!

    Was this at Westroads? craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap i couldve been there for this. damn my lack of a need for clothes or ya know, desire to go to the mall :aah:

     

    Why...yes it was Westroads! Maybe you should just go into Von Maur and sit in front of that TV until is plays again? I'm sure the staff won't mind.

    Timing is everything...one minute later at either store and we wouldn't have ever know those songs were ever played...

    So my daughter and I walk into the mall today to buy some clothes.

    Our first stop is a JCPenney store and as went into some new clothing line area, my daughter grabs my arm, stops me and points up. I listen and realize they are playing Stardust! We stay and listen and are amazed that it is being played there.

    Our next stop is a high end clothing store called Von Maur. We walk in and again, my daughter grabs my arm, stops me and points up. I then realize that I am hearing Popular Song. BUT WAIT! My daughter then turns me around AND THE VIDEO IS PLAYING ON A BIG SCREEN!

    It was a good day for shopping...and Mika.
