Last night I dreamt I was a new judge on The Piano alongside Mika and Lang Lang (despite the fact that I could never play piano as well as any of the contestants!). It was quite a short dream but Mika was asking me what I thought of the performers and talking to me as if I was his friend.
Mika then promised he would do a private concert for all The Piano contestants and I could go too. But I woke up before that part!

With such a unique title, this song was the one I was most curious to hear! It didn't disappoint. I really like the whole tropical sound, you can tell he was inspired by his experience in Vanuatu.

This song is definitely one of my favourites from the album! It's so catchy and addictive, a perfect opener to the album. I love all the electronic effects

Okay, can I just fangirl over this music video for a minute?
I think it's one of my personal favourites of his from the past few years. The visuals are strikingly beautiful and it's so colourful. I love it!

I'm beyond excited!!!
Manchester is the one closest to me but I'm going to the London date instead! Me and my Mum will make a mini break out of it! I'm actually really pleased I've got my Mum on board to go, but I think she's just as excited as I am!
Would have loved a date in my county, Yorkshire (so Leeds, Sheffield or Doncaster would have been great!), but I'm not too disappointed, it's still something to look forward to!
That sounds like a great idea! Yes would have been good to have a few more dates (Glasgow would be ideal for me!) but it's still very exciting. This is the first UK tour he's done in a long time

OMG OMG OMG!!!
I don't know if you can tell how excited I am
Not sure what date to go for yet but thinking about London as I was planning to go there next year anyway.

WOW!!! That's brilliant!
Can you remember the cafe name? Any fans in the area could be sure to visit it.
It was a place called Ronzio in the city's west end. I will be sure to visit again! The coffee was also lovely
As a side note, I believe there is a hair salon called Mika in the city too! Never been though.

Today I was in a cafe in Glasgow and I heard FIVE Mika songs on their music player! Love You When I'm Drunk, Lollipop, Billy Brown, Staring At The Sun, Stay High.
What made me excited was that they mostly played his album tracks, not the famous singles. Whoever runs that cafe has great music taste!

What an amazing series this has been and a spectacular concert to finish it off. The performers all played beautifully and Mika was as charming as ever. I definitely thought Lucy was a worthy winner, and she is proof that you can do anything you want in life no matter what challenges you face.
I have to say though I will miss seeing Mika on my TV on a Wednesday night.

I've just seen the video for the first time and I think it's so adorable! Very cute and quirky in true Mika style
This past week has been a bit difficult for me but at least I can always rely on Mika to cheer me up

I really enjoyed the Glasgow episode, especially seeing Mika in my home city in a station I'm very familiar with!
I thought all the performances were great and Sean was very memorable. My favourite part though was when Mika and Lang Lang were dancing, it was so cute

Last night was another great episode! Lots of amazing performances and Lucy was incredible, very inspiring and she definitely deserved to perform at the concert.
I'm very excited for next week as it will be the Glasgow show - my home city!

I really enjoyed the first episode! Great to see Mika back on UK TV and all the pianists were so inspiring.

Keeping this thread on topic...
Not in a good head space right now 😔
If someone you know is struggling, a friend or family member, please PLEASE check in on them. If you notice that their behaviour has changed, even in just the slightest way, it could be a sign that something is wrong. A simple message or text asking how they are could mean everything to them on a bad day. Or you know pick up the phone and actually call them?! (people still do that right?)
Just let your friends know they're loved, please.
I am ok, in the sense that I'm not in a crisis or anything like that, I can't give context but I just wanted a safe place to say something because of something a friend told me today, and it's been a lot to take in.
I am so so sorry to hear that, I hope everything will be ok

This is all so exciting, I will definitely be watching!
It's a really cool idea for a talent show and I love Claudia Winkleman too! This definitely explains why Mika was in Glasgow and Birmingham.

After a busy week, I have finally had time to post about this wonderful concert! The opener was very spectacular, this was my first time seeing Mika with his wings. The lightning effect behind the cage was just wow and Mika's vocals were incredible as usual.
Highlights for me had to be - Talk About You, Big Girl (when he came up to the balcony!), Yo Yo, Popular Song and Elle Me Dit. But I loved the whole concert of course! It was also great to meet @Anna Ko Kolkowska and a few other fans too!
I also loved that he sang We Are Golden at the finale as this was one of my all-time favourites! Can't wait for his next UK tour
