I think I remember it was with Martha, they went to see a gig or something, but I wouldn't remember the title (I've read them at the time of publication so it's quite a long time ago and it's a lot of book stored in my head ). If I get it right Martha's brother didn't like him, might be why I decided I didn't like Martha's brother XD

 

Also, talking about the Doctor Who-books-Mika combo, I assume it has already been talked somewhere here but there's a lot of Mika in the Writer's tale (the 2008 book written by Russel T Davies, commenting the writing of season 4). He explains that he uses music a lot to find inspiration, and it was Life in Cartoon Motion which kicked him into the writing of series 4 - and also that the then future companion was sort of born out of Any other world. This new companion finally never showed up as Donna came back but he still used what he had written and put a lot of it into Donna, and you can actually feel the song quite strongly in her.

 

(Also, there's quite a few lines involving Mika not wearing any pants in that book )

Ooooooooo I am now intrigued and very interested in this book but I seriously did not know that and these facts make me very happy! apart from the Donna fact... I cried so much when she left

It was actually because of that music channel that I rediscovered Mika because they used to play Popular Song ALL THE TIME!

In NZ we have this music channel like MTV called The Edge Tv and people are able to send in playlists of music to be played for a segment called Uchoose. They only play playlists with mostly popular songs or songs that were famous though. A few times my playlists have been played and they always include Mika's music, but unfortunately they only play my playlist if it has is famous songs, so the newest Mika song they play would be Popular Song because that entered the charts in NZ. But they've played Grace Kelly before

I have this weird secret obsession where I watch all these reality to shows on YouTube, and it's not even the really famous American ones eg Jersey Shore, 16 and pregnant. I watch stuff like say yes to the dress, breaking Amish, cake boss etc and multiple times on supersize vs super skinny (both kids and adults I have heard Mika songs

I don't know about the others but I keep writing because I like dicussions about Mika, fanhood, expectations and life in general a lot. And although there is a lot of repetition there's still enough new material or new ways of bringing the old arguments to keep me interested.

Second reason: I'm kind of addicted to being on the Internet lately, probably a way of escaping real life.

Why is the discussion still happening? It's almost as if you believe by repeating your opinion but paraphrasing it differently every time will make a difference and change someone's mind? Please remember that I am neutral in this situation and I do not want to take anyone sides, but how can this be a debate if the same arguments are being made, and for what reason? I hope I haven't hurt anyone's feelings
