In an article about Europe in Corriere della sera some years ago, he confirmed that he feels European even if he hasn't any document to prove it, owning only an American passport.

I think Yelle's version is a cover. I remember I listened to this song when I was young, so long before 2007. I checked on Google and I found that the original version is from the '80's and was sung by a duo called A cause des garcons, the same name of the song.

If I understood correctly, it was a river not a lake and he said that he put his foot on the frozen river instead of the soil. So I don't think he fell completely in the water but maybe only his leg.

In the Canadian show he was the only guest and the show was an hour long. But the Italian show will be similar to the French one in which he was one of the guests in 2019.
Here it is. It wasn't very long and not particularly emotional.

All the Italian newspapers report December too, quoting only the Parisien article. I think nobody read the Le monde article. @dcdeb confirmed that it happened mid january and obviously we trust her, not the tabloids. 😉

Yes, it is. It's from yesterday. The pic is taken from the zoom call made yesterday. His mum must be passed away around the 20 th of january. The period in which he was silent.

According to the TV 5 monde site they will broadcast the show too. I tried the live button and it seems to work, at least here in Italy.

In the Italian post they say Mika will sing some songs from the pediatric hospital in Paris...
Sounds weird to me too that he and the choir will be physically present in a hospital with all the restrictions, but who knows...

I think it's always Andy' s apartment. In the first story from Athens back in March, you can see the same light green closet or cupboard.

If I remember well, the creative black tie was for the dinner of New year's eve. I saw people dressed very casual, especially on the 30. I think that the occasion can require an elegant outfit, but nothing too formal.
