Oh wow, I didn't think about downloading  Thanks for the tip @ladyolivier :wink2: @emilyb the last episode of the first season definiately at the end! You will need a tissue :crybaby:

I look forward to watching it!!! Ohh no!:(  I needed one last week when I had 2 big tests on the same day (I was very stressed) and was listening to his music the night before (some of the sadder songs played at times). His music can be so moving at times....I don't really know how to explain it so I probably just sound crazy :blink:

I'm so happy I can use all my casa mika knowledge! Neither season needs to be watched in order. Last season had more recurring characters than this season, but there weren't really any plots that "developed" in a way where you have to watch in order. I would definitely watch the last episode last, though. It does focus on it being the last one and it pretty emotional so it really feels right to end on it. I feel basically like it's probably best watched in order, but I don't really see any reason you'd have to.

I have a better recommendation on doing the subs:

This is the thread for last season. There's a bunch of links in the first post - both to the sub thread posts with the subtitles and direct links to the episodes - those long "creativemedia3.rai" links. This is my method for subs, and I think the best one: follow the bottom links (the lower links with "1800" after them are HD) for each of the episodes and right click on the video. Click "save video as" and it'll download the episode to your computer. Then, go to the sub thread posts. There's links on the subs thread posts under the embedded Vimeo links which are google drive links and take you to the "SRT" files - SRT files are raw subtitle files with words and the timings. Then open the casa mika episode in a media player with subtitle capability - the built in video player in windows 10 and my personal favorite media player, VLC, both have this ability - and there will be an option to manually add a subtitle file to play with the video. It'll open a file window and you can pick the right SRT file and viola, you have subs!

It sounds complicated but it really isn't! I like doing the subs this way because I can watch the episodes in the highest possible HD, it's easy for me to play on my TV which I usually do, and I can save both the episodes and the subs in one large folder on my hard drive to have forever and be able to watch without internet.

Thank you so so much! I'll watch them in order now that you sent me this! I definitely will end up binge watching them sometime but for now I'll try to separate them to make the episodes last longer and so I can retain it better!

(I'm not stalking you, I promise! :lmfao: )

Have you watched all of season one yet? The thing I love most about casa mika is that even though there's only 4 episodes a season, they're 3 hours a piece so there really is a lot of it! It'll be a full 24 hours by the time this season ends, which honestly sounds like a binge dare to me LOL. If people can do 25 hour Harry Potter marathons, maybe a 24 hour Casa Mika marathon needs to happen...

anyway, don't be sad! You have many more hours of Casa Mika ahead of you!

One tip: I really recommend watching the episodes in 2 parts. They're so long that I feel like they're almost too much to really absorb at once, and watching them in 2 parts (I usually watch them over 2 days) really makes it feel like there's more to watch, and it's easier to not be sad about there only being 4 episodes :lmfao: plus, the length means that half an episode is still longer than most movies, so you don't feel like it's over too quick, but you still have something to look forward if you've only watched the first half!

okay I'll stop now I just have a LOT of Casa Mika related emotions :wub2:

No, no you are totally fine!! I love talking to other fans on here because everyone here understands how absolutely amazing his is and we could go on and on for hours! I can't talk to any of my friends about him and when I do it drives them crazy! They refuse to listen to his music or look into him, their loss!! I have not watched the other episodes just little snippets....the 1st and 2nd episode of season one on the Subtitles page are linked to other videos so one day I'll go out and find them!

I totally think a Casa Mika marathon needs to happen!! Thank you for sharing that tip! There is sooooo much content in just one episode that it is hard to take it all in at once and anything to make those moments last longer the better.

I do have a quick question. Do you need to watch the episodes in order? & Are there reoccurring characters throughout the season or does he just choose a select number of guests per episode?

Don't ever feel the need to stop! I could go on and on about everything Mika too!

  4. I just had the chance to sit down and watch Season 2 Episode 1 in its entirety. The episode was nearly 3 hours long and I'm still sad its over! I know I'm late to the game as most of you have seen his show before but Casa Mika is so incredible and amazing! It has its funny parts along with the serious ones that move and touch you which made it a spectacular show. I loved Luciana's' speech in the beginning of the show followed by We are golden!:wub2: It really touched me as I was bullied until I found my own voice in the 9th grade. I will NEVER forget the scene where Dita locked Mika in his closet with no clothes! Priceless!! I would have loved to be there in person for those scenes! :lmfao:

Well, the more you explore the more you find! :naughty:

But I am interested in any ideas you might have about the things you need help with.  We know it can be hard to find your way round the forum but some of us have been here so long we don't find it a problem and find it hard to see things from a newbie's perspective.

So as new members to the forum, what would make things easier for you?  A list of useful threads?  A site map?  Any other suggestions?

(And if any other newbies have ideas, I'd like hear them too)

I was sent a thread to @Subtitling Team and that was very useful! I love that I can watch Casa Mika and understand what is going on! I think it would be helpful to put that somewhere that is obvious and easy to find because I don't think I would have looked for/found it without another member telling me! I think that the forums are pretty self-explanatory and people create new threads in each forum.

If anything I would suggest a moderator or someone who has the authority to do so make a list of useful/popular threads that new members should be aware of and put it under the rules and guidelines that are posted in the About MFC because it was one of the first things I read on the site.

I'm on the east coast same as you so it's mid afternoon for me. I believe it's about 4-something, but unfortunately I don't have any advice on live streaming it - I actually never watch it live! I am a little nocturnal (I'm usually awake from like 11 am - 2/3 am) and I'm a college student so the time casa mika is on live is dead in the middle of the part of the day when I'm getting homework done! I always watch it in the evening after it airs on the Rai site. I'm getting some homework done right now so I can start on tonight's episode!

Ohh that's so cool to know and I'm a college student too so I totally get where you are coming from! I try and tell myself I can watch part of the translated version of Casa Mika and then do some work but I know once I start I wouldn't be able to press pause so its best to do after all the work for the day is done :lmfao:

This show always gets even better when I understand what's going on! I adore Luciana even more now. I'm also very very short so I understand her pains :lmfao: Mika and Dita is also SO much funnier with subs! and it was hilarious anyway LOL. I have to ask tho...um...I know some of you were at the recordings. I'm deeply curious how the filming went down for Mika's...um...post-Dita scene. Like, was the audience warned? Obviously it was planned but he looks like he's regretting his choice pretty seriously in that moment. Did they film that mess in one take? I'm so sorry I just...I need more details :lmfao: Mika and his diamonds might be the funniest thing I have ever seen on television and I literally cannot imagine being present for the filming of that. I would have been both rolling on the floor and also VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.

Hey! I remember you saying the other day on my introduction post that you were from the US! His show is a relatively new revelation to me and I was wondering what time it plays for you here and where you live stream it if you can? I know it plays at 21:20 but there is a bit of a time difference between there at here. I did make an account through Rai and can access past episodes in Italian. I am working on watching the English versions uploaded hereto catch up so I can take part in conversations here!

I did watch that scene today translated to English and it was absolutely priceless:wub2::lmfao:

Yes! I have watched his show with no subtitles because I wanted to see it! Thank you so much for showing me the @Subtitling Team thread because now I can actually understand everything that is going on! I know they are very busy but I hope they get Season 2 Episode 2 up quickly, I can't wait to watch it with subs!!:wub2:

Wow that's far! :) Are they official races? Like, can you win something?

I agree, he's a very unique artist :wub2: I hope you'll be able to see him in concert soon! I also can't wait to see him again :wub2:  And tonight it's Casa Mika again! :biggrin2:

I run on my own but also in races where you get to wear the bib and are racing with bunches of people and earn a medal at the end!  You can win things if you place in your age group category (so 1st, 2nd, or 3rd)which I have done a few times!

Do you know if there is somewhere you can watch it translated into English? I know the that that @Subtitling Team will put it up as soon as they can!

Indeed! Figured I'd bump this thread :naughty: Well, better be busy then doing nothing right? :aah: I've been busy with work as well (mostly preperations) since the busiest month of the year is coming. :)

Hello and welcome! It's fun to talk with other Mika fans isn't it? :) Running road races? Oh my! I get tired if I run 20 meters :aah:

Yes I agree, both Mika and his music are magical :wub2:

It is so nice to talk to others who understand the effects he leaves on his fans! Yes! I just ran a 5k this weekend (and got a personal record yay!) and I have another 2 in December! Next year I want to start competing in longer races. His music is by far my favorite to listen to while training....and well all the time! It is so addicting and Mika is so unique, I've never encountered another artist like him before:wub2: I would love to see him in concert so I can't wait to see where he has chosen to go on his next tour!

Hi!  :bye:  Have you heard about pop figures made out of vinyl? Some of you probably did and maybe collect them too. So pop figures represent different characters from tv shows, movies etc. Recently my friend showed me her collection and I got the inspiration to do something similar  :das:  I know that I'm not so good at making scatches and stuff but I had to try make my ideas real and share them with you guys  :wink2:  What do you think about it? If you have any ideas for Mika pop figure just put it down here and let's make our own Mika collection! :biggrin2:

You are such a talented artist!! I'm not sure if you know this or not but if you send these to mikacompetition@gmail.com they choose the best artwork and post it on his facebook page!

Hey les gens une petite question.Quelle est la chanson que Mika aime par dessus tout ?

I watched an interview that he did in his study a few years back and one of the questions was "What is your favorite song by another artist?" and he did say it is nearly impossible to answer due to how many brilliant artists there are. He did say however that his "favorite song in the world is Nature Boy by  Nat "King" Cole". This is the full interview he did! Hope this helped!

Seems we've all been rather inactive!  I've been extremely busy at college, working and socialising with my group of friends.  How's you? :)

I'm new to the MFC and it's so fun reading posts and interacting with others. I've been super busy with nursing school and training for some running road races I have coming up! However, I always find time to listen to Mika's music because it is truly magical!
